Room was exceptional - clean., comfortable and fresh towels every day. Even had a floorstanding fan for when it was really hot. Breakfast was excellent - great choice and quality. Food in the pub was great value for money and plenty of choice. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly especially when giving advice on where to go as we were first time visitors. Lovely outside seating area which was a real suntrap. Parking in the railway station car park opposite the hotel was around £5 overnight and loads of spaces. We visited during covid and felt very safe.

nothing not to like :)

The Erskine Arms is in the heart of Conwy among all the bars, shops and restaurants. Excellent service. All staff were very accommodating and bar staff especially were very friendly and sociable. Excellent breakfast with more than enough with top ups of coffee, tea, toast etc. The Erskine was exceptionally clean too with fresh towels every day although they weren’t needed.

The property doesn’t have a car park although there were 3 parking bays across the road which we very lucky to get when we arrived.

Everything except the bed mattress was too soft for me. The room, we both agreed, was very warm and only May. Not a complaint as you can't please everyone all the time. The bathroom with walk-in double shower was fabulous. Yes! I would definitely stay again, hopefully in May 2024.

The bed mattress was too soft for me as mine at home is a firm memory foam one. Also the room, we both agreed, was very warm and only May. Couldn't open the window to cool the room as rain was forecast and we were on the 3rd floor.

Location was spectacular- close to transport the Castle and right in the village. Clean, comfortably furnished and a good sized room. Breakfasts were delicious and had many options.

It was unusually warm during my stay, ( not hotel’s fault) and although a good fan was in the room, found it difficult to sleep and couldn’t open the windows too much on advice of hotel due to seagulls and could not keep the drapes open either for my privacy.

Friendly and efficient staff. Delicious meals. Great location. Conveniently situated across the street from the Market Place carpark where those driving can pay/park overnight. Steps away from all the landmarks in the town of Conwy. Appreciated also was a welcome note when checking in. Of particular note, which I almost missed reading, is that breakfast during week days starts at 07:30, but 08:00 on weekends and you must alert them daily to your desire for your choice of breakfast seating the next morning.

Staying in room #21 on upper level floor above the pub the wifi reception does not work. Even after staff tried to "boost" the signal the wifi would not connect. Something to consider if you rely on a wifi connection while staying.

The staff were all excellent - attentive and polite. Room 22 was a good size and very comfortable. The food and drink were good.

Room 22 is at the front - nice big room and very comfortable with a lovely view of the hills but overlooking the main one way system through town and opposite the train station. With the hot weather windows had to be left open overnight so was a bit noisy until 11.30pm and after 6am. However it was the seagulls who made the most noise from 4am!

Location was perfect just opposite the castle. Staff were so friendly, they squeezed us in for an evening meal just after the kitchen had closed and the food was lovely. The room was spacious and well decorated and spotless, the bathroom was gleaming it looked brand new. The shower was nice and powerful, with choice of a bath. Downstairs there was a lovely bar with a great atmosphere obviously very popular with the locals so it's wise to book a meal beforehand.

The location was perfect to explore the town, we walked the walls and gazed down at the lovely houses. The hotel exceeded expectations in every department. Our room was spacious, the rain shower was fantastic, there were ample soft fluffy towels. The meals were delicious, the full Welsh breakfast in particular was outstanding. The staff were a delight, friendly and helpful. We can’t praise this hotel enough.

Honestly we can’t think of anything

Staff were friendly and helpful and all of the services were excellent. Breakfast was comprehensive, fast and of a good standard. The room is quirky with very pretty views and I intend to stay again for work and for vacation later this year.

The bed is quite hard. I am sure some people would find it suitable, but for me it was a little uncomfortable. Other than that I wouldn't complain about anything. Thank you for the stay, Erskine Arms!

The location couldn’t be better for proximity to historical sites, shopping, restaurants. Our room was spacious and very clean, although we did upgrade to a superior king room. We enjoyed having an excellent pub and restaurant on the ground floor, and didn’t have any noise-related issues. We parked right across the street in the Market Carpark. When we arrived mid-afternoon the carpark was full, but plenty of spaces available by 4:00.
