Lovely place, looks remote but still close to the action. Clean facilities, lovely staff

Mosquitoes...and also the walls are THIN. We booked a private room and it makes me wonder what a "private" room means when you can hear everything from your neighbours. Not so private after all.

Loved the energy and helpfulness of the staff! Super clean hostel, lots of bathrooms, nice lounge area to hang out and meet people. Thankfully they arranged an early check-in and luggage storage while I was away. Comfortable beds with privacy curtain

Room (female dorm) is too small, was no space to keep my main luggage in the room, had to leave it in the hallway. Not so handy if you wake up and have to grab your clothes from hallway (beds have shelves and small locker though for your daily/small backpack). Because of the small room size also not possible to hang out in the room and chitchat with roomies (you likely meet them in lounge area). Room literally only for sleeping. I would recommend less beds in room and create more space for luggage within room instead. Other than that everything was great!

Pros: Very clean, had everything you need especially in the common area like washing facilities, breakfast bar, hangout space etc. Staff were super friendly! Helped book taxis to the airport and stored our bags Location has downsides, but it’s not far from Phaya Thai BTS and there’s a few 7-11s nearby Great value for what you get! They have two cute cats! Although they meow very loudly at night.

Cons: Hostel is basically made from metal shipping containers, so rooms get very hot in the day (but A/C is excellent) Private rooms are very small, basically just a box. Would have been great to at least have a mirror and/or a desk and maybe some extra space for storing stuff. Location is good during the day, but it is down a dead end alley so a) cars and bikes take a while to find it and reverse out and b) can feel a little dodgy walking at night Noise: right next to a train track so sometimes this can be noisy or shake your bed slightly but it isn’t often Bathrooms are shared, not en-suite so they can sometimes be busy and get very hot and humid. Also the bathrooms are separate male/female ones which is unusual but not an issue

I loved the no smoking policy, as I'm very asthmatic. Friendly staff. Very quiet hostel. I couldn't hear or and barely see any other guests. I like the cozy atmosphere, the all black theme, AC is good in the rooms, fast internet, nice common chill out areas and bathrooms. They are constantly cleaning it, so its spotless.

My husband would have liked a western breakfast options instead of asian options that were available: rice with porc sate, poridge with egg, pork rice porridge, soymilk and youtiau. He couldn't find any good western breakfast places within 800 meters of the hostel. Long walk to the train, especially if you carry luggage. Best to use Grab car or bike app.

Love this place, such a cool design, brilliant attention to detail and within a genuine local community. So close to the main shopping malls of Siam Discovery etc and the really cool Jim Thompson Art Centre. Stayed here 4 already; cant wait to come again.

Sad that they are doing oil pipe line construction work in front, as that meant the railroad side community got evicted, however lets see if they can replace it with something that's good for the community.

Very stylish, wonderfully little neighborhood, and incredibly kind and supportive staff. Kloem is my new favourite in Bangkok.

You need a scooter to really enjoy this location - which wasn’t a problem for me but is for others

The design of the building is wonderful with a sense of openness. The black painted wood walls and floors give a great atmosphere. The breakfast is excellent, although the menu is simple. I have stayed in more than 20 hostels in Bangkok and this is the best breakfast I have ever had. The local atmosphere around the hostel is hard to find in other hostels. The gap between the stylishness of the building and the hostel is fun. The quickest way to get to the hostel from BTS Phaya Thai is to walk along the railway line (there is no sidewalk, but you can walk.) Or you can go to Phaya Thai rd. Or you can enter soi Aram Si from Phaya Thai rd. and it is close to the narrow pathway.

When leaving early in the morning, it would be convenient to have a choice if breakfast is required or not, as we will not be able to make it in time for breakfast.

The house is beautiful. The staff is just awesome!!! Amazing ambiance with hammocks and different spots to chill. A little breakfast is included, we chose pork and rice which was great before a long walk. Also the area! It’s not a fancy one but this what makes you to get to know Bangkok better. It’s safe and you can eat all the street food without worrying for your stomach. Short walk to the bus to DM airport.

Our private room was facing a small street and railways, so we had all the noice that a street can provide. It’s not a big deal and trains don’t pass by that often, but keep in mind to bring your earplugs. All dormitories are away from the street so they should be fine

Staff was very friendly, nice backyard, price/value is good, plenti of space in the shared bathrooms, washing/drying machines available, breakfast is ok but options were limited to 3 and are more a snack

double room is quite small and walls are thin, so it gets hot and you hear the neighbours, AC is then to powerfull for the small room. Hostel is quite remote and the street leading to it is quite dark and definetly no posh area, but we never had any trouble at night There is no luggage room, so if you arrive early your stuff is just in the common area

everything was totally exciting and clean - the staff is absolutely friendly -hand maids are cleaning everything non stop -breakfasts are fine -24 hours available to eat food provided by the Hostel -rooms are cozy and small -bathrooms are excellent and super tidy -you can stay there more than a week you’ll definitely like it -location is perfect (food surrounds you in a minute walk) -wifi is excellent -girls and boys from the staff you are amazing 😻
