Centre Point Silom

We stayed in the Family Suite and it was amazing. Very spacious. Full kitchen, dining area, very large closets, and it had a washer and dryer. A very large master bedroom with a king bed and 2 twin beds off the living area. Clean and comfortable! The location was good. (We didn't eat at the hotel.)

We had only 1 issue at the hotel and it was on the morning we left. We asked for a cab to the international airport. They called a cab and loaded our luggage and off we went - only to arrive at the wrong airport. We're not sure what happened, but we suspect the person at the hotel just said airport and the cab driver didn't confirm which airport in Bangkok - and there are 2, an international and a domestic. We paid another taxi fare to the correct airport, missed our flight to Da Nang (as well as the train we booked from Da Nang to Hue), had to pay for another plane ticket, and spent about 6 hours in the airport waiting to catch the next flight. It was an expensive mistake and we lost an entire day of our trip.

Fabulous location very close to River ferry central pier and Skytrain station. Markets ,streetfood settings and restaurants all at your doorstep. Large suite with kitchen and washing machine. Views overlooking the river and the constant river traffic. 20 to 30 minutes by ferry to Grand Palace and Wat Arun. Free cross river ferry to massive Icon Siam centre. Great value and fabulous staff. Very good buffet breakfast and nice 8th floor rooftop pool. We spent 6 nights and loved it.

River View partially blocked by another building. No bar in the hotel though it does sit on 4 stories of Robinsons shopping centre which has small restaurants ,department stores,bank and mobile phone sim shops as well as a supermarket which sells take away liquor in restricted hours.

-Hot water in the bath for one minute then cold water. I booked a room with balcony over the river .It should has a chair and table .I ask for that and ( He) the receptionist Said to me NO ! , explain that my booking state that, first want me to pay ,then agree to bring a chair without a table . -On weekend Long wait for check in *To be honest other stuff were friendly and helpful except that male receptionist should be learned how to respond respectively.

The room, breakfast, location, ease of access to vegetarian restaurants and fruits, everything was very good

The hotel blocked a refundable deposit of 2000 THB at check in. This should have refunded at checkout and the person at the front desk assured me it would be done. We checked out on Jun-25, but the amount is appearing as an unbilled transaction in our bank statement. This means the person at the counter did not effect the refund. Request attention to my problem urgently. If you send me an email id, I will send the screenshots as proof

A spacious well priced apartment great for a family with a full kitchen, washing machine and 2 bedrooms each with comfortable beds, their own tv, air conditioning and loads of storage. Well located for action with access to supermarket in adjoining shopping centre, open air markets around corner, food and food stalls plus access to BTS and river 5 mins walk away with free ferry to Icon Siam mall. Helpful concierge and free water provided daily.

The positives were far more but I should mention that our room was on level 8 which didn’t have lift access to it, it was only to the floor below…. which would have been fine but I had a freshly injured knee so was hard going as I wasn’t able to be moved or provided a reason not to change rooms, so it felt difficult each day as I had to struggle in and out. I did notice limited mobility options in many places around Bangkok however so possibly the norm. just something to be aware of coming. We also booked our own tours online as wasn’t obvious what was available, although I’m sure it is possible. Front desk didn’t leave an impression.

We have been returning guests from 2004 ( except for 2020 and 2021) so there could not be much we do not like!

We notice that they have embarked on a cost-saving exercise. Amenities have been cut, choice of food and drink at breakfast reduced.

Location was great with lots of dining options nearby and train just around the corner. Family room was spacious and well equipped. Staff were very helpful and keen to please. Great stay.

These are not complaints, just observations.... Our "River View" room had a glimpse of the river through some old buildings and the pool was not usable during our stay. I also had to pay a 2000 Baht deposit which they wouldn't take on my Visa Debit card or my Amex, so had to pay it in cash, which was returned to me at checkout but I found it rather inconvenient to have to pay in cash! The air con was super loud but it worked well.

booked a room with balcony “ river view “ one chair on balcony only and expected to sit there in evenings to enjoy a cold beer and enjoy the view . WRONG . total con .. one foot in front was a 2 foot thick solid concrete wall . you could see the river if you stood up and looked to the side of big ugly building right in front … not to mention the noise UNBEARABLE ..the engine for the aicond on all the balconies .. tolerable for under 40 seconds .. this ruined our stay

The room was basically a studio apartment with a terrace. Really nice.

Nothing too bad just that outside of the building there's like a market so it's always smelly (but this is the city). The location is good and the area is safe too.
