OYO The Hotel Rafiya, Redditch

Clean room, lovely bed and pillows/duvet!, freshly changed. Left alone and had no reason to make contact to managers, swift and peaceful 3 night stay, would recommend and deffo use again if in redditch area! American motel vibe! Tv channels were great and recently decorated. They have a big beautiful dog and every time I pulled in I could see him/her resting its big beauty of a head on the sofa looking out, so sweet, bless. Generally really good stay.

Slight opening between the door and carpet,letting in slight draft. Not fault of their own, but I stopped smoking start of jan so sensitive to it, but think whoever was behind my room was rooming in the toilet as I smelt it and made me feel sick! Closed the door and no worries. Can’t pick your customers. Overall though happy with the place.

We stayed on the bottom floor in room 9 for the first time, had a flatscreen on the wall which was beautiful. The mattress was a little solid but nothing major, the overall room was gorgeous. Bathroom facilities were lovely, hot water, shower gel and soap. Clean towels and a fast heating heater.

Not necessarily the property but i think it was a cleaner in the morning, i understand that checkout is at 10am but they came into the room in the morning telling us that its time to check out and leave? i was prepared to pay the overstaying fee but we were disheartened and left at 10:15. Neither me or my partner were decent, and i feel like being walked in on getting dressed in the morning was completely inappropriate, not even a knock… but this won’t stop us from coming back don’t worry, we love Hotel Rafiya!

Spacious rooms. Easy check in. Free parking . Booked late through work, fast and friendly check in. Rooms are a decent size with onsuite which had a bath and shower Bathroom looked to of been recently refurbished and was well stocked with towels and toiletries. This place is great value for money and with free parking, makes it ideal for workers like myself who stay out a lot . There was a restaurant on site but I don't know what thats like as didn't visit it on this occasion. Will now stay here again when working in this area.

I don’t understand all the negative reviews about this place which nearly put me off it. It was great and especially at that value.i was very surprised as i went in expecting the worst from all the reviews. All the basic things was there, and on request they supplied extra pillow for my knee which was fantastic. The room was big and reasonably modern and fresh looking.

The only negative is the floor was not mopped. Entered with clean feet and within minutes it was totally dirty.

Is what it is for the price nothing amazing about it nothing terrible about it, I thought it was good value for money tbh, staff were useful when I needed.

Radiator took ages to heat up and there’s lit gap around door what let’s a cold draft in but other then that was ok

After having a hotel cancelled in bromsgrove we stumbled upon this little gem, from the outside we thought we’d come up to a scene from a hostel film, but the reception, restaurant and bar along with the staff were very clean and pleasant, the room was also tidy and well presented, shower was amazing with great consistent temperature and power! We had an Indian at the restaurant and although it took an age to get out due to them being a chef down it was hands down the best curry my partner and I have ever tasted, if we’re ever in the area we’ll definitely be back

The staff were excellent and extremely helpful and nothing was a bother to them ,thank you so much

Didnt like the plastic on the mattress,hairs in the bath,lack of privacy when blind was up ,needs privacy glass or sheet so when in room had to keep blind down,need bit better air flow, wafer thin walls could hear everything and got rudely awoken at half past four this morning by a couple having rather loud sex and shouting,not very nice can hear toilets from other rooms flushing,but otherwise worth the money.

Didn't bother with breakfast most of the time but staff were lovely, always on site and couldn't be more helpful, it was home

Bed could be more comfortable. Lack of any cooking facilities meant a very unhealthy relationship with McDonalds but that's not the Hotel's fault

I liked that it was being renovated. the new owners care and it shows

arriving at night the aesthetic was quite sinister because I’ve read too many Stephen king books but actually in the day and after a bit of a tidy up post renovation I think it’ll be quite nice.

We were looking for a decent place to stay over the bank holiday and we found it to be more than we initially expected. The place is clean and has all the basics we needed. The plus was the staff, everyone was super friendly, especially Jade who was an absolute gem, always willing to go an extra mile to help and making sure we had all we needed. There’s no breakfast included but in the evening we had drinks and delicious curry at the restaurant.
