Building was clean and professional.

we didn’t think that the appropriate time to have the parking areas done in the middle of July.Thought that the middle of May-June before main stream summer would have been better.The other only problem was that when I received my key to go up to room,found the room not cleaned yet.Had to wait an hour for it.Other than that,I like the cleanliness and size and condition of all aspects of the hotel.Especially the hot breakfast.I would use and recommend This hotel in the future.

Lovely contemporary room. Usual Hilton standard so you know what you are getting. Ok breakfast. Stunning location in the hills above Malibu. Lovely drive down the hill to Malibu with stunning views. Lots of restaurants locally. Car parking is free & safe.

Breakfast is ok, limited options. Waffle machine was brilliant. Warmed egg & meats I left as was warm & not hot. Lovely coffee but some of the time the flasks were empty or cold.

Fresh decor, very quiet (with windows shut on highway side), comfortable beds.

All the bread, bagels and muffins were made with completely white flour. Some multigrain breads and bagels plus bran muffins would be so much nicer. The cereal was also poor nutritional value. Why not some raisin bran flakes and/or granola. The only healthy choices were porridge, yogurt and eggs.

I liked the place location right next to the freeway to go places faster. The hotel was nice looking. The rooms were a good size, it was clean. The staff was very attentive.

I didn't like that the two rooms we got smelled damped. Like wet dogs. We had to open the windows everyday to let the smell out and just use the a/c at night. The breakfast food was ok, the attendant could do better at keeping up with the food. The a/c in our room was extremely loud, it would wake me up everytime it would turn on.

Breakfast was very good. The kids loved the waffles, the grown ups preferred the sausage and omlettes. The beds are sparkly white, and even the covers get washed. The walls are NOT paper thin, we stayed right next to the elevator but did not hear a thing.

I would do a once-over on the window frames in the rooms and check the cleanliness of the light switches. But overall, given the exceptional cleanliness of the beds and the towels, we were satisfied.

perfect breadfast - always good protein. the dark roast coffee is worth $8 savings from a starbucks option. wife was a post-op surgery patient who had to sleep upright and they provided extra pillows and bedding and even another office chair to help. the desk staff was amazing to help us with extending reservations, other caregiving issues we had. Thanks to Kathleen (manager), Jeff, David, Mike and all.

staff were great - good location for our plans - waffles were good. lobby was nice as was work out facility. never got to try pool or hot tub

renovation going on starting on 3rd floor - no real issues though. baked goods and hot foods on breakfast could be improved

The newly renovated room was very nice. The complementary breakfast was wonderful.

The floor we stayed on was still under renovations, so it was a little bit noisy. The parking situation was very tight due to closed off area because of construction.

Facilities - from parking to entry & lounge areas to rooms - were all very nice.

No eggs for breakfast (no scrambled or boiled eggs nor omelette) some days, only apples for fresh fruit, and tables don't seem to be cleaned after guests use them for breakfast. They need more staff for that along with a better chef or breakfast budget. Weak water pressure and water was very slow to heat, at least on 3rd floor. (pumps that prevent this problem in high rises much less 3-5 story buildings, have been around for at least 30 years)

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. My friend and I requested 2 rooms near one another. We arrived an hour before check-in. They offered a room that would be available soon and we could wait and have coffee or hot chocolate while we waited. Five minutes later we checked into our rooms were ready, we checked in and were right across the hall from each other. The rooms were clean, bright and the beds very comfortable.

Nothing it was perfect.
