Rixos Pera Istanbul

Everything was amazing as usual. Thats the best location to stay in a silent room and at the same time be in the heart of Istanbul. Rooms are very clean and well equipped. Especially bed is super comfortable. Special thanks for Emre, Ugurcan, Dogukan and Sevde for their hospitality and interest.

The property boasts a fantastic location just a short walk from the renowned Istiklal Street. The spa is excellent, and experiencing the Hamam is highly recommended. Additionally, the salon offers reasonable prices for services like blow drying. The rooms are clean, the internet is fast, and the breakfast is delightful.

Staff and Location really exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by Emre Can who checked us in and was super kind and attentive throughout our stay. As a general comment, all the staff at this hotel genuinely care about your stay and nothing would be too much of an ask for them. We were generally happy with our room and stay so didn't require any assistance on this. Melisa who works on the Guest Relations counter was really helpful when it came to arranging a Taxi for our Airport transfer, which is a really big bonus given the reputation Tax drivers have in Istanbul. We also had assistance with helping us arrange reservations for our evenings out which was very helpful. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Istanbul & I look forward to returning myself

Staff were so caring and friendly, specially hotel manager Mr. ALI and the breakfast staff, Melika and Aziz. Clean room with great view, wonderful location and service

We booked a queen bed but got two twins attached together which was abit uncomfortable since the mattresses were too soft, but I can imagine moving a big mattress is also difficult. Not enough lights in the room, since we were travelling with a baby and sometimes needed more light in the room. Hotel building is very old and the lifts were not working properly but the manager handled everything kindly.

Rixos Pera is our default hotel for Istanbul. The staff are really great, very friendly and informative. The location is fantastic, with an array of shops, restaurants, istiklal street, pubs all within walking distance. There is a metro not too far and also on a bus route. The hotel itself is charming and has a wonderful 1920's nostalgic feel to it. The breakfast is rooftop, with a gorgeous view of the horn. The selection of food is wide and caters for many needs, you can request items that might not be readily available such as juice and omelettes or eggs cooked to your needs. The rooms are comfortable, the bed is large and cosy. We had a room facing the rear this time and we much preferred it due it being quieter. There is a mini bar in the fridge but also a small tuck shop right across the hotel for quick snacks which is open 24 hours! The adjoining restaurant makes excellent food, very reasonably priced but almost always busy so make a reservation.

This time around there seemed to be an issue with WiFi and this also meant that the TV was not working. Whilst staying at another hotel, we were provided with a means to connect our own netflix to the TV - this is something that I would highly recommend the hotel to invest in. It would not cost a lot but the experience would make it fantastic.

Amazing staff, always happy to help. Great recommendations for restaurants and ideas on what to do in town. The location is excellent. A few minutes walk from the 'tunnel' and the train station, and a 20-minute walk to the Museum of Modern Art and the surrounding seafront full of shops and cafes. A short hop from the pedestrian street to Taksim Square with great food for all budgets just a few minutes away on foot. The hotel offers a 'pillow menu', worth trying a few.

The breakfast coffee. Don't bother ordering anything else from Turkish coffee if coffee is what you want. Any other order you place is instant Nescafe in various densities and quantities. Housekeeping missed a floor towel once and didn't replenish toilet paper. We usually have a roll on the wall and one spare. We had a third of a roll to last for 5 days; no spare. Our room had a Nespresso machine. If you have Nespresso pods at home, bring some with you as the pods on offer go for about 175TL each (around €5 each pod!).

Location is perfect as It is just a short walk from İstiklâl Caddesi, near the Galataport Istanbul and many good restaurants. The room was not large, but it was clean. And the breakfast was extraordinary with a large variety of fresh fruits, breads, cheeses and meats, fish balls, fried potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, waffles and more.

We changed room three times. In our first room the drain was not working. Our second room was flooded during the rain because of poorly adjusted doors. Our third room had big problems with windows which didn't close properly and outside noise wasn't eliminated. Nespresso capsules are chargeable, it was a real surprise which you don’t expect from the 5 stars hotel. I have stayed in different Rixos hotels and have not seen this before.
