Motel 6-Williams, AZ - West - Grand Canyon

We had a room with 2 queen beds. They were VERY comfortable. I hate motel showers as the water pressure is always low or adjustments are hard. This shower had great pressure and was easy to adjust. Clean, air conditioner great. Staff very helpful!!! I had been having difficulty sleeping for about a month. 4 days sleeping in the motel room and exploring the mountains and was sleeping like a baby by the time I left and it maintained when I got home. The surrounding area felt safe. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.

Maybe a small refrigerator available in the room and a microwave available in the room or the common area.

Most of my "Excellent" ratings must be considered from the perspective of the category of this facility, i.e., economy motel; e.g., was this comfortable compared to a Marriott? No, but it cost nowhere as much as a Marriott, but it was very comfortable for a budget motel. Note that I consider it very clean & the staff very friendly & helpful no matter what category of motel/hotel. If I return to Williams, I would stay here again.

I would have liked a mini-fridge in the room, but AJ at the check-in desk did advise me that the office has a secure refrigerator available for my use.

All that can be expected from a motel of that sort is to be clean and while not spotless, it was actually not too bad. Staff was helpful too. The walls are a bit thin, though not as thin as in a lot of other motels I stayed in. The noise from other rooms was not really disturbing at all, and the motel was almost full judging by the number of cars in the parking lot.

Shampoo/body wash would be a nice touch (they only provide a small bar of soap).

Location is great. Store is right in front of a Family dollar. Safeway is right around the corner. You could walk to all the restaurants. Room was clean. They allowed my fur baby to stay at no extra cost.

No microwave or refrigerator. They have a microwave in the lobby. They have very thin walls, you can hear everything from upstairs and hall ways in the mornings, I guess when people are getting ready to go. Pool and hot tub closed.

Great location. Easy walk to restaurants, gift shops and supermarket. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, as was the whole complex. The air conditioning worked well.

We thought it was extremely good value for the price paid. We would have given the property a 10 if there was a mini fridge for food and drinks,. There was an ice machine for guests near the lobby.

Had a second floor end room that was nice and quiet in the building that has the indoor pool and that made for an enjoyable swim for just the two of us in the pool.

It was very basic and didn't have a mini fridge/microwave/coffee maker, typical soap, shampoo, conditioner or even tissues, but the beds (2 Queens) were comfortable and the TV worked well and had a good picture. There was just one small night stand between the two beds and a small table and two chairs for eating.

We stopped in for a reasonable price, for one night. The grounds and the room were CLEAN! Nice difference from other locations. Having hot coffee, and hot tea in the morning was fantastic. Good bed. Nice pillows. Warm inside, outside was freezing. The check-in was friendly. I was so impressed with the cleanliness! One year ago I stopped in Springfield, Oregon due to my mom's death, and was at motel 6 on Gateway - it was so Filthy that I wrote a letter to the location and to Motel 6 - I never had done that before (it was THAT bad - I have pics.) I never heard a word back, tho. Your place was inviting.

The STOMPING upstairs above us. At about 10:30 pm it started, we gave the person 45 minutes to put their belongings away, shower, etc. but the stomping did not stop - I even tapped on my ceiling to get their attention, it did not help. It was horrible. I finally called the front desk, and then about 45 minutes later they finally stopped their *constant* *loud* stomping. The front desk was NOT happy with me coming to them at 11pm. There was no breakfast. It would be nice to have a vending machine with heat-to-eat pastries, or?

Close to everything.The laundry room was always full as they only have 3 washer and dryers.,but there's an amazing laundry mat o.6 miles from the hotel with new washers and dryers of all sizes.The attendant at night is awesome. And you feel safe. Staff was great.

No microwaves or friiges in the rooms and only grab and go breakfast. No coffee pots in room or lobby until breakfast time And no hair dryers in the room but they did have 2 at the front desk if you were lucky enough to get one.

The front desk worker was amazing and helpful. I think his name was Benjamin, but I may be wrong. He was phenomenal and had great suggestions about places to eat and things to do. He provided the best help I have received in a long time. I am truly grateful for his kindness.

I wish the pool area was open.

There was no breakfast but there was coffee but no liquid creamer and only one sweetener was disappointing. If your not serving breakfast, at least have something good to put in the coffee. French vanilla creamer.

Dog was barking when it heard people coming up the stairs. Should separate guess with no animals from the guess with animals.
