I visit this hotel at least once a year for last 4 years Now it looks like it needs some cosmetic renovation I was given a room with not working sockets. Also in bathroom walls are chopped and with old stains. They’re not the cleaning department problem. They require repaint. Bath tub also had problems with faucets. They were leaking. Hotel is perfect. But it gets tired a bit and soon will need some renovation.

Shangri La has got to be one of the warmest hotel experiences I have personally experienced. We were a family of 4 adults and one toddler and we stayed for 3 nights. Right from its strategic location to its service oriented staff to its clean and comfortable rooms, everything was on point. I am especially amazed at the level of personalisation and the warmth that each staff member exudes. I want to specially mention the awesome Emircan who helped with our luggage and get us inducted into the room. Shangri La at the Bosphorus follows exceptional standards of guest comfort. Highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Istanbul.

The food is excellent. The hotel is relatively new. I booked a suite but it didn’t come with a bathtub! How weird. The room was excellent. The food was amazing. The in-house hotel Shang Palace is a must. They serve some serious Chinese food. One of the best I have had.

Getting to the old city where all the history and nightlife is, is honestly IMPOSSIBLE. This hotel does not have a good concierge. They need to find someone who knows the details of the city and how to get from one place to another. The one i spoke with was terrible at her job. Failed multiple times

Everything about the hotel was amazing, they saved no efforts to go above and beyond The staff were amazingly professional and welcoming ( Yusuf, Karina and Oner) specially. Small details in the room like the heated towels rack, heated mirrors, bathroom TV being connected to the room TV, the way bedsheets are done, the way house keeping done the room. Such small details made a huge difference The breakfast menu was amazing with large range of well prepared foods our kid loved the restaurant and called it his favorite ever.

My recent stay at the Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped into the grand lobby to the minute I reluctantly checked out, every aspect of my experience was marked by luxury, attention to detail, and impeccable service.

Nothing was fantastic could not have been better, The staff at Shangri-La Bosphorus deserves special commendation. Each member of the team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was not only comfortable but truly memorable. Their professionalism, warmth, and willingness to assist with any request were evident from the moment I checked in.

Hotel location, Warm Welcome by all staff, Baklava key, breakfast, restaurant, Easy access to taxi, Gym, indoor swimming pool, and jacuzzi.

No kids club, Room size is relatively small for a family of two adults and two kids, ATM machine was not working even though I was told I could use it.

I throughly enjoyed my stay in the Shangri-La. - Loved the location, the comfortableness of our rooms and the hotel itself. Very tastefully decorated. - I also enjoyed the variety of the breakfast food! And how delicious it was. - The staff made our stay lovely as well. Specially Ali from the reception team and Ertam the doorman were super helpful and friendly! - Lastly, try the spa especially the Turkish Hamam and you will thank me later!

every thing is very good but few of the staff dont speek english on my arrival day there was a marathon, the main street was closed, the hotel never contacted me for advise ?? i called them because the taxi driver said he will drop me avbout 10 minutes away. it was difficult because i have 2 big bags and 2 carry on ?? when i arrived i asked the guard outside the gate to help me with the lugage he refuse ? the hotel should have sent a porter to help with my luggage at the location given to my taxi.

Extraordinary Hotel with excellent restaurants, lovely and very attentive staff. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back. The Chi SPA was outstanding!! Hamam was fantastic! Also the Chinese massages!! The steam room, pool, jacuzzi and gym were great too. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and lovely staff and a nice view over the Bosphorus! Afternoon Tea in the lobby cafe was incredible! Quality of food and service were one of its kind! In comparison with the afternoon Teas at Raffles and Four Seasons in Istanbul this one was the best! We also enjoyed live piano music throughout the afternoon tea. IST TOO and Shang Palace were amazingly delicious restaurants with authentic taste! Great Thank you to Serhat Vatansever who is the restaurant manager of IST TOO!! He should be in the TOP10 of the worlds best restaurant managers. His passion for the Turkish cuisine and restaurant was incredible! Shang Palace Restaurant which is serving delicious authentic Chinese food was brilliant as well. We enjoyed the food so much (service staff maybe needs some improvement). The Chinese tea ceremony of a karate black belt master was an incredible highlight!! Will return in July!! This hotel deserves 6 stars;))
