The Victory Residences Bangkok - SHA Extra Plus Certified

The room has three single beds which was perfect. There's a dressing table, hair dryer, coffee station (no tea), complimentary mineral water, a dining table/desk, wardrobe with plenty of space, toiletteries. Breakfast was sufficient with Thai cuisines, fried eggs and toasts with jams. Filtered coffee (not instant!). Checking in was easy too. There are sofas at the lobby for waiting. Bathroom with a bathtub. Location is great, about 350m to Victory Monument Plaza where you can find bargains from the popup shops and good food from the foodcourt. The plaza is next to the BTS. From here only only 4 stops to Siam BTS. There's also a pop up food market in the evening; one around the corner of the plaza, withJapanese style is very popular with the young crowd.

The bathroom is rather small and the area around the bathtub is badly design. water tends to flood the floor due to sprays from the shower goes onto the sides of the bathtub and flow down to the floor. Our bath mat became drench. Decor/furnishing is rather dated with towels looked tired. Room could be better designed as the table is rather squashed in the corner. It would be difficult to use it as a desk for working as it is.

I have been coming to the Victory Residences Hotel for many years. It is an excellent location with access to the SkyTrain, to the Airport train, and to buses by the Victory Monument. This means easy access to Bangkok. It’s a reliable place to stay, it is staffed with friendly and helpful people, and the cost is reasonable.

Prior to Covid the breakfast was a lot better than it is now. ‘Had two breakfasts after arriving in Bangkok end of May, decided not to have the breakfast afterwards.

Location was fantastic. It was near the Victory Monument, a mall, BTS station and restaurants. Very convenient as a base to may places in Bangkok. Pool at the rooftop was great. There were towels available by the pool. Unfortunately the buildings beside it was much taller so the views were blocked. The shower area near the pool could also be improved. Room was decent. Large and the beds were comfortable. Self service laundry machines were fantastic.

Staff were lukewarm. Facilities are a bit dated. The street in front of the hotel is a bit narrow, so please take care when you are walking on that street. The lobby is also not air- conditioned, and can rather warm when we were in the middle of summer. It was a bit pricey compared to other hotels of similar quality in Bangkok.

The location was incredible. A whole street food market and the BTS were within a 5 minute walk from our hotel. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. There was a table to work and eat at, a TV, and also a bathtub, which was very welcome after using showers for so long. There is also a large fridge and not one but TWO seven eleven opposite the hotel, so we were able to stock up on snacks, tea, coffee, breakfast, etc, for a very affordable price. Also, I enjoyed the use of a gym, with weights, exercise machines, and aircon in a separate area next door to the hotel.

The only issue I had was that only the 2 running machines in the gym worked. There are 2 crosstrainers and 4 cycling machines, none of which had cables to plug in. However, the running machines and weights are all fully functional, and there were towels left in the gym, which was also very pleasant.

We started out backpacking journey from here and didn't spend that much time at the hotel. The time we spent was the breakfast and we hung around at the rooftop pool for an hour. Breakfast wasn't anything special but worked quite well for us. The rooftop pool was very nice. The room was very big, a lot of unnecessary space for us actually. :) We had a reservation for 2 days. We had reserved the room a day too early. This was however no problem and we could extend the stay for one day without any extra cost. We just had to check-in after 14 the day we came. You can leave your luggage at the hotel reception lobby if you come a bit early like we did. You can come to the hotel very easily from the airport by the skytrain. Also, the Green skytrain line goes just past the hotel. For us, most of the places we wandered during the evenings were quite far from the hotel and we had to take a taxi or tuktuk back, but I think that is kinda normal. All in all, worked very well for us and we are very glad that the mistake we made with the reservation was handled without any problems.

Breakfast could have been better. View was a wall in the 5th floor, so not optimal if you are after the panoramic landscape. :)

I went their bringing my family. I like those front staff are so helpful and so nice since our first arrived, its give us such a good impression. Our room is so big enough to open all the luggage and packed stuff into it. Have a bathtub inside the room, also there’s laundry which I’ve changed the coin from front desk in order to use it. Its only 3 mins walk to 7 eleven, can get public transport at that street also. Overall is good, definitely will visit again.

The aircon doesn’t really work well, this few days was so hot in Bangkok but still sweating even though aircon is on while sleeping, the aircon is kinda sometimes work well sometimes

I like the location, it’s very near bts victory station, victory movie plaza where it is surrounded by street foods and the mall itself caters lots of restaurants & shop, from fast food, thai food, japanese food. Coffee shop & convenience store are also within the area. Facilities like laundry area where you can wash you clothes 24 hrs. The staffs are very accomodating & approachable. From the staff outside, to lobby, upto the staff cleaning the room. I highly recommend this hotel. If your taking airport link & not much luggage with you, you can walk from the last station (Phayathai) to the hotel (use map).

Everything perfect, location perfect to sky train to and from airport 80Bhat one way. 15 minutes walk to Platinum Fashion if you really like walking 25 minutes to Central shopping mall Very close to King power duty free . Supermarkets Street foods central mall one open kitchen style restaurants all with in two minutes walking, victory square 5 mins walk. Gym is perfect sauna and steam fantastic pool on the roof with city views. I advise every one to book breakfast every morning white sticky rice vegetables and chicken meals they change every day omelette station (plain only) fried eggs chicken sausage,breads jams fresh milk and juice, fruit dragon fruit and pineapple, fresh green salads, tea and coffee just black no fancy coffee/cappuccino maker it's a mini buffet breakfast, for the price it's healthy and keeps you going till 4pm easy. The hotel has gone to extreme lengths with sanitisation, please cut the staff some slack if there's a slight problem there just getting back on there feet from two years of no tourists they are really giving it 100.

Only down side for me personally was there was no Lunch and dinner options at the hotel only breakfast.

Always stay here when in Bangkok ..... which is a recommendation in itself. Room , bed and bathroom are comfortable... but sometimes a bit tired looking . Dining room and breakfast excellent... lots of choice. Roof swimming pool is great with plenty of loungers table and chairs. Location is excellent and near to the sky rail.

Location is quite good. Walking distance to BTS (Victory monument and Phaya Thai) and ARL station (Phaya Thai) Rooms are big and clean. Furniture are are made from solid wood. Plenty of cloth hangers provided

Front desks in general are not friendly. During our check out, Even we were standing in front of her, she didn't even look at us, continue on her phone for few minutes. Talking to guests also without smiling. Anyway the bell boy was great, helpful and polite. Kitchen can provide more utensils.
