I can’t rave enough!!! Location is amazing & staff is even more amazing! Kaleb & Sue at front desk so friendly and seem to LOVE their job which is hard to find especially these days. Voodoo bar on the property had the best drinks I’ve ever had (no lie)! & the manager of bar is a fresh of breath air & as sweet as people come!
The queen suite bathroom is a little tight. Parking is a little rough because of double parking the staff has to keep keys to move your car if blocking person in & someone not staying at hotel blocked us in and we had to wait for them to move…..

Best hotel bed I’ve ever slept in! All the staff we encountered were very helpful. The location was awesome, right by everything we wanted to do. The valet and private parking were nice.
This is a historic building and the room we booked was very small, but again, it’s a historic building and was what we were expecting. If you want sleek and modern Eureka is probably not the city for you. No breakfast included in the stay. No fridge or microwave in our room, I’m not sure about the other rooms (we booked the Queen w/ shower.) All that being said, we would absolutely stay again!

This hotel was super cozy and convenient. The staff was INCREDIBLE!!! They went as far as to make dinner reservations for us! I would go back a million times over!!!
The air conditioner rattled a little bit. My husband is a contractor in construction so he knew how to make that stop but for average guests that might be a teeny tiny bit uncomfortable. But that was the ONLY thing we didnt enjoy. This place was AMAZING!!

When you walk in, you are immediately delighted by the sights and sounds of an award-winning hotel. The room, staff, bar, well, everything, was beyond exceptional! New Orleans jazz plays while the staff parked our car, sent up our luggage and made us a drink. Being from South Louisiana we were delighted to see the furnishings and decor of the Big Easy in its 40's heyday. Well done New Orleans Hotel. We will be back!

The hotel is over 100 years old so it had lots of charm. Our room was very spacious but that was reflected in the price we paid. The hotel was nicely decorated and there were so many period touches. The major issue was no elevator. Having to carry bags up three flights of stairs was not easy for a senior citizen.
No elevator. The bar closed before 8 pm and the drinks were silly expensive.

We loved being right in the heart of downtown. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and we were delighted with such a comfortable bed!! The best part of our stay was the amazing staff. Sue is THE BEST!!!!!
Nothing to dislike. It’s amazing! We were warned ahead of time there’s no elevator. We parked in the loading area. Took our luggage out of the car and let them park it. Easy!

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Eureka. Decor is excellent and made us feel like we were stepping back to an earlier era, in a good way. Jacuzzi tub in the room was a huge hit.
Our ONLY complaint was the lack of an elevator but this is a minor inconvenience/first world problem. Worst case you are going up 3 flights(which we were). The extra exercise just allowed us to order dessert after dinner.

Friendly staff and great location. Staff hunted down an extra blanket for me, a lot of places will forget that you asked. Beautiful antique furniture through-out the hotel and rooms. Beds were comfy.
The room was nice but had no place to sit except for the bed and one chair that had deflated cushioning rendering it unless for sitting. The tv was an extra small size that could only be seen if sitting directly in front of it. There is music playing through-out the hotel the stops at 10 pm and starts again at 5am. This music could be heard clearly in my room. It was way to loud in the lobby and balconies and should not be heard at all in the guest rooms.

We liked everything, however it might be nice for other's to know that there are no elevators and you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs, this includes from the parking lot and inside the hotel. Lot's of stairs.

right in the downtown strip where you have many options of bars, eating, and shopping. can easily see the rainbow stairs, walk to the basin hotel, or people watch right on their balcony. The decor still gives you the feel of the old time building but all still updated just enough to keep up with times! For me I loved the staff the best. so incredibly helpful from getting your car, giving extra water bottles, mailing items left behind on accident—just always making you feel like a priority. anything negative, there were so many positives it didn’t matter.
The towel rack had come off when I grabbed my towel which should not have happened. I also found a paper under a couch that should’ve been cleaned up before a new guest arrived. also would’ve been nice to have a small complimentary food for breakfast. I got up at around 0700 hours and walked, not even a coffee shop open. they have coffee that can brewed in your room which I did but having a little breakfast cookie or granola bar or some fruit would’ve been a cherry on top. especially since there wasn’t anything opened near by .
