La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dothan

I like how as soon as my daughter and I walked in we were welcomed by an amazing fresh fragrance I wish I knew the scent name. It was the best about our stay lol and how nice and clean everything was. Lovely place and affordable.

I didn't like that there wasn't another option for meats at breakfast it was only sausage and I can't eat sausage it causes bad indigestion for me and how the eggs were a little watery but everything else was wonderful especially the pancake maker was really cool.

Service, breakfast, the room, bed, front desk workers all excellent!!

Rooms are remolded but the area around the ac/heat unit is not a good site and could look cleaner.. Also, the housekeeping knocks on the door so loud and don't give you time to actually get to the door before they bust it open. We had our latch on the door so they couldn't get in but that was even louder with them barging in. And they come way before checkout time, they came at 10am, checkout is at 12 noon. They woke us up every time they knocked so loud and tried to barge in.

Since I last stayed, the property has had a modest facelift: some tucks, some fillers. Still reliable and recognizable as a La Quinta. Some desk staff are very helpful. The breakfast buffet offers hot southern food (biscuits w/ gravy, etc) and some cereal options.

Due to road construction, getting in & out of parking lot can be an issue. Weekends seem to attract groups who may be spending time during the night going to & fro while conversing in the hallways. When the location has many guests, the breakfast buffet becomes overwhelmed. When trucks w/ trailers take up many spaces, parking becomes difficult.

It was perfect for the price. The staff was amazing and supportive. I was there to bury my father and the lady up front when we checked in, I hate I didn't get her name, but she was so empathetic and every time I walked by, she asked me how I was doing and if there was anything she could do. The guy that was there the rest of the time was respectful and accommodating to our needs. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast bar was delicious and had so many choices. The decor in the lobby was beautiful and clean, plus they had a few games we got to play to distract our minds. We will be back to stay there when we visit.

the room was very clean, the bed comfortable and a pleasure that it was not a very high bed to get into. Being handicapped is hard to get into the high beds that most hotels have. The room was a king size and larger then most hotel rooms. Front desk staff very friendly. Breakfast had a large selection although some of the food was cold. I would book this hotel again without hesitation

the lady running the breakfast bar was rude. I am handicapped and use a mobility scooter and I parked it so I was not blocking anyone but she was rude and said I had to go to the other end of the dining room, away from the breakfast bar, It was then difficult for me to get by breakfast. Lots of road construction, Hard to get into the hotel entrance

Well we were ok until we had to pack up all of our stuff and move to a different room because they were cleaning the floor so why didn’t they tell us that when we checked in we were a hour away and had to come back early I ask for some kind of comp and would not give us one but it was a hassle moving our things we were not happy

friends. On the day of my check in, booking charged my card $122 for the first night and upon my arrival at the hotel they charged $245 for the entire stay. They told me that booking will take care of returning those 122 but so far no one does. your help please.

The bed was great. The breakfast good, but keeping food warm in tiny crockpots is not very effective. The staff were all amazing.

The rooms are all painted grey with dark or black furniture. The lighting in the room was nonexistent overhead and the lamps made it difficult to see anything on a cloudy day. The lighting in the bathroom (mirror) was blinding. Also, this location allowed pets. I'm not an animal owner and all the dogs was off-putting. The one next to us was barky. Although LaQuinta cannot help this, the road construction all around the property made it difficult to get in and out.

We liked the central location of the hotel. The room was large and had all the essentials one needs to travel. They have a coffee bar and water available in the lobby during all hours which was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Getting clean towels seemed to be an issue. Two of our nights we had to personally request them. The pool closing at nine but the sign says ten. It would have been nice to allow the children to stay in the pool a little longer after a long baseball tournament especially on the weekends.

It was convenient, quiet, clean, comfortable and the breakfast buffet was fantastic!

We had requested a first floor room but weren’t o aware that these were “pet” rooms. One of the 2 desk attendants did not want to allow us to change room assignment. Fortunately the other young lady had no problem allowing a change. The third floor room had a door that stuck very badly, and made us feel like we were disturbing our Brit every time we used it. The breakfast buffet was fantastic but LOSE THE SPORKS! sure
