Cocoon @ International Inn + Apartments

Had a fabulous 4 night stay at Cocoon International. The staff was very helpful and took some cases up to our apartment. Chloe helped with this and reassured us if we needed anything at all we just had to ask at reception. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Location was ideal for our requirements. Really pleased about how clean and comfortable the apartment was. It had recently been decorated also. Thanks so much to the staff of Cocoon Apartments and Inn for making our trip so enjoyable. the staff were amazing. Due to personal circumstances linked to why I was staying in the centre of Liverpool for this particular week I was very nervous checking in. The lady was wonderful. she took me to my apartment without judgment. The gentleman over night was patient with me (I drank Gin) such a fantastic man and very helpful over the weekend and when checking out. How he does it weekly I have no idea. the secure gate was very welcome, for a person alone I felt safe and I knew any problems the front desk would be there within seconds.

I was on my own so I didn't need a lot of kitchen stuff. I think I would have liked a check list of what was in the kitchen when I got there. only because it was such an odd assortment. The main point I would like to say about apartment 1 is that you need to get some blurred plastic {not sticky back just sticks with water} on the windows. so daylight can come in but you have privacy because it is so close to the footpath outside,

Good room, great value for money. Reasonable size, not huge be enough and storage space. Towels provided too which we didn't get when we stayed in the adjoing hostel on a seperate occasion. The room was clean and tidy with a good shower and ensuite. We were not disturbed but other guests with noise at all so it was either decent sound proofing or a quiet weekend. Location is fab. We are at pub next door great food. Comedy club round corner and close to everything

Location was great. In a nice area of the city with plenty restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. Staff were helpful. Apartment was generally clean and tidy.

Beds were not comfortable. Thin mattresses and one of our party was pretty hunched over after one nights poor sleep. Elected to sleep on the couches in living area on the second night. Tv wasnt working and wasn't fixed despite requesting it. Not a huge issue as we weren't there much but might annoy others.

Cute wee apartment. Absolutely fine for my needs for the duration of stay. Plenty of bars and places to go out. Also on a direct bus route to and from Liverpool One. Close to Liverpool Central Station too. Very easy to navigate my way around. Seems far out but really not, in the grand scheme of things.

Being in a student area made the weekend a wee bit noisy but not rowdy. Apartment not serviced for the duration of my stay.

This apartment was situated in the middle of both cathedrals in Liverpool where my son was attending his graduation for LJMU. One bedroom with tv and wifi included in price, small kitchen with cooker to make your own meals and save a fortune eating out breakfast, lunch and dinner. 5 star rating from us! Will definitely book again

The apartment block doesn’t have a lift however this is only a hassle when arriving with large or heavy luggage, the rest of the stay was fine as we were able to walk and down to second floor with no problems.

Friendly staff & all things necessary for trip were provided even to the extent of a fan (:

I’ve uploaded an image but there’s a glaring blue light in the door way directly facing the bed. I struggle with light sensitivity which causes severe migraines. This ultimately left me incapacitated a lot of the trip due to the severity of the migraines it’s caused :( But other than that, If this wouldn’t be an issue for you, I have nothing negative to say!

The hotel was ideally located in the centre of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was able to extend my stay when needed without any problems. Staff were helpful with booking and arranging for me to be able to move rooms which were available when I extended my stay.

I initially had problems with the phone signal due to the rooms being down in the basement. The hotel TV was missing several channels I would have liked to have been able to watch.

Staff were excellent, very friendly, very helpful, very knowledgeable. I didn't eat there but got lots of information from the staff at reception desk who also booked cabs for us. Good supply of kitchen equipment in the apartment

My son said the WiFi didn't work sometimes but I personally didn't experience that. I couldn't find a tea towel to dry the cups plates ect which were provided.

The hotel was ideally located close to the city centre and amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful in helping me extend my stay there when I needed to.

The area outside the hotel was littered with cigarette butts. Some of the guests were noisy late at night on some occasions. The lighting in the single room I moved into when I extended my stay was not as bright. I would have preferred if the power socket had been near the bed rather than on the other side of the room.
