Canopy By Hilton Scottsdale Old Town

The hotel architecture is lovely and fitting for the Southwest. The personnel were pleasant and answered all our questions. We enjoyed the variety of breakfasts--and tried several. The room was cleaned as we instructed.

The breakfast was not exactly "free." At an expensive, four-star hotel, we felt "nickel-and-dimed" by having breakfasts that were supposedly part of the cost of the room, while every breakfast on the menu cost more if it included coffee or tea. On a lesser note, the steamer (which replaced an iron) was a bit tricky to use and could have had instructions.

Loved the entire staff! Wonderful! Loved the location. Loved the charging stations. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Loved the dispensers with shampoo conditioner and body wash. The bathroom lighting was very flattering. Loved the ice and water machine in the hallway. Loved free wifi. Loved pool chairs and towels. Loved pet friendly!

Did not like the rooftop restaurant menu. Did not like the cost of the cabanas. Wish the breakfast had better pastries or donuts. Wish there was room service. Wish there was a better commissary with beverages and snacks. Went to Walgreens every day to stock room with basics.

super comfortable beds, clean, absolutely gorgeous hotel, rooftop bar had amazing service every time we visited. Mikey is an outstanding bartender! Can’t believe how fast he made drinks when it was slammed and kept calm, cool and collected, and still managed to connect and have fun with guests. Front desk and house keeping were also always friendly and professional!

service at the lobby bar was extremely slow (to the point we just left one time) and felt like a nuisance more than a guest. Food was just ok for the price point of the hotel.

Food was awesome! The accommodations were very comfortable and the staff was excellent. I like the more intimate feeling of the Hilton Boutique Hotels.

The poolside bar/restaurant was not available for a few days due to the air conditioning not working. We were told that someone would still be available to bring drinks & food from Cobre but that wasn't the case initially so we had to go get our own food and drinks.

The property is relatively new and is "spotless". The staff were all outstanding: friendly, professional, caring, attentive, and very helpful. The location was the best! Close to so many places that one can walk to restaurants, museums, art galleries, etc. The menu was not extensive but it was 'complete" with something for everyone and the food was very fresh and delicious. The "Avocado Toast" for breakfast was the best - such a unique blending of flavors and textures to compliment the avocado. We will definitely recommend this property to friends and hope to return sometime in the future.

There was really nothing we didn't like about this property. Our "view" was not the best (facing the opposite direction from Old Town Main St. and Camelback Mtn) but we could take that in from the spectacular rooftop bar and pool.

The room and facilities were modern and well-appointed. Really comfortable bed and large bathroom area. Staff available 24/7. We made great use of the rooftop pool and poolside drink service. Parking was very convenient and the location is central to Old Town.

A little far from the entertainment district, we ended up calling a $5 Uber instead of the 20 minute walk.

Great location, terrific staff that went above and beyond. Great rooftop with beautiful views and have bikes to use for free. Can walk to so many places for food, drinks, shopping, etc.

Rooftop was cool but SO overpriced and the food was subpar. The staff however was excellent and I do recommend visition the reooftop for the views alone.

Room was modern, quite and clean. The shower was fantastic and the beds were very comfortable. The room was facing to the west so we enjoyed a classic AZ sunset in the evening!

Pool was packed so we didn’t have anywhere to sit but the reserved cabana area was unused the whole time! We tried to enjoy the rooftop lounge in the evening but that was also packed and we were told it was at capacity and turned away.

The location as on the edge of scottsdale and a good 15 min walk to restaurants. Also that our key card was deactivated before we checked out which meant we got stuck in the lift , just lucky someone on another floor called the left as staff ignored the bell

great location, very close to restaurants and shops. comfortable bed. delicious breakfast! the burrito was so good I got it two days in a row. nice pool views.

asked for top floor for quiet but very loud techno music on rooftop bar went until 12:30am. seems like the place forgot it’s a hotel first that should make comfortable sleeping arrangements for its guests.
