Hotel Venera

I enjoy my stay in Venera Hotel because the building is comfortable and above all, the staff is polite and diligent. Especially,Cansu,Bulent and Kadir. They helped me every time I need it. The room is elegantly decorated, the sheets and towels white and the bathroom impecable clean. The maid was always polite and helpful. Everything was in its place. Besides, my room has a beautiful view of the sea. The restaurant has a superb view and the food is delicious. Thank you so much for your warm treatment.

There was lots of choice for breakfast and the service was fantastic. Very friendly staff who bent over backwards for you!

The only disappointment we had was the swimming pool. We chose the hotel because it had a swimming pool but when we saw it, it was very small and my children didn't feel comfortable using it as the staff were sat right next to it and you couldn't swim in it.

The location is excellent, very convenient for the first time tourist experience in Istanbul, in the heart of the Old City. All main touristic atractions are close, as well as tram and metro station Vezneciler. Hotel is very nice, clean and cozy with great rooftop. Rooms are very comfortable. The stuff are lovely, very nice to the guests with great service. Breakfast is excellent with a nice variety of food, as well as the menu if you want to pay other meal. Interesting bar with lovely waiters :)

Windows should be opened in the maximum capacity for the fresh air. :)

A very trendy hotel, great location to metro and the tourist area. Every one is hospitable from the lobby, front reception, breakfast crew and their spa team. A fantastic view from their top roof restaurant with good breakfast but even more an amazing spa facility. Their Sauna, Steam, Turkish Ham-am is awesome and the crew is professional. They have a great spa manager Memet Ali who has been very helpful with the spa and recommending great spots to visit. I would stay there again!

The location is excellent and very safe! It is a shopping center and Metro very near to travel anywhere you want! What I really like are the staff of Hotel Venera! For me they are the Heart ♥ of Veneta Hotel. Mrs Cancan and her Team( Ali, Kadir, Bulent etc) make you feel really at home. They are all keen take your stay enjoyable and comfortable! The breakfast is also lovely! Mr. Ali the cook 🍳 makes you wonderful omelet with a lot of nice surprises! Everyone loves Ali ♥ I personally recommend this wonderful family like Hotel Venera to everyone who wants to enjoy his stay in. Istanbul with a lovely memory! I personally Welcome You all to Hotel Venera!!!

I didn't like the SPA because the prices were too high! The most expensive package compared with other hotels with the same SPA Packages in the neighborhood was 180 USD at the Hotel Venera! By other hotels the same SPA Packages 75 USD! And if you negotiate you get it for 50 USD !

Location is good since it’s close to all public transportation and main attractions. Tho be ready it’s among million of little stores with clothes. Not that many restaurants in walking distance and they close quite early. The personnel was very helpful. Food for breakfast is ok. Don’t understand complaints abt the variety and taste. It’s their way they cook, like it or not )) Eggs and bread are always there 👌 Rooms are new, very clean!

There’s no iron available for guests (please buy one 😌) Swimming pool is more for sauna perposes and you need swimming cap (available to buy there). The fridge didn’t work as well as ac in one of the rooms, but one was enough for us (2 bedrooms).

Reception staff were welcoming and friendly. Beds were comfortable with clean sheets. Our room was very large and had 3 beds but nice, clean and very quiet. (I had asked for a quiet room & got one). Breakfast was adequate, acceptable and plentiful. Restaurant/bar on 8th floor had a beautiful view. Tourist attractions like Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi were 20 mints away. Good value for money. Did not try the spa or indoor pool.

Maybe location. A bit crowded during the day but quiet at night. Middel of retail clothing industry. Aksaray and Ordu street are close by and busy… but this is Istanbul.

Excellent location for a tourist visit - a short walk to the train station and to the trams, and walkable to the Old Town in about 35 minutes. Great view of the sea from the 8th floor restaurant. And the restaurant had a good choice of meals, the cost was reasonable and the waiters were efficient and helpful.

Our room was too small and it overlooked the street so it was noisy. The shower room could do with being updated. The system of making up and cleaning the room seemed disorganised and erratic, one day not done until late afternoon (although we had been out all day) and other days the cleaner seemed to be in and out several times rather than doing everything at one time.

The property was very clean, well presented with spacious rooms. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, and items of maintenance attended to promptly (bathrooms fan). Location was superb with all the great historic sites are within a 20-30 minute walking distance or a very short tram ride away. The metro station was also very close by and useful for getting to further afield locations. Great terrace restaurant with excellent food.

No iron available to borrow, although ironing could be arranged for a charge. The swimming pool was more like a plunge pool and very small, although would be fine for kids to have fun.

I liked the cleanliness in the whole facility, to be honest its superb. Breakfast is fine, restaurant team is friendly and very respectful, welcoming you with a smile in the morning

The fact that the hotel doesn’t have a parking And its not mentioned anywhere that the neighborhood where the hotel takes a place closes by police from 10am-9pm everyday. Its even impossible to park your car anywhere near to the hotel The nearest was 1.4 KM walk. We where on the 7th floor and the restaurant is directly above us, at the night you keep hearing the chairs moving until the restaurant closes.
