Hotel Scottsdale

There was no breakfast. You could have a freshfruit and cup of coffee. Brittany the front desk person was amazing. Se exceeded my expectations.

The front of the property was all pulled up for repair. It has been in the same condition for about 6 weeks. I was informed that their new policy was that guests cannot stay for more than 10days per month. My last stay was 18 days due to medical travel to support a sick relative. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the hospital. Staying there was economical, conveniently located and reduced my stress as I am an international travellor who does not drive in the US. Somewhat like Sonesta or Hyatt they should provide medical rates and allow stays over 10 days as Honor Health is sooo nearby.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was a very large size however I wasn't thrilled with the bathroom I usually prefer a bathtub and the water pressure was really low. The hotel breakfast was basically nonexistent and there was no complementary water or vending machines. The staff was very kind and professional.

Also there was a small juice machine for breakfast that had water but once breakfast was over which basically consisted of muffins and oatmeal you weren't able to use the water for the rest of the day or during the evening which I thought was completely ridiculous considering the Hotel didn't have a store or vending machines.

got the room easily enough. elliptical machine was good. pool was nice. easy to walk to old town. felt safe.

was trying to book on line: by the time I finished, room rate went up from $116 to $149. So I called the hotel and was quoted $160. When I drove to check in the man at the front desk told me the only room available was $190. When I told him that he had quoted $160 on the phone, he "snarkily" stated "the rooms go fast". And to add insult I had a confirmation from booking.com for the $160. I am very annoyed with this and believe that I paid moer than i was supposed to have paid. The woman at the desk with whom I spoke the next morning told me there was nothing she could do about it. The pool should be open earlier for those who have to check out in the morning. Harold. H. Staff were very friendly, had everything we needed facilities-wise. Beds were comfortable and rooms were large. Good location, walking distance to downtown Scottsdale. Overall was happy with my experience and with the price paid.

Breakfast was a bit sad (oat packets, some fruit, granola bars). Also facilities could use an upgrade - stains on ceiling etc. But it was fine for the price, and I decided to stay there twice (start of trip and end of trip) as I MUCH preferred it to the Motel 6.

Arrived early so Reception kindly upgraded me to a suite. Although they are in the midst of renovations/refurbishment that didn't detract from the comfort of the room. I was there to go on a day tour so didn't have much time to use facilities on offer. The aircon in the room worked really well thankfully.

It was a bit of a walk (no car) to find somewhere to eat dinner, in the summer heat. Otherwise nothing too bad.

The bed was very comfortable. Location was good. Close to Old Town Scottsdale Center.

Carpet in room needs professional cleaning, hubby walked in his white socks from bed to the tile in bathroom and socks were very dirty. It looked like the bathroom door had recent coat of strong smelly oil based paint. The lighting in bathroom was very poor, too dim to apply makeup, etc. The tv could be put on a pivot to slant toward the bed area or the sofa seating area instead of flat on wall. The breakfast sausage and hard boiled eggs were in a chaffing pan that was luke warm at best. The boiled eggs were very dry and yoke just crumbled. People kept having to ask the attendant for napkins, more coffee and coffee creamer, milk, syrup for waffles and butter.

I loved my King size bed and entire room. The staff was helpful with any questions I had concerning the area, the breakfast was always nice and hot, and the location was perfect since there were so many places nearby I could walk to or Lyft for a few dollars.

Every time I came back to my room I struggled for a few minutes to get my card to unlock the door for me. Outside of that my only complaint was that I missed breakfast on Monday but that was my fault for not realizing the start and end times were different on the weekends.

The room was very comfortable and accessible for my 79 year old father. Bed was so comfortable. Got plenty of rest and a couple of great nights sleep. Also really enjoyed the breakfast and was in walking distance to an excellent restaurant. Very comfortable stay.

Did have an indoor pool and small outdoor area for seats and tables. There was a hot tub in the outdoor area and as I had mentioned before the outdoor area seating was very small. Only suggestion I would make is a larger outdoor area where guests can get more privacy if needed. ie: to talk on phone in private or just relax.

The property was well maintained and very clean. The room was huge, very clean and well stocked. The internet worked fine. Even when they don’t offer breakfast, they have complimentary bars and fruit available in the morning, and an excellent coffee. The staff was pleasant and efficient. The location is excellent: very quieta and upscale area. Overall, great stay and outstanding value!

Great size bedrooms great location in old town right beside all the attractions of interest. Eat at Denny's. Young girl at reception gave us directions to the shopping centre. Used the laundry and that works well.

Shame they charge to do early check-in after a long journey it wouldn't kill them to let you have an early check-in in a room already prepared
