Holiday Inn Bangkok Silom, an IHG Hotel

The location was good , the sky train was within an easy walking distance, also the pier was easy to walk to. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, always friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed, it was clean and beds were supper comfy. The breakfast was really good, excellent selection of freshly prepared food, variety was great, and the breakfast staff were always Refilling the items as they were running out. The pool was lovely. We totally enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely come back .

Rooms were spacious. Had a swim in the pool, which was super. Convenient location. Great street food 2 blocks down. Breakfast was a huge variety of foods from all over the world. Staff had great recommendations and were very helpful.

We could not get our loyal points from Holiday Inn (IHG) for booking here- apparently because it was through Booking.com Expensive bar.

The room was bright, it we clean, it was spacious with many amenities. the bathroom was tight but the pluses cancels that. The lobby was large and welcoming with copious seating. there are two computers in the lobby should guests need to use them. The staff were very welcoming and professional. Emirates airline houses their A380 crews there. The restaurant was spacious and clean and the breakfast buffet breakfast items were so delicious and varied that could easily be tempted to overeat. They could teach Starbucks a thing or two about making latte.

Bathroom was a bit tight but the space was put where the guest really spends the most time.

I thought the room was very comfortable and the air-conditioning was great Bed was excellent as was choice of pillows. Free bottles of water everyday were great too. The daily housekeeping was excellent. The breakfasts were exceptional with a fabulous choices every day. The staff were courteous and friendly with nothing too much trouble. Gluten free bread was available which was fantastic for me as I am coeliac. There was a buffet offered in the evening which was exceptional value. The pool was beautiful

I didn't like the fact that the photos shown on the booking showed the room to look far more luxurious than it was so initially I was disappointed upon arrival. I had to get over that to enjoy my stay which I did. Maybe not the best location but all depends on where you want to be. Toot toots and Grab are very cheap to get around. The bathroom is very small, and this was falsely shown in the photos although toiletries provided and clean.

Amazing staff, staff were exceptional with ensuring we were happy, and safe at all times. The rooms were spacious and super clean, house cleaning did an efficient job with ensuring the rooms were cleaned properly everyday. The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights of our trip as it had a variety of foods and a clean environment. The swimming pool was spacious and outdoor area was very relaxing as we spent most of our days by, staff members by the pool were very accomodating. Exceptional hotel will definitely recommend to family and friends, and definitely come back in the future.

The hotel stay was amazing, very courteous staff, very good breakfast buffet with lot of variety of foods, also lot of vegetarian food options including Indian Vegetarian, which was very thoughtful. Rooms were very clean and well maintained everyday. It was a great location in the heart of the city, 5 mins walk to the nearest Metro Train Station and lots of tuk tuks available just outside the hotel. I had a great time with my son on this trip!

Aircon control is a bit hard to understand, hope it could be made more intuitive. Housekeeping staff did not remove the wet foul smelling doormats in the toilet after the toilet was clogged (which I had requested for it to be repaired). Well, this was a bit unpleasant but overall, except for this one small incident, the stay was very comfortable and completely worth the money.

It was a stopover from Jaipur enroute to Kuala Lumpur. Arrived early at 5am and asked if room. as available immediately and was offered one at L27. Room was spacious and clean and bed was comfortable. Ordered room service and food was delicious. Travel desk was helpful and recommended dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya. Guided us to take the train to SIAM PARAGON and spent our afternoon there Even found the Four Seasons London restaurant to enjoy our favourite London duck noodles.

Rooms are spacious but a bit outdated.

Our room was great! From the minute We arrived we were treated like vips! I found upon checking out that my passport was missing & I totally freaked out.the hotel staff and the taxi the brought us from the airport both worked together by making multiple calls to the airport, our taxi driver also contacted the airport then he drove back to the airport when my passport was found to pick it us and returned it back to the hotel!! Amazing above and beyond service from the minute we arrived that carried on throughout our stay!! Super Comfortable beds, excellent room service, 2 bottles of drinking water daily. The highlight of our trip was the morning & evening buffet!! the choices were great! Large variety with American, Asian, & Indian food. The espresso machine was fantastic!! I loved when we found a seat by the window so we could watch the crazy traffic, cars, scooters, tuktuks, taxis all weaving in & out of traffic. Little kids of the scooters with parents! No helmet & bare feet!! craziness!! I had to go the Emergency room for severe pain during our stay and front desk called us a taxi and took us to an English speaking hospital nearby. our experience a Bangkok Christian Hospital was phenomenal & better than any experience I’ve ever had, far better than any American hospital I’ve ever been too. Makes me want to move to Thailand just for the hospital excellence!! The front desk people felt like family! there’s nothing they wouldn’t do for us! Love all the staff we encountered from front desk to the restaurant waiters and kitchen staff all top line in customer service.The porters at the hotel are fabulous anticipating everything we needed.Very professional and helpful!We were part of Gate 1 travel so the hotel felt to us like home! btw, the pool on the 7th floor was amazing!! Theres a 7-11 close by that has practically everything!

could have benefitted from a few more water bottles daily just because of how hot it is and it’s not safe to drink the water in Bangkok. it’s not near the BTS. but metered taxis relatively affordable.
