Really friendly staff, helpful, friendly. Nice beds, great shower, sufficient amenities. Overall, very good!

There's no ventilation in the room so it gets rather stuffy (we had to open windows as the CO2 levels we're going through the roof). The vegetarian options are overall limited. Staff was super friendly in offering us alternatives when asked, for breakfast, one morning they even had a veggie sausage, and probably the frequency that vegetarians come to stay is just to low for this to be worth changing, but for me personally, I'd love to have more veggie options :)

The room was comfortable, the hotel on a quiet street, free parking, and we could hear sea birds through our window, which was nice. The in house restaurant served dinner and breakfast which was very convenient after a long day of driving. Our meals were hot and tasty. Especially the sticky toffee pudding! Breakfast was continental, but a good selection of items.

Our room looked out over the garbage bins in the back lot. After dinner we waited for the check for about 20 minutes after our dishes were cleared, and finally got up and found a staff member to cash us out.

A very friendly welcome awaited me on my arrival late at the hotel. Despite the fact that the kitchen had already closed for dinner, it was reopened to prepare a meal for me. This was to be emblematic of the hotel. The staff were so very friendly and helpful. It is a family owned and run hotel and that makes a difference. In addition the food was very good and clearly I was not the only one who thought so as the restaurant was full every night! Finally, the location right on the water front could not have been nicer. Highly recommended if you are visiting the Highlands.

I never succeeded in turning the mirror light on in the bathroom! But that was probably user error and it was not really needed!

We were impressed with the recently-renovated rooms (en-suites were great!), outdoor dining space (likely purpose-built for COVID), and dining room. We were blown away by the dining experience; this is a place that people from Inverness proper come to, just to eat. From venison to duck, sticky toffee pudding to candy-bar cheesecake, it was all fantastic and served with a wry Scottish sense of humor.

The only complaint I have is that the mattress in our room (overlooking the water) was way too soft. Might have been age-related, might have been what they ordered. Didn't ruin my night's sleep, just not to my taste. Otherwise, this was a flawless small-hotel experience.

Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The mirror was broken in bathroom and a lightbulb, but both were fixed on our return to the hotel. My granddaughter being autistic has funny ways, but the breakfast lady was quite happy for her to eat four sausages and Nutella for breakfast! The location was quiet, parking was easy, great views I’m sure we’ll be back

Only that there was no lift, but not a great problem as the staff were happy to carry our cases. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone.

The hotel is in a beautiful location on the shores of the Beauly Firth overlooking Inverness and a great view along the firth. It is a small independent hotel with only 9 rooms and has a very cosy and comfortable feel. There's no lift so if you've any mobility problems please be aware of this, The food is terrific our breakfast on both days was fantastic. We had dinner one night and took the £24.99 for 3 courses, all of which were superb, being a good size and beautifully cooked. It's only a ten-minute bus ride into Inverness and they run frequently from right outside the hotel.

Lack of electrical sockets and no USB chargers.

welcoming friendly staff, outstanding chef, great service in the (busy with locals )restaurant and bar, the menu has lots of variety big portions! and food is excellent so good in fact we stayed an extra night ! good value for money. breakfast also great lovely warm greeting each morning, nice breakfast room overlooking the water, a lovely way to start the day. only 5-7 min drive into Inverness shops so very handy, peaceful beautiful location, we slept good in room 5,.plenty of free parking.

bed in room 6 was a bit firm ( personal choice ) one in room 5 suited us fine. shower pressure poor but can see the owners are working on improving the property so perhaps in time they might get to that. pillows in room 6 need replaced. that said we will most definitely stay again

Lovely quiet spot by the water with easy parking. 5 minute drive over the bridge into Inverness. Really nice stroll along the water's edge to blow away the cobwebs which was most welcome after a long day. Nice size room with a lovely view to the front. Super comfy bed for a great night's sleep. The Restaurant staff in particular were excellent, very helpful and friendly - evening meal was very good indeed, and one of the nicest hotel breakfasts I've ever eaten, really beautifully cooked great ingredients. Made staying away from home on business an absolute pleasure. I will be back.

Really horrible accumulated smell in the bathroom over night, but Air Freshener provided 🤣 Couldn't get on the WiFi on my Laptop for work, but could on my phone, so that might be a Firewall thing our end beyond my expertise.

I absolutely love staying here when I travel on business. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the Food in the Restaurant is great. The most superb Breakfast! The Hotel is away from all the noise of the City Centre, so quiet it's just lovely. Staff are chatty and friendly.

If I was being really picky, I'd love a squishier pillow ;-) And maybe a wee biscuit on the Tea/Coffee Tray in the room. But honestly, I can't fault this Hotel - I really enjoy my visits.

The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The breakfast was lovely and we arrived in time for an evening meal which was of a very good standard. We sat on the veranda after our meal, which was really pleasant.

There was nothing especially that I didn't like, but if I had to be picky, cars parked directly outside the hotel in front of the veranda which spoiled the view but this was unavoidable as there is no carpark.
