A little gem of a hotel in a fantastic city. The room itself is very cosy and the breakfast area situated on the top floor offers brilliant views of the city. I was there for three nights and the breakfast was different every day with a wide and varied choice. The tram stop is just around the corner and the metro only a couple of minutes walk away. What made this place so special for me though was the staff. I have traveled about Europe quite extensively but the staff at the Meretto are easily the best i have encountered. Nothing was a problem to them. Every morning i was given directions for anywhere i wanted to go . On the first morning i was walked to the tram stop and shown how to buy my ticket. On the last night i was sent a plate of fruit to the room and on my last morning they even printed off my boarding passes for my flight home. So thank you Khurshid (Sunny), Shahin and all the staff for a brilliant stay and if i am ever back in your amazing city i will not hesitate to stay here again.

It was my first visit to Meretto Laleli Istanbul we stayed there and we were very satisfied, I was not disappointed at all. The hotel is close to all the famous places in istanbul that you can visit, it is also close to metro, tram and bus stations. Nothing to say about the location. The breakfast was very delicious. The rooms were clean, very comfortable and all the staff were kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. The service was also outstanding. I had a wonderful experience at Meretto Laleli. All of the staff I encountered, from the valet to check-in to the cleaning staff, were lovely and eager to help! Thank you guys! And a special thanks to the staff at night shift they were more than amazing !! I will definetely come back and recommend this hotel to my friends and colleagues.

I had a great pleasure staying at this hotel. - Safety: as a solo woman traveller I felt safe throughout my stay at this hotel, also there's a good safe in the room. - Personnel: very friendly, helpful, trustworthy, quickly sorted my additional requests and kindly answered my questions about the city. - Cleanliness: exceptional. I stayed at many different hotels and here I was pleasantly surprised. Room cleaning is every day, but if you ask they won't bother you. - Room condition: amazing - all the furniture is new and in a good shape, well styled, great bathroom. - Breakfast: great, very big choice - a lot of different salads, fruits, including delicious watermelon, cereals, hot dishes, different kinds of cheese, coffee, Turkish tea, pastry, desserts. Breakfast is served on a beautiful rooftop terrace, where you can also come any time. - Location: very easy to get to the historical center by foot or by tram. A lot of nice restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood. Easy to get to from the IST airport - there's a cheap bus that goes to Aksaray bus stop and you can walk 10 min to the hotel. - Strong air conditioner, it was never hot in the room even when outside it was boiling. - Fast reliable WiFi. - A fridge, a kettle and tea, coffee and bottled water daily supply were a great addition. I'd definitely stay there again!

I've been to 56 countries and Teir3 on this app, so it's safe to say I know a good hotel when I see one. And this is a great hotel. First off, the staff are just amazing. Super friendly, helpful and always greet you with a smile. Room: Bed and pillows very comfortable, room spotless clean, Aircon great, WiFi great speed, shower very powerful and right temp and bathroom even had heated flooring. Plus all the free extras you may need. Windows can open wide to let in fresh air if needed. Breakfast: Free! And so much choice and great tasting. Also on 7th floor so you have a view of the city as you eat. Location: Perfect. Hotel is surrounded by great restaurants, fashion shops and mini markets so you never far from what you need. Right in perfect location to start exploring Istanbul. Transport: There is a tram station (Askaray) a few minutes walk away that takes you right to main tourist stops like the Blue Mosque, Ava Sophie etc and Dolmabahce palace (last stop) there is also a metro stop (Yenikapi) about 10 mins walk that can link you nearly anywhere you need to visit. To get to the hotel cheap and easy, I got the Havasit bus from Istanbul airport 52l (about 45mins and it's on the bottom floor of airport) it takes you to Takism square. From there buy a Istanbulkart (35l plus top up at the yellow machines using bank notes) From there take the metro to Yenikapi. Then change and get metro to Aksaray. Then just a few minutes walk. My first time in Istanbul and I will definitely be back and intend to stay here again.

The location at walking distance from aksaray tram station or yenikapi metro, the cleanliness of the rooms and the premises, the confortable beds, the breakfast is good with variations everyday, and also the fact that the manager is available all the time. At the end, they organised our transfer to the airport which was a big relief. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

First of all, the advantage is that the employees are very kind. Trams or subway stations are convenient within 5 minutes. The sunset on the terrace is good, and there is a supermarket nearby, so it is convenient to use. It's very cost-effective

Everything was as great as it could be: the hotel stuff is really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing, the room was spacious and clean. Although I have booked a standard room, the hotel offered a bigger room with one extra bed. Also, at the time when I have booked the room it was mentioned that the breakfast is not included, but once we arrived the administrator informed us that all guests receive breakfast by default with no extra cost!

The area where the hotel is located is really agglomerated, and it is sometimes noisy at night, but it is less of a problem when the balcony door is closed.

the most important is the friendly staff & I’d like to specifically mention: Shahin, Taher & Sabier for their extremely friendly manner in dealing, advices & being so much co-operative.

just a notice that: there is another nearby “meretto hotel“ that I lost my way to Laleli to go to it in a rainy night ( my mob was dead) & it took me around 15 min. after walking around in rain without GPS so my advice to search for Meretto Laleli not just Meretto hotel 😊

The hotel was very well organized. They offered daily breakfast since 7.30 am. It included a variety of cheese, meat, eggs, salads, vegetables, fruits and desserts. It also included coffee, juice, water and tea. Breakfast was always fresh, table tops were always clean and spaced out with a view overlooking Istanbul. The staff were always friendly and ready to help. One time, they offered free breakfast to our guest. They also weighed our luggage before we left to the airport. Reception was available to help and answer questions 24 hours a day. Our room overlooked popular Istanbul views from afar. We loved the ambiance and colors of the sheets and curtains. Cleanliness was excellent. There was a fridge, water kettle, heated mug containers, tea and coffee with sugar, two comfortable chairs for afternoon tea. The beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was supplied with multiple rolls of toilet paper, toiletries, clean towels changed daily and hair dryer. The location was near Aksaray Tram (5 min) and Yenikapi metro (5 min). It was also near numerous shopping outlets as well as fast food restaurants. Big thanks to Orhan and all the staff for their efforts and hospitality in making this place feel like a 5 star hotel.

There was a café nearby with very loud music, especially at night. It was less noticeable when we closed the doors/windows. The area around the hotel is poorly lit and loud at night, which made the return at night uncomfortable. The air conditioning was central set at 20 degrees Celsius and we couldn’t adjust it. There was no trash can inside our room, only in the toilet. There was only one charging electric outlet near the bed in our room, the others were not near the nightstands.

It is amazing, comfortable hotel, right next to the tramvay and the metro station. Very friendly, positive, helpful stuff, wounderful breakfast, clear room. Turkish, Russian and English launguages are accaptable, so no problem with communication. Personal thanks to Orhan bey, Recrption guy, bell boy and offcouse the cleaner ladies.
