Excellent location, all the main tourist destinations are within walking distance. Staff were friendly and rooms were nice. Stunning roof terrace view! Overall good value for money and I would stay here again.

The only negative was that the AC in one of our rooms didn’t work properly. We had a room on the 6th floor and one on the 3rd. Despite both ACs being at the same temperature there was a stark difference in how cold the rooms were. My parents stayed on the 3rd floor and found it difficult to sleep the first 2 nights, we did bring this up at reception after the first night but were told that after checking it there wasn’t a problem. The AC did seem to get colder as the week went on, however, when you compare both rooms there was definitely still a huge difference in how cool the 6th floor was compared to the 3rd. This was the only negative about our stay, everything else was great.

The location of this hotel is awesome. It is a 5 minute walk from the Hagia Sophia and the Sultanahmet Masjid, and so many restaurants from McDonalds to high end Turkish restaurants. There are also mini-markets where you can buy things like water quite cheaply just down the road. This hotel is in a quiet cobbled road where no traffic passes through due to cars parked which blocks access. It is therefore quiet even though you are stone's throw away from the city centre. However, our taxi's weren't keen on entering the street and would often drop us off at the entrance of the road, but it really didn't matter for us as they helped with luggage. Not suitable for wheelchair users though as the reception requires going down stairs. The breakfast was adequate, I ate mostly toast, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and yoghurt. There were also cereals, cheese, Turkish food, wedges and other options. Tea and coffee were available. Breakfast is on the top floor and you get a wonderful view if you go up the extra steps to the roof. We took the family suite which has one double bed and two single beds. The suit has two rooms and one bathroom between the room as per the pictures. I believe they only have one of these so book early to avoid having to take the triple rooms. I thought the room was big enough for us, we had 7 suitcases and 3 bags and everyone had enough space. Bathroom was always cleaned well and water temperature and pressure was good. The family suite is just below the breakfast place so we only had to go up the stairs to get to breakfast. I was impressed how clean this place was and the cleaners were very good at coming in to clean when you hang the notice on the door. You only get one set of coffee, tea when you get the room but to be honest, we did not stay in hotel enough to actually need this and those mini-markets would stock things if you need it anyway.

Iron and ironing board can take time getting to your room due to people not being considerate about sharing it. I would use it then put it outside my room after informing the reception. Tip: order irons the day before or well in advance, iron everything in one go and hang it all up in the wardrobes.

Excellent location (close to the main tourist attractions in Sultanahmet), lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, friendly and helpful staff, decent selection of breakfast items. Sultanahmet tram/metro station is only a few mins walk from the hotel.

Rooms were a bit too small, so you do feel suffocated if you stay inside for too long. If you have medium or big size suitcases/luggage, you'll struggle to walk around freely in the room.

This hotel is perfect. Staff were very friendly, kind and approachable, and gave our stay a personal touch. We found our room small, but the manager was very friendly and gave us a complimentary upgrade, in which he personally gave me a tour of our new room. The rooms were clean, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Special shout out to Ersin and Mustafa, who kept us company and looked after us very well, providing us with free Turkish çay every night. They we're kind, hospitable, warm and welcoming. The staff also accommodated us and saved us the cost and trouble of purchasing a metro card, by giving us their own metro card to top up and use in our trip. The hotel is located in a very nice location with easy access to Hagia Sophia Square and Sultanahmet tram station. There are lots of food options and lots of shops nearby. It’s in a quieter street which really gives you a very nice feel of traditional Turkish life, while also giving you easy access to the urban hub, just 2 minutes walk away. The furnishing of the rooms is very posh, and has a nice mix of modern and traditional, and I would highly recommend this hotel to any9ne visiting this side of Istanbul, without a doubt.

really close to the attractions and walking distance to everywhere and the tram only behind the hotel. the star of this hotel is Mr Sinan.Really polite and always smile and helpful.Really amazing young man.Keep up the good work! the hotel with the connecting room is on the basement so a bit awkward but only for few days so we get use to it,luckily the other room have a window. quite a new hotel and the breakfast is nice and simple.but the view is the best at the rooftop.

Staff, location, rooftop, breakfast terrace. The staff were all so lovely, friendly and polite. More importantly they could speak English which is quite rare in Turkey where even airport staff can't speak good English. I would like to thank Anil, Shursh, Nazir, Cem and Ersin and a special thank you to Nummn who was so so kind and helpful. Also the lady who served breakfast that I didn't get the chance to talk to. location is just great. Just being in Sultanahmet made a huge difference in our Istanbul experience. The restaurant with red sofas are quite touristy and expensive but we loved the atmosphere so much we kept going back. La Tapas was in particular a great restaurant and the staff were the kindest.

Location is within walking distance of most of the famous attractions in Byzantine Istanbul, eg 1 minute to famous Turkish bath; 4 minutes to hagia Sophia church; 7 minutes to Grand Bazaar. That location is important because the road traffic congestion is appalling: even taxis dread going there. You can avoid all that by staying at this hotel and walking. Very appealing Turkish atmosphere in hotel, not like American-style hotels where you are not sure what country you are in because they all look the same.

A lovely welcome on arrival with complimentary Turkish Delight and tea at Reception before being shown to our room. The room and bathroom were spacious and had everything we needed for a short stay. The location was excellent, in the heart of Sultanahmet and close to The Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. The reception staff recommended local places to eat and visit. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was an added bonus.

Our room was below reception and didn’t have a view.

We were extremely pleased with the hotel facilities! Very happy to have stayed there for our trip. The staff were so attentive from the moment we arrived and so helpful when we had queries about best routes to see the sights. The location was perfect for sightseeing and so close to the local tram station that can take you further into the city. The location of the hotel was great for local food restaurants and shisha lounges, we found ourselves visiting Sirevi Restaurant just around the corner almost every night of our trip.

The only thing I can complain about is I wish the hotel terrace was open for longer! The view is simply stunning and would have loved to seen a Istanbul sunrise there as the sunsets were so beautiful.

Right next to Hagia Sofia and Blue mosque and tram station. Staff were welcoming and accommodating. lovely big rooms and the bathroom was nice an clean with good water pressure.
