-The rooms are clean and comfortable. -The room was cleaned daily. -Staff are very friendly and went out of there way to help. -The unit had everything we needed. -Breast-fast was plentiful, each day there were home made breads/ muffins.

-No elevator ( we had heavy bags and our unit was on the third floor). I’m told that they are in the progress of getting one installed. -To access the breakfast, you have to climb a set of stairs that are outside the building. -The office requires a set of stairs. (With-all this said, the place is a hidden gem! The cost of the unit is impressive and breakfast is included.

The price for what we got at the last minute was awesome. The room was large and comfortable the staff was freindly and helpful. The bottom line have tyou ever had plans change or simply after a long trip just needed a place to lay your head and take a showr albeit clean and not a dump, here you go. It was eclectic but adequate and comfortable, and frankly I have stayed in many lodgings in Fairbanks they honest get a lot more expensive but not better.

Check in was a little clunky as I used Booking and thus they were unsure which room or where in the multiple buildings. The place is dated but very clean.

The room was comfy with everything you need to cook etc . Very friendly and helpful staff, the things to do sheet was great. Could easily stay another 2 days as our 2 days was not enough. Fairbanks has a lot to offer and nearby areas. Highly recommend this hotel on a tight budget. Breakfast was an added bonus, although you had to travel around the block for the breakfast building as we had studio apartment in a different location to main premises. Would stay again.

See above note. Comfortable bed, great tv, good price.

The shade on the window was ragged and would not roll back up. The floor was not very clean. Very large chair in room and had to be moved to get into bed. The small stove was very old and part missing, did not use because it did not look safe. Small shelf in bathroom had screws hanging out of wall. We could not use it because it would fall. I reported all of this to the manager when we checked out. She was very nice and said the place was still in remodel and they would look at it. The price was good tho and it was comfortable. They have two buildings, this was the older one they were working on.

I liked the quietness of the stay. The jacuzzi tub was great. The location was ok, about 20-25 minutes from restaurants and shopping.

The property was not groomed at all. There appeared to some kind of construction going on, and materials were everywhere. The rooms themselves need some serious updating. There was a miscommunication with staff, I was supposed to be on the first floor because I have an service dog, but the person I spoke with forgot to add it to my reservation and I was on the 3rd floor. Also, there are no elevators, and lots of steps. The bathroom shower curtain was way beyond needing to be replaced, kinda gross.

Very nice spacious room. Nice big bathroom. Has toiletries and towels. Parking and electric socket available for car heater. They gave pamphlets regarding where to see northern lights and other things to do which was helpful. Great breakfast. Had waffles!

Had to drive to a different location up the road for breakfast and it was only available for a short time from 8-9. I think the breakfast time atleast should be extended.

I did like the stay. The room I got was very large and resembled a one bedroom apartment. It was comfortable and had Roku on the TV to watch some movies. Had a full size fridge, a stove/oven, and dishes/pots and pans to do some cooking with if you wanted. I stayed in suite 2. It also had a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The main reason i chose this place was I am relocating from Las Vegas and I am travelling with 2 cats and they are a pet friendly hotel. The manager, whom I believe was the owner, was very friendly and always laughing. The main office appears to be their home, complete with a beautiful greenhouse with flowers as you walk in the main door. They offered breakfast, but I had someplace to be and did not part take. I would definitely stay there again if I wasn't living here now. I was pleased with my stay....thank you.

It was a little rustic and old, but charming and even a little bit creepy....but I like creepy as I often stay at haunted hotels.

Great bed, large rooms with nice furniture and big bathroom and tub. Loved that they included non-commercial movie channels.

The guest in the apartment above woke us up walking around in the night and flushing (loud toilets). Also, we had trouble getting the shower to work, but no problem with bath.

The staff was friendly. Independently owned, there’s a lot of love and care put into the place. The building look old, but the office is a pretty indoor garden. The room itself had all you needed. Kitchen, bathroom, full size refrigerator. Jacuzzi in our room was great. Definitely worth the bump up per night after a bumpy ride to the Arctic. Little out there but food is delivered which is a life saver after a long trip.

On booking, it doesn’t say that it’s two properties. There’s the main property where the offices are and there’s an extended stay residential place where we were at. Can be a little jarring when you’re jet lagged, it’s 11pm but it’s as bright as noon. It’s about a ten minute walk or a 3 minute ride, the taxi driver was kind enough to stay knowing there was another place. You’re in the outskirts of Fairbanks but it’s great if you’re taking a tour that starts from the airport. About ten minutes away. If you’re looking for “modern” hotel experience, this may not be the place for you . Otherwise the place was great, clean, the jacuzzi is awesome and the people in Fairbanks are very nice and chill.

We had a great two room suite #3 on the first floor. Ample off street parking. Very friendly proprietor and staff and proprietor made a great breakfast for all guests every morning. Close to the College and many Chena river restaurants and in quiet residential neighborhood.

The screen was ajar on one of the windows and let a few mosquitoes 🦟 sneak in
