Perfect location- it is really close to Taksim Square Nice and helpful staff Good breakfast Good value of money

- It is a pretty old building and need renovation - The walls are not sound-proof and we could hear the voices from other room and street which were disturbing - The breakfast has good variety of foods except beverages. This option could be improved

Excellent location, just a 5 minute walk to Taksim square. Everyone at Konak were super accommodating especially Seda, Cihan and Mustafa were very helpful. Needed a wheelchair for my father and it was immediately arranged for in-hotel accessibility. Breakfast was very good. Was able to get a late check-out conveniently and they kept our luggage safe for a few hours more. Would love to stay here again soon and recommend it anytime.

the location was great . the staff was awesome specially ceda and cihan . and the bellboy was very kind and helpful .

they didn't let have my friends to get to my room for half an hour when i was changing my clothing , they left them in the reception instead , and this was rude .

The hotel location is perfect. It's between OsmanBey and Taksim Square. The hotel itself is in front of a bus station, and 10 mins walking distance from the metro station. The room we had was really good in size & very clean. The PCR procedure was really easy, the receptionist organized everything for us, it costs 250 TL per person. Overall I recommend visiting the hotel if you want to stay at a decent budget accommodation. You get what you pay for.

The staff had a really bad attitude. For instance, we were on our way back from a long day to the hotel with our friend, who wanted to use the bathroom in our room and then leave. The hotel staff were really arrogant and refused to let her enter the room, we even told the staff that we will wait downstairs, however they refused. I understand that she did not pay, but the staff was really offensive and unprofessional while talking with us. Another thing I didn't like about the hotel was the mattress on the bed, it was super uncomfortable!

the location was perfect and the staff were friendly. the rooms were spacious and ours had a balcony.

the decor in my room does not match the lobby and corridors. The air-con was loud and cool setting didn’t work properly.

The rooms are relatively small, the bed and pillows are not comfortable , the room has no mirrros it only has the bathroom small mirror .

+++The hotel is located near Taksim square ( 650 meters on foot) and you can reach Taksim metro station easily. The staff, including the reception and housekeeping departments are super helpful and hospitable. Concerning Covid-19 pandemic, the hotel has taken extra measures into account including extra cleaning of the common areas, elevators, entrance doors and etc. Moreover, the housekeepers disinfect the rooms' facilities and mop the floor using sanitizer liquids. My room on the 7th floor had a balcony and I really enjoyed it. The room consists of a large wardrobe, a small refrigerator, a TV set, a Telephone, blackout curtains, a comfortable double bed and a very functional air conditioning system (heating/cooling). There are so many local markets next to the hotel where you can buy groceries, fruits and other necessary objects. There are pharmacies and exchange centers next to the hotel. There are also two good take away restaurants outside. Therefore, I highly recommend this hotel.+++

-Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the breakfast is served in one packed plate (one portion) consisting of loaves of bread, honey, cheese, cucumber and tomato slices, chicken and beef bologna, jam, dried apricot slices and sesame cubes which tastes good. The problem though, taking the hygiene into account, is quite understandable. Nevertheless, I preferred to have a selection of items from a self-service buffet. -I did not like the taste of coffee so I chose to take coffee from Taksim square Starbox branch.

I booked this hotel from Booking.com after seeing the pictures (as I never stayed in it before) and it totally made me happy. it's exactly like the picture's very beautiful interior design and decorations. My favorite part of Konak is the breakfast buffet everything was perfect, clean, and delicious. The staff is wonderful and very nice. The services were great, I asked to have our laundry one day and then I and my husband went out, when we came back home on the same day in the evening we found our fresh clean laundry hung in the closet so that was very impressive. I loved the view from our bedroom window, you can see a beautiful scene of Istanbul and the sky. Very good value of money. Perfect location, its a 3 - 4 minute walk to the metro, and there are two bus stations one right in front of the hotel and the other right next to it 30-sec walk.

As I said everything was amazing but if I would comment on something it would be to get more comfortable mattresses, the bed was a bit too hard on my husband's back. Other than that everything was superb and lovely.

The hotel's prime location, right next to bus stations and the metro, made our trip incredibly convenient. The staff's exceptional service was highlighted by a free room upgrade courtesy of the manager.

The only downside was the beds, which were not as comfortable as we'd hoped. Nevertheless, this minor hiccup did little to diminish our overall positive experience. Another bothering thing was that the room safe box was not operational, we called the receptionist to send someone to fix it, but no one came.
