We really enjoyed breakfast and the location of the property. The best quality of the stay was the staff! Everyone we met was friendly, helpful and they always take time to chat with you and share recs for what to do. We didnt get to know all their names except Emi (not sure how to spell the name), but all the guys are great! I highly recommend it!

What we didn't like was not really up to the hotel but more of an external factor. The area where the hotel is located is very touristic (which we usually dont mind when we travel), but here the people around are obsessively trying to sell their product or recruit you into their restaurant to a point where it's getting a bit much. Again, it's not really up to the hotel and as we moved around a lot and only stayed here to sleep and eat breakfast, we think it's a great place to stay in.

Excellent location, 3 min on foot to Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque, 5 mins to Grand Bazaar and 15 mins to Suleymaniye Mosque. T1 tram line very close, so you can get over the Golden Horn to Karakoy and its cafes and sites in no time at all. Very convenient to just walk on foot through the old city, plethora of places to eat or to have a coffee or a tea. Personnel is extremely friendly and helpful. Ask them anything, and they will help you around the city, with the transfers or literally everything. It was our second stay in the hotel and it will definitely not be our last :) Natali cooks very good breakfasts; they are served in the lobby during the cold season and on the roof during summer. Both options are nice, and the food tastes like home-made. They don't serve dinner in the Albatros Hotel, so we recommend the 'Sefa restorant', 3 mins up the street - great quality, fresh food and no exorbitant prices :)

Perfect location with most attractions within walking distance. Good value for money. Very clean. Excellent customer service. My special thanks to Kamuran (Manager), Dimitri, Zahra, Amira and Rajhat. All of them went an extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Very comfortable bed. Very good breakfast. The Manager was very kind to arrange coffee for us at 6:00 am as we had an early flight out of Istanbul.

It's a hotel with a bare minimum, very basic. The room was too small. Hardly any space to move around. Missed having a working desk. There was no place to keep our suitcases. Bathroom/toilet very small with a tiny shower area.

This is the second time we stayed in this hotel. The location of the hotel is exceptional and is walking distance from landmarks like Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Sarayi, Basilca Cistern and Blue mosque. Similarly Grand bazar and Spice bazar are 15-20 minutes by walk. You can also walk to the SirKeci area to eat and you can also walk further to Eminonu area. The Albatros Hagia Sophia Hotel rooms, breakfast and staff are very good. The cleaning in the rooms and toilet was prefect.

We stayed in room 412 this time, the view from the window was not very good due to the adjacent tall building. But the room had all the facilities like TV, WiFi, A/C /Heater, Beds and toiletries. Due to some reasons the hotel was not able to validate my debit card that I always use for Booking.com. So I called the hotel and they kept my booking. My card worked when I visited the hotel. This also happened with me last year, so I suggest the management of Albatros Hagia Sophia Hotel should check with Booking.com for this issue. The good thing was that Albatros Hagia Sophia Hotel kept my booking until I came physically to the hotel and used my debit card.

The hotel staff was very good and helpful. The hotel is located at an excellent spot few minutes away from Ayasofia and Blue Mosque. It has very easy access to the public transport.

There is nothing that I would say was not good. The only thing I would say was for some strange reasons this hotel was sending me messages via Booking.com that my credit card was wrong. But there was nothing wrong with my my credit card and it worked when I was at the hotel.

The location was great, staff were super nice mainly Othman and the general manager. The breakfast was really nice and testy.

The hotel is located near to all main Istanbul attractions. The view from the terrace is amazingly 360, however during our stay the terrace is under renovation but accessible for viewing. The staffs are helpful to ready to assist with all your luggage. In case your flight is afternoon (after the check-out), they have luggage store next to the reception and you can store your luggage while roaming around.

The room toilet (3 bedroom) is glass and not lockable & this troublesome for those travelling with small group.

Nice and helpful staff (as usual in Turkiye) very close to main historical places and nice shops with carpets etc... Coffee and tea always served in the lobby.

Perhaps the selection of food at the breakfast could be a little larger. Also, the terrace on top was closed as probably it is still out of season (18-22 Feb)

Location is excellent, walking distante of mais attractions and good restaurants. The oroom is not huge but big enough. Breakfast simple. We asked for transfers to/from the airport and it worked perfectly.

We asked for a Bosphorus tour that did not work well. We had to go to the ship with another group just to leave it and go looking for táxis. Tem the guide left us waiting at tje Domabasce Palace for amistoso 20 minutes because she forgot tô pay the enttrance.

Superb location and extremely friendly and polite staff. It's in the centre and near to major tourist attractions as it possibly could be. The staff is there to help you if you ask for it for anything, i really loved being there guests.

Breakfast could be better, I'd love it if there were croissants.
