Motel 6 Old town Scottsdale Fashion Square

I loved how close it was to downtown Scottsdale and that it had a microwave/mini fridge as well as a little table area to do work from or eat at. The bed was comfortable to sleep in.

I didn’t like that I was in a non-smoking room that smelled like cigarettes I didn’t like that there were gnats around the bathroom sink area I didn’t like that it didn’t feel super safe (multiple times I heard people arguing outside my room) I didn’t like how there wasn’t a secondary curtain. I didn’t feel comfortable opening my curtains during the day because people would be able to see if I did. It would have been nice for there to be a secondary sheer curtain that allowed for privacy but let in some light because the lighting inside was pretty drab and I’m a big fan of natural light.

The furnishings, bed and bathroom were all very comfortable and worked well. It was also fairly attractive, especially for a budget accommodation. I was initially skeptical about a Motel 6 in the middle of such a posh area of town, but it mostly fit.

I REALLY wish the room had had a fridge. Just about every budget room I've stayed in recently has had them and so I was surprised that there wasn't one. I only realized that there wasn't a fridge after I got back from walking a fair distance to get some beer. It's a pain to keep beers cold in the sink.

Clean room. Great location - walking distance from possibly my favorite shopping mall in the region! Pleasant staff. A dedicated spot to take your pet to relieve itself.

There was a noticeable amount of random people congregating around our room throughout the night. They appeared harmless for the most part. One group was likely associated with a hotel room-based party and included intoxicated, belligerent millennials; the other group appeared to be more adult-oriented, stayed a couple rooms down, but regularly took their outside activities to outside our door. The heater did not seem programmed to reach above 78°F, and did not appear to be blowing warm air, causing us to have quite a cold stay...

Loved the room itself with the lil booth, modern look, fridge, and microwave. Room was clean. Quiet. Great value and location. Props to the woman checking guests in while having to deal with a drunk patron who locked himself out and kept interrupting and cutting the whole line of customers waiting to check in.

Line to check in took a good 15-20 min to check in. Some other guests could benefit from having some awareness and consideration to other guests when talking outside of other rooms.

Peace and quiet 🫡🫡🫡 room is comfy i work two jobs it’s hard to find a place right now so when I get payed this is my go to Motel….. Me and my family got evicted out of our home they stay and another motel while I’m sleeping sometimes in my car well not even my car it’s a rental due to someone ran into the back of my car when it was parked on Memorial Day weekend I woke up to find that out anywho this motel it’s convenient the front desk clerks are all amazing greet you with all smiles

Best Motel 6 we have stayed at. Super clean, good location, nice pool and amazing pancake house on site for breakfast.

Lady on night shift is pretty rude. The day shift were very helpful helping us to stow our bags until we had to leave as check out is 11am or you have to pay for a night to stay a couple of hours. We werent allowed to use the pool after check out which was annoying.

Dogs stay for free. This M6 charges a $10 parking fee. No breakfast but they do have coffee. It is right next to Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale. There is a pool and dog water area with poopie bags provided. It's quiet and clean. Hot water, nice deep bathtubs! The check in lady was spectacular!!! Great personality and super friendly!

The room was very clean. Simple, but comfortable. Shower worked great. For the price of a pool view room its worth it. The original house of pancakes or pancake house? Either way, it's connected next door and it is great! We really enjoyed our stay.

Maybe shampoo/conditioner as amenities would be nice. But the vending machine by the ice machine has both for like $2.50/$3.00 and the vending machine does tap pay. Also cool.

Good location, was able to walk to many bars. Great restaurant attached.

Maid never came to clean up room. We had garbage and cans overflowing. Almost ran out of TP and when we asked for more they said they didn’t have any and they’d call us when some arrived but never did. Never got new towels. Bed not the comfiest.

Very conveniently located to both the very large Fashion Mall and downtown Scottsdale, all in walking distance.

There was no shampoo provided and the noises from upstairs transferred very much to downstairs, probably because of the age of the building.
