The Shelbourne

Lovely to be able to choose the day before meant no waiting good choices too. Our room was lovely with panoramic view of the sea front. Close to all amenities including the theatre. All staff and owners made us feel so relaxed like home from home but better as we were waited on. Will be staying again and will be definitely recommending to others.

Very good breakfast plentiful and hot.

Being rushed at breakfast by one member of staff. The younger girls very pleasant and seen to all our needs. Also one of the rooms we booked was very small for king size especially the bathroom.

The location was perfect, breakfast very good, the room very clean and staff great and helpful

room and bathroom quite small but had everything needed for short break. furniture and decor a little tired looking, could benefit from upgrading.

Late check in 4.00 this was to ensure cleaning however this is late and takes up good proportion of one days booking. Arrived after a long journey in the cold at approximately 3.45 however would not let us enter till appointed 4.00 so stood outside in cold. Appeared most of property had been kept up to refurbished standard however room a little tired in places. Paid for a side sea view, could only see a small section otherwise looking straight at a gable end or small back street from 2 windows in Room 10.

location was just what we wanted. the choice for breakfast was excelant and very tasty

I booked last minute for a one night stay. The Shelbourne exceeded my expectations. I was given a warm and informative welcome on arrival and felt immediately reassured that Covid safety precautions were in place. My room was very well appointed, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hospitality tray was generously stocked. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and my dietary requirement was catered for. Instead of cereal I opted for the fruit pot which was beautifully fresh with a good mix of fruits. My cooked choice arrived with a rendition of Happy Birthday and a candle! The dining room was very comfortable with views out to sea and the bar (not used) looked very well stocked. I would recommend this property and will book again should I choose to return to Llandudno.

The shower room was a little tired looking but spotlessly clean. This was not an issue for me - the shower was good with lovely hot water and the bedroom had been decorated with care.

The location was perfect for our needs: at the center of Llandudno promenade by the sea, we could easily reach the city centre and walk in any other place in the little town. The staff was always very kind and happy to help for any of our needs. The room and the bathroom were nicely furnished and sparkling clean, a huge positive point in my view. Coming to the breakfast, we were asked every day to chose our preferences, that they always fulfilled with organization and a smile.

We were satisfied with the stay, so nothing to complain about.

half of the hotel is still waiting to be refurbished . TV not accessible with subtitles and owner did not attempt to to replace it maybe a simple change of tv when someone checked out would have been manageable! instead comments kept being made that they have lost a lot of money through COVID lockdown. A little thanks from choosing our hotel to help them them get back on their feet would have came across better.
