The location is great, 1 minute from isteklal The room is very good and cozy with a nice and comfortable bed The breakfast is rich with vegetables, cheese and more The hotel looks new and well maintained

The shower head was a bit blocked so the stream of water was not strong enough In breakfast, special made omelet and fresh orange juice were extra

I consider myself very lucky to have found this hotel as I'm extremely picky. The hotel was impeccable and enjoys an excellent location which is just literally less than a minute to Istiklal street. I was concerned that my requests may not entirely be met as I specifically requested for a higher room with balcony (as I'm a smoker and don't like to smoke inside the room). The hotel team communicated with me and, to my surprise, they have booked me exactly what I was looking for!!! The room was very spacious, brand new. The beds and sheets were extremely comfortable and cleanliness was superb. What amazed me also is their attention and their warm welcome. They genuinely care about their guests! As I was staying during New Year, they placed me a gift and a personalized letter that was very lovely. Upon check-in, the reception team was very accommodating and explained all services and same thing upon check-out. Breakfast was varied and neat. I really recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Istanbul. I know for sure I will certainly book Mukarnas hotel as I frequently travel to Istanbul across the year and hope to get the same room when I return next time.

Nothing to dislike. Very happy with them and will certainly return again!!

Had a fabulous stay. I'd recommend it to everyone Positives • New Hotel, Infrastructures on top • Quality service delivery, everyone is just so courteous • Perfectly located (Istiklal street is 5 mins walk, also close to taksim square, galata - approx 20 mins walk) • Pharmacy is next to the hotel • Metro station is 10-15mins walk • The number of restaurants/shops near the hotels, omg • Bed is sublimely comfortable, did not miss my bed • Very clean room, staff's hospitality on top • Gym is nice (open 24hrs) - but there should be a protocol for guests to bring their towels, found some gym equipments to be damp in sweats/water previously used by guests • No issues with air conditioning

Improvements • Food - Breakfast was dry & sometimes cold (also try adding some baked beans) • Paying for fresh orange juice (2 lira if not mistaken)

it’s brand new spotless clean! what surprised me most is staff professionalism.. all of them! from reception to cleaning lady to concierge and last but not least the waiters at breakfast. I don’t want to forget anyone but Aisha from breakfast took good care of us. I have stayed in 5 star hotels in Istanbul and always had issues with staff attitude. mukarnas pera wins.

actually nothing! I was skeptical but really loved this boutique hotel. I wish they had a spa or massage room to relax after long days

The location was incredible, we were surrounded by the historical places of Istanbul, the great restaurants and cafes were so close to the hotel. And the rooms were quiet enough for sleeping, the bed was so comfortable, the best way to start a touristic day. The breakfast was delicious with lots of tasty alternative foods. The staff were all so kind and helpful. Thanks them for their hospitality!

Everything was amazing . New hotel, Super clean,delicious breakfast ,great staff and we even got a room upgrade .

The hotel doesn't allow geusts of the guests to spend time in the rooms. But that seems like a thing in all hotels in Istanbul.

The staff is great and very helpful. The rooms are clean. The location is wonderful. The breakfast was good as well. Lots of choices.. The servers were very nice bringing customize eggs and teas and coffee! I really appreciate that! I would recommend to stay here.

I had some smoking smell sometimes maybe because of the guests smoking . Some loud music noises but it was not super loud. It didn't bother me much. Otherwise no issues. Please be careful of the website booking . Com , I got scammed and my credit card was compromised. I received a message saying my card was not working, that I had to insert my card again. I did it and got screwed as they took money from my card!! This is not hotel fault, this is booking . Com website being comprised. Hotel was understanding and told me you can pay on site when you come as I was not comfortable giving my card again. I recommend booking directly and not through this website!!

First of all it is an excellent hotel, very clean and it is in the heart of Istanbul, in an ideal spot which is quiet and at the same time near of Isticlal street which is very crowdy and with plenty of options. Additionally, it is in the middle of all the hot spots like Hagia Sophia/grand bazaar and Besiktas/Nisantasi which can be reached by foot if you like to walk through the city. The employees of the hotel were more than friendly and helpful. Especially Odun (if I remember his name correctly) was very friendly and helpful and also the employee which had to to with the luggage was every time available and willing to provide us tea or coffee. The breakfast was very rich and with perfect quality. Also, the Manager of the hotel was very willing to change my accommodation dates for 1 day later due to an airport strike without charge or any problem. The last day reception managed to book a yellow taxi for us to the airport with a fixed price and we avoided any extra and random charges that a tourist may face with some local taxi drivers. I would recommend the hotel to any future visitor as one of the best I 've ever stayed. Keep on the good work 10/10!!!!

We stayed for just over a week at the hotel, it was renovated recently and all the amenities were clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and the suites were air-conditioned and well appointed. I am not sure if the glass was insulated but it was quite and peaceful day and night even though we were in the middle of the town The staff were very pleasant, Ercan and Masut were very welcoming at the reception, and Aisha was delightful at table service at the breakfast buffet, which in turn had a good variety of foods and drinks. The hotel location was right in the middle of Istiklal street and in the middle of the district attractions. It was a nice stroll to entertainment and food venues.
