Good size room for twin bedroom & staffs are professional as well as providing best customer service- the area is safe as there are police patrolling around area all the time! me and a friend (female) was so comfortable to go around area and further at evening/night, they are friendly and lovely people, shout-out to receptionist (this morning) who literally sorted taxi out for us to airport and made sure taxi guy was giving discounts & taking us the faster way to airport. if it wasn’t for receptionist and care taker, we would have slept in! as they woken us up and made sure taxi (he waited for us for an hour!) was available for us to go due to us being one hour late from scheduled time!

Spa was closed & breakfast was down the road in another building due to covid restrictions.

for the value of cost charged the property is great. it is so centrally located you can walk to most places or catch public transport. The staff there are very helpful even though you can’t speak Turkish they will go out of the way to help. they don’t expect any tips in return they are very genuine. It even has a spa facility and breakfast is OK it does the job get omelettes everyday selection of other items including cereal. I cannot reiterate how good the staff and hotel is for the cost.

nothing to dislike considering the cost you pay. if you expect a 5 star then book a five star not here come with open mind as place is great.

The manager and the kitchen woman were very attentive to our needs and requests! Nice terrace with a view over the Marmara Sea. Breakfast is varied, but finishing at 10am is a bit early for me... it was vacation for us! Pool, Sauna and Hammam were anextra plus after a visiting day!

It is not possible to have full peacefulness in the room; all rooms surrounds the elevator, and there is always those none caring people thinking that they are alone in the place!

I did not expect the staff to be this helpful and willing to go out their way to please the guests. Not a single member of staff failed to smile and engage, even those who could barely speak English were translating on their devices and providing solutions. Every single staff member was just awesome.

The staff were friendly, tactful and respecting, knowing their boundaries, and generously responding to any enquiry, guidance, and needs, e.g. transport, bookings, etc. thanks to them Cleaners were very diligent, with reference to specific lady cleaner (called Shukran), very sweet, who always made our room delightful. Sea view from our room was so charming that we are not cut from the city's charm when we're indoors. The breakfast provides a variety of nice things. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, also may re-book it in any future journey .

I liked the fact they ( especially the manager) take complaints seriously an work on it . great hotel , clean , my room was cleaned everyday . stuff is kind nice and always ready for help . will definitely go back there . awesome location and kuddo to the manager he is a true deal

Booked this hotel for one night in Istanbul before going to my main destination; it was ok. I struggled a bit with finding it as there is main building with hotel (where you will have breakfast which was very good btw and included in price of the room) and the hotel where I had a room was 3min walking distance but in another building and I missed it few times as there are too many shops around. Room was very nice and cozy, I booked one with a balcony and had a street view. Room had everything traveller might need - bed, desk, mirror, wardrobe; in addition there was kettle and some teabags and coffee along with a bottle of water. Bathroom with all amenities - all as usual. Nice place for a one-night stay.

Upon checkin I gave to receptionist my passport which he either forgot to give me back or it's hotel's policy to keep passport - mentioning it because next day when I was on my way to the airport I realized that my passport is at the hotel and had to come back (which was quite not good as the road to new airport takes time and Istanbul traffic is immense). So don't forget to take your documents back :)

staff was absolutely amazing very friendly staff. Hotel was very clean the location was excellent it was near the underground and tram which ment we had access to everywhere easily Thank you so much Darkman Hotel we had a lovely stay and will 100% come back

the breakfast was ok but can slightly improve in my opinion
