Furama Silom Hotel

Yes, I was glad that I have chosen and given the correct room that I have booked for I even forgot that The room I had booked in advance has an executive table and a comfortable chair and a balcony with a high floor level that I could view some part of the city with a welcome management letter, but I was quite disappointed that on my second morning during breakfast I was sitting at the same spot and table as on my first day morning breakfast had on problem with it. I was told that I could not sit at one of the Executive table that caused me to be embarrassed moment and told to change to an ordinary common sitting area and later got an apologize to allow to sit there again.

What I did not like was that there were separated table for different level of customers for VIP, Executive and for ordinary customers that show favouritism. If this is the case, situation and condition the management should setup barrier around those zone VIP tables with a bigger standing sign broad written at the barrier entry point instead of just a small table sign like menus card that is hard to notice it.

Room was a good size with comfy beds and plenty of space. The rooftop pool and bar area were very good. Location is excellent. Great for all travellers. There were older couples, young backpackers and families all staying there whilst we were. Would stay again next time I visit Thailand.

Location of the hotel was good, not far from BTS and away from the busy area of Silom, so it was quiet. Staff members are extremely friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was fantastic as they maintain tip top cleanliness and very helpful with my request. Hotel breakfast was basic but enough. Executive lounge was quiet, well-stocked with refreshment and clean.

The room is a little dated. It seems like it was refurbished but still very traditional (old) looking. Pool was really packed during peak hour in the evening. Other than being a little old hotel, I have no complains with the whole hotel.

No happy with the breakfast everyday the same

I liked room cleaners, they were polite and friendly. The view of the hotel was very nice. Breakfast was okay. The room was large. I can see many buildings. Especially, it looked very wonderful in the night time. The bath room was also comfortable. Receptionist was excellent. I also like a bellboy. He treated us very perfect.

I didn't like who picked up my calling when my wife called for checking reservation by hotel phone number. He talked to my wife very rude. The tone of voice was not so nice.

According to the photos it looks that this hotel has renovated and non renovated rooms. We got non renovated rooms. So the furniture, fridge and bathroom facilities are quite old. Good thing is that bed is very comfortable and the room is so specious, around 30m2, with seating area. Everything is very clean. As well location is great, very close to Lumpini park and river. And breakfast is great, with big choice of food.

Pretty good localization. Few shops just a step ahead. Pretty nice nigth market and temple nearby. Really good to start sightseeing Bangkok. Not so modern and crowded like other districts but it is really an advantage!

Just a little bit more clean rooms and etc. Beware of toilets - they are based in the room with transparent glass wall, you can use some blinds but doors are not closing well ;)

Well located hotel on Si Lom Road. Interesting bar on the roof top with pool and fascinating view over groupings of skyscrapers. Nice to watch the sky change from here in the late afternoon and evening. Pleasantly surprised by how big our room was. Comfortable too. Big bed. Easy to get to the centre by boat from one of the piers or by metro.

The card reader in the lift was a bit tricky to get the hang of but in the end it always worked.

Location. I have stayed here before, in Silom, and is central to the BTS & MRT and i know the area well

in my room (1711), the bathroom sink was a little clogged, so every time i washed my hands, or shaved, the sink would fill quickly.

The hotel is very well located in between Lumphini Park and Chao Phraya River. The rooftop pool is amazing and you can enjoy the beautiful city views from there, including the Mahanakhon Tower. Breakfast has a simple spread but it is good enough to start off the day.

When I first entered the room, there is a stuffy smell and was not too clean. But this is a small flaw and easily covered by the other amazing facilities this hotel has. The stuffy smell was also gone by the second day.
