Baymont by Wyndham Dothan

Newly renovated in Dec 2021 the A/C units are new and quiet. Room facilities are good with fridge & microwave. Restaurants in walkable distance. Comfortable beds. Clothes washing facilities for guests. Reasonable pillows. Friendly staff. The breakfast has a few hot things.

Can't think of anything. It is by a busy road but that didn't seem to be too much of a noise problem.

very clean and centrally located

Jade our front desk person was the best. She greeted us smile at us handled our check in pretty quickly. She even went a step further to check on restaurant for us to eat at, but when we arrived at 10 min later they're closed. She even called my mom to let her knw her room had to be changed Our rooms were clean beds neatly done. The beds were very comfortable but that wide frame on the bed may hurt someone knee. The pricing was awesome & I do appreciate this cost efficient hotel. All the staff was helpful

No coffee pot or coffee. The rooms although non smoking were really stale smelling- considered removing to carpet. Although they provide breakfast it was not very appealing, the meat looked over cooked, no waffles. There are several to eat.

Nearby people smoking pot and we had to endure the smell to get to our room, the breakfast they offered was just cereal, some packaged muffins and bread

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room and lobby/breakfast areas were exceedingly clean and neat. It's definitely a bargain.

It's a very odd location. Sort of in a "hole." Very difficult to find or see from the road. Google Maps couldn't even find it. It directed us to a building across the highway from the hotel. We stopped and asked an individual at this location ( a medical building), and she had no idea where it was. The hotel is very old. There were a number of areas that a fresh coat of paint couldn't hide...

The staff were really friendly, the room was clean, and the bed extremely comfortable. I went there for a little much needed r and r and brought along my granddaughter for company. The location was very convenient to a lot of things and they offered a hot breakfast in the mornings. Totally quiet and just what I needed. 🙂

The only thing I didn't like, and it is nothing this hotel can change, is that the rooms are on the outside. I prefer rooms on the inside, because I feel more safe in them. I made my reservations online and didn't realize the rooms were on the outside until I arrived there. Other than that, I enjoyed everything else about my stay and because of that I would definitely go back again.

The price and location

The bed sheets had spots. Need to be thrown away. The needed air freshener.

The room was clean..renovation wasn’t complete but receptionist told us before we accepted the room..no blow dryer or coffee pots had been received. Only a blanket on bed no bedding but bed was comfortable and new. For what we needed it was excellent for the money and very convenient for our departure in am where we were headed.

Craftsmanship of renovation was sloppy

We only stopped in for a few hours to get some sleep before finishing our drive the next morning, but we were very pleased with the room and staff. The front desk gentleman who checked us in was so very pleasant to speak to and helpful.

We have no complaints!

No paper thin walls. Bathroom was gorgeous. Room layout and theme was very home-like. Loved my King room!

People being allowed to play loud music late at night and early morning. Shady people hanging around. Random knocks on my door by people that were walking by.
