The car park was decent size and not over busy, the bedroom was just right size with a nice view and not too close to the road. Also the tv was a decent size and positioned on the wall at the bottom of the bed and there was no problem finding any channels on it - good reception - Netflix, etc. The staff were friendly enough and the meals were a decent size/quality, also if you like real ale I would certainly recommend the Nightjar Stout and UBU - awesome!! The location is also just right if you're a member of the National Trust, like me and the wife, Baddesley Clinton was no problem going around - lovely moated house, we missed out on Packwood House as the last viewing was 14.30 - strange and Coughton Court was closed when we arrived on the Monday and when we left on the Tuesday - even stranger!!

The only things that we noticed was that the hand dispenser for the soap next to the sink was broken but still worked and the tv was not very easy to start up - there was some kind of switch at the back which I have'nt come across before.

The breakfast was a small selection of cereals followed by a cooked menu choice. We had the full English one morning, which was very nice, then the scrambled egg on granary toast the second, the scrambled egg is exceptional. Coffee, tea and fruit juices were also on offer. We had an evening meal both nights. You can choose to eat in the restaurant or outside on the covered patio area with views across the fields and countryside. There is also an area with more low level relaxing seating that's uncovered with the same beautiful views. The menu had good choices for all tastes. The staff ask about allergies or special dietary requirements. The food was lovely, freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. The desserts are homemade and taste heavenly (especially the white chocolate and raspberry cheese cake). Throughout our stay, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and cheerful. Nothing was too much bother, it felt like a happy and relaxing place to be. We will definitely be staying again, should we be that way.

The only slight negative we had was - you could hear the busy road , but this calmed down as the evening went on. Also, as this is an old listed building, the floor boards are very creaky upstairs, but this did not spoil our stay.

Booked to stay for one night on New Year Eve - greatly appreciated early telephone contact to advise arrangements in terms of bar opening and entertainment. Hospitality was superb - all staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely character building including lovely open log fire in bar area, clearly a children and dog friendly place. Room was spacious providing comfortable bed with plenty of storage. Nice clean bathroom. Great breakfast provided including choice of fruit juice, cereal, yoghurt before moving onto the hot cooked breakfast - particularly recommend the "full English". Having a large on-site car park is always a bonus and the check-in & check-out service was quick with no issues experienced

Windows in bedroom were rather draughty.....

Downstairs bar area and restaurant was lovely. Great Sunday menu and food was really good. Our room was clean and comfortable. Fantastic breakfast. Staff attentive, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Great value for money.

Our room was very warm. We opened the windows, but then there was lots of traffic noise from the main road as our room was in the front of the hotel. Our breakfast was delicious when we finally got what we ordered. A mix up with eggs and toast!

The room had all the facilities we needed such as an iron, ample wardrobe space, a fan, and the bed was big and comfy. The TV has Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc, too which was very handy. The bathroom was very clean and beautifully decorated. The food was outstanding and the staff very friendly and accommodating. It was also very quiet considering it's above a pub.

Nothing major but it was a very hot day/night and there was no air conditioning.

Lots of choice for cooked breakfast, not quite as much for continental, which is what I booked. Nice coffee! I had four main meals and they were all very good indeed. Staff were all friendly and helpful, tv was fixed promptly after it stopped working. A fan was brought to my room even though I hadn’t requested one, which was exceptionally thoughtful during this heatwave. Loved the canopied outdoor area!

The tv screen was very dark, and the room was a bit cramped - no room for a chair. The busy road was noisy all night, but that is hardly a complaint, just a comment! I found the incessant piped music irritating while eating dinner, and wonder why it is considered necessary. Music is meant to be listened to, not talked over, and can ruin conversation for people slightly hard of hearing.

Spacious room. Very good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Just opposite National Trust's Coughton Court. Bus stop immediately outside to get to Alcester, Redditch and Stratford upon Avon. Nice outdoor tables looking over fields and shielded from the road noise.

Road noise meant we had to keep the bedroom windows shut at night. However, there was a fan in the room, but we didn't need to use it even though the weather was quite hot.

The food was outstanding and the rooms were very clean, I had a super view from my room too. The room had a good shower and it was a lovely location., the staff were all very pleasant too.

Nothing really stood out as not to like other than the wifi was a bit in and out in the bar area but fine in the restaurant and rooms. I visited with my Mother and we both found our rooms to be a little too hot, there was a fan provided but i dont really like sleeping with a fan on (personal choice) on the whole though it was a great mini trip and we will be returning soon.

Room was clean with a good hospitality tray and comfy beds. We had direct access to the car park without having to navigate through the dining area/bar The breakfast times were generous in time scale. The breakfast was excellent - well cooked, hot and delicious. We booked for a 3 course dinner with a good choice on the menu, staff attentive, food well presented and very enjoyable.
