There was a good amount, shame it was presented on cold slates not plates, tasted nice, good quality however £12 is a little steep,

We were in room three, I cute room with a kitchen area, unfortunately we were also next to the fire door, which was opened a few times and banged shut which woke us up, plus the staff coming into the building around 6;30 were a little noisy which woke us again , shame really the hotel is really nice , it maybe that we were unlucky to get a room near the front door, probably rooms 1/2 may be impacted even more ,

Great location. The hotel is tastefully decorated. The room was bigger than what I expected (with a nice kitchen area): it's more like a small apartment. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom is small but was clean and practical.

It's not soundproofed at all. Not only could you hear people in the hallway (laughing, talking loudly, slamming doors, etc.) but also in their rooms, walking around, plugging their devices, talking, etc. If you don't have earplugs, it's impossible to sleep without being woken up. And if you want to watch TV (even at low volume), some guests will knock on the wall or on your door to tell you it makes too much noises.

The Staff was polite and attentive. The breakfast , coffee and drinks in the place have a good quality.

My room was dirty, the freezer was full of food from another guest , the floor dirty, not toilet paper or hairdresser and I found a used tampon in my toillet. The next day, I asked to change the room and it was perfect. The great difference in this unpleasant situation was the staff. Very attentive and I was offered a cappuccino without charge at the next breakfast.

This was my second time at this hotel. The location is perfect for me when coming to Sheffield for work. I like the fact that there are facilities to self cater but the convenience of on site bar and restaurant. The beds are comfortable and the staff lovely and friendly.

The equipment in the kitchen is a bit basic - more crockery and wine glasses would be great. Also in COVID there was a great little pack of cleaning stuff for washing up etc which was not provided this time. The wifi was a bit intermittent in my room at the back on the ground floor

Location, fresh modern decor and furniture, cleanliness, self catering facilities, cosy bar/breakfast room, friendly staff. 11am check out gives an hour longer than most, thank you. Street parking convenient right outside, easy to book/extend with park mobile app and long duration possible. Nice cappuccino!

Nothing to dislike but … Window blinds could be blackout for a longer lie in ;-) They could also be fitted/amended not to tap on the frame if window open and breezy.

The hotel was fabulous, very tastefully decorated and a little industrial and quirky. Breakfasts were definitely worth the 12 pounds as they were gorgeous.. home made granola is yum... just what we needed this morning after a cracking night out ... Locations fab , not to far a walk into the hussle and bustle.. Staff were very welcoming esp Dave sho we had a great chat with on Friday night .. top bloke .

Only down side was the room could have done with a good sweep .. under the bed etc . And my hair dryer caught the fan at one point and there was a slight snow storm of dust. Would no way put me off staying again though ..

the property is beautifully decorated and furnished by someone with a very good eye for design. it is very quiet at night, although perfectly situated in Sheffield. Our room was very spacious with a seating area, kitchenette and sleeping area as well as an immaculate and attractive en-suite shower room. The bed was very comfortable. we were very pleased that a really good fan was provided in the current warm weather, which kept us cool. Excellent breakfast, comfortable bar and very friendly welcoming staff really contributed to a good stay. Good parking close by.

If you struggle at all with stairs, best ask for a ground floor room. the building is old and the stairs are a little steep.

Everything from the moment I walked into the reception/bar to check in. Greeted by the guys who couldn't do enough. Showed me to my room, inside was a fan given it was the hottest day on record! I wasn't expecting that addition. During my 2 night stay I needed an iron and ironing board and this was brought to me upon request. As far as the room was concerned it was just what I wanted, but in fact went above my expectation. Spotless and well prepared with thought. Even a jar of jelly babies adorned the work top. Also, there was a small personal plaque politely asking that the kitchen be left as you found it. I thought a really good way to remind those who don't treat their room like home to show respect. The bed was absolute comfort and a small table and chairs to sit at and eat. The decor was excellent, the kitchen area was super with kettle (large!) fridge, 2 x hob and a microwave and of course a small useful selection of pots, pans and cutlery as well as glasses for wine. Bathroom was lovely and fresh looking with a twin shower. The mirror shelf had a really appealing touch of displaying toiletries, shower cap and a sewing pack if needed! The toilet was round which after 7 weeks of different stays in sheffield have seen me encounter square toilets! They are not comfy if you have spine issues. So, ultimately, I personally would go back there over other competitors!

If, if I had to say that something I didn't like, then it would have to be the window. It opens ajar to the back of an enclosed walkway to the street but is dark, so lighting is a permanent feature or you'd not see within the room but that said, for me I didn't stay at this superb little for curtain twitching! Nor a room with a view!

love the style of the property, the bar and the rooms are amazingly designed.

the only thing that let down our stay was the bed, we had the worst two nights sleep unfortunately, the mattress is very uncomfortable as well as the pillows. Also a double bed is a little disappointing in such a lovely hotel especially considering the price. Genuinely the only thing that I could fault however it’s a pretty big thing that really needs to be addressed.

Room and staff were lovely, breakfast was a particular highlight - we had a few friends staying at the nearby Premier Inn and insisted they join us for breakfast on the second morning of our stay because it was so good. I had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, initially thought that £12 seemed a bit steep until I saw that it also came with a bowl of granola and yoghurt, and some genuinely incredible hash browns.

Not a complaint at all, just some advice for other guests - if you use the hotel's offer code for the nearby NCP car park, the NCP app will tell you not to take a ticket from the machine when you enter, but you DO need the ticket to get back in and retrieve your vehicle! I found this out the hard way and nearly missed my check-out time.
