The day/night staff were pleasant, helpful, professional and exceptional! Boutique hotel rooms are small but comfortable, the window overlooked Duke Street, so I was able to check weather. They supply hand soap, shower gel, a hairdryer, towels, safe. Good location near the Chinatown Arch, walk to lots of restaurants, music, cultural sites, the University, away from City Center business. A short walk to Liverpool One, museums, the waterfront. Buses are abundant and easy to track on Google Maps. My train didn't leave Liverpool until 4:00 p.m.; I was able to leave my luggage at reception after checkout at 10:00 a.m. which was so helpful.

During 2 of 3 nights of my stay, the air conditioning shut down. I called the reception desk and they immediately rectified the problem. They promised to have someone check it out for future guests.

The location was great. very near to central attractions and bar. Wifi was strong and free. Large 55 inch TV was great. Nice big fridge disguised as a Marshall amp was nice and quirky. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was compact and had everything that was promised. It was a good walk in shower but should have had a bigger screen because the water went everywhere. Plenty of sockets. The Tea and Coffee making facilities were good. All in all a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

We were on the lower ground floor so only had a very small window in the room which we could not see out of as this was at street level. As mentioned above the shower could have done with a bigger screen to avoid the water going all over the floor.

Beautifully decorated rooms, so cosy and quaint. It felt fresh and clean, and I was very happy with the room I had been given on the top floor. The building is in a fantastic location and it all felt very secure and safe. Eg. The fact that your room key only takes you to your floor, and that you need the card to gain access at the main entrance. Would definitely stay again

The lift was very noisy - it seemed to beep when you called it, beeped when it arrived. It was quite a loud alarm sound, which I was worried would keep me awake at night. It didn’t thankfully, but during the day it is very noticeable.

The location was absolutely perfect - so central and the bus from the airport stops very nearby. I booked into a single room and actually got upgraded, it was a very comfortable and spacious room, perfect for my needs! It was decorated beautifully as well, very modern. The staff were so friendly from check-in and throughout, I spoke to different staff members each time I was down in reception and each was as good as the next. I was also allowed to forego my £20 deposit and use that to stay for a late check-out (til 12pm) on my final day, which worked really well for me.

Not much not to dislike but one thing of note is that there's no daily cleaning of the room - this suited me fine to be honest, and I believe you can request a towel from reception if you needed one, but as I was only there for a weekend stint the towels in the room were plenty for me. Key cards are needed throughout and I found mine didn't work great for the lift but the stairs was fine.

Staff were very friendly, room was clean and comfortable and we even got a surprise upgrade with a bottle of Prosecco which was a wonderful bonus. Duke Street Boutique Hotel was close to the all of the main Liverpool attractions, extremely close to the bustling Bold Street and Liverpool One shopping precinct and an easy walk to the waterfront! Our room was a very very generous size, there was also a ring light mirror in the bathroom and a cool little bar fridge for storing drinks/snacks!

Only minor drawbacks were that the bathroom floor would get quite wet during a shower due to the half shower screen, bathroom is very small and the room was extremely warm (we had to ask for the aircon to be adjusted as there is no temperature control panel in the room) and there wasn’t complimentary daily room cleaning but honestly, none of these things affected our stay in any significant way.

- The Location was close to China town and Bold St. - Tv is big ( I think was 40 inch) and is central from viewing from the bed. - A selection of nice glasses. - Bed lights are adjustable. - A lovely, welcoming helpful lady at reception. - 8 electrical sockets. - Nice and large bathroom mirror ( wished it was lower) - Adjustable shower with 3 settings. - Automatic curtain. - Kettle is good. - The safe spacious.

- The fridge is a bit loud and kept waking me up a few times. - Shower glass length ways too short with water on floor. - Dusty wall.

Room was nice, the styling is good. Loved the rainfall shower head, plus the option for a normal shower head. The bathroom mirror lights up which is fab. Proper hairdryer provided. Safe in the room. Fridge was cool looked like a speaker. Great location for Bold St and nearby amenities. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Nice and quiet rooms, couldn't hear anything from outside.

No bedside tables, plugs next to the bed, but nowhere to rest your phone or anything else you may want. Blackout blind was hard to operate (it's electric) - and in the middle of the night it moved back up and down on its own. No toilet roll holder in the bathroom. Shower screen is only a narrow one, so consequently the bathroom gets wet.

The location of the property is just minutes away from Seele Street, Bold Street, everything on your door step. The room was beautifully decorated with a Marshall Amp fridge which I found absolutely amazing! plenty of room in it to stock up on water and snacks. I was traveling for a music convention which was being held in various venues across the city... I was always a few mins away from the room which was easy for me to go back and make a quick pit stop before heading onto the next event. Bed was comfy, room was clean and had the standard hairdryer, safe, body wash etc.

The sound proofing from the door into the hallway is a little thin but once in the room you couldn't hear a thing. In terms of the room itself, I have nothing negative to say.

The rooms very lovely, modern, clean and the room was a lot more spacious than I thought from the photo. The bed was lush and so comfy! The staff were really friendly and helpful with checking in/luggage leaving etc. Its about a 10 mins straight down walk to town, 5 mins from concert square. We were on ground floor next to the lift so was slightly noisey and couldn’t hear people coming in through the night but I think that’s the case in most hotels anyways. Very well priced for a Saturday night. Would stay here again :) Also the lighting in the bathroom was so good 😂

Hotel was very modern, with quirky little decorative touches throughout to justify its 'boutique' label. Room was spacious and comfy, and staff were very friendly at check-in. Hotel is unsurprisingly located on Duke Street, so location is ideal, being only a short walk from Lime Street, Cavern, Bold Street, Docks etc.

The wall/door into the room doesn't seem to be that thick/insulated, so as we had a room on the ground floor right by the lift, we could hear everybody coming and going, and every time the lift was called it made a BUZZ noise, which didn't make for the best night's sleep. The entry door into the hotel rooms could also do with a soft close feature, as whenever anybody came/went it slammed shut, also causing a right BANG every time it closed.
