Rooms clean and pretty

Bed mattress were hard and not comfortable. They seemed like old mattresses. Also a big issue is that the electrical outlets were few and in order to plug in a phone or computer we had to disconnect a lamp or other hotel appliance. In many upgraded hotels the electrical is upgraded. Also in the bathroom when I used the dryer while the bathroom light and hallway light was on the breaker tripped twice. We had to call Maintinance department to fix it. It seemed like the GFI needed to be replaced. When it tripped the hall light would turn off as well as the GFI bathroom plug. Room 206 I believe is what we stayed in.

Clara the front desk lead was amazing!! she was personable and included flowers and other amenities to ensure our 32 year anniversary was special. Our room had a lovely view of the Rose arbor. The resort has beautiful grounds and the fireplace in the room made it cozy and romantic. The beds and linens were super comfy!

It was hard to reach the front desk by phone. we tried several times Via the booking app and called in person no one responded. the location isn’t far from our home so I came in person which is how I met Clara who promptly apologized and made everything better. Although after we checked in we tried contacting the front desk again and it just kept looping us back. The spa Jacuzzi was a little small for two but still very nice.

Check in was easy and was welcomed with friendly staff. The room was upgraded to lake view without requesting it. The staff simply found out that we were on our anniversary and she looked for a room that was suitable for the occasion-that was a bonus! The only reason why I didn't rate this hotel 10 "perfect" is because a few of the restaurants including the spa were not open Mon and Tue which is when we were there (we checked in on Sunday afternoon). If only I had know that some facilities were not going to be open on certain days, I would have changed the days of our stay. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay.

We have been coming to the Westlake Inn for almost 10 years now and it continues to be a wonderful getaway. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The pool is beautiful with a wonderful bar and lunch menu. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.

It would be so fabulous if the patios were more private/enclosed and you couldn’t see the guests on either side of you, however that would require construction! It’s not enough to keep us away!

Im obsessed with this property!! I literally live a hour in a half away in Bakersfield ca!! One weekend out of the whole month i get to myself my one and only son goes with his dad. I use that weekend for self care. I always leave for the weekend! Why didnt i know about this amazing place!!! I swear i had to be a mermaid in a passed life. Any where i travel too has to have a pool. The pool at this location was AMAZING!! Plus it has a bar. You already know i had to have my strawberry margarita by the pool. What sealed the deal for me was the heated pool 😍😍😍 Low key we had our own wine tasting and left super drunk. On our way back to the room we met some amazing people. We all ended up hanging out. Also we brought champagne bottles for mimosas they where a mission impossible to open. The gentleman at the front desk couldn’t even open them. They went ahead and took it to room service to help us out. The fact that they went beyond there job title to keep us happy. Speaks volumes to me!! Amazing amzing amazing customer service. I make a living in corporate Sales managing. Customer service is Huge for me and the whole staff exceeded my expectations! Awesome job!!! You all won me as returning customer!! Huge plus, •winery •free bike usage •spa •heated pool •amazing staff (positive energy making us the consumer feel confident to approach them)

It was one of the prettiest Charming properties I've ever stayed at, I hope we will be able to return the restaurants were terrific the room was beautiful the pool was gorgeous the people were so nice running the front desk and all the staff

The Stonehouse breakfast although very delicious!!!the wait time was unfortunately way too long, we arrived one morning at 9:50 a.m. and did not receive our food until close to 10:30 more help is desperately needed to take orders and move things along

We stayed in the king suite but there was only one room so I don’t think it should really be classified as a “suite”. But it was very nice and the jacuzzi tub was amazing! Jets worked perfectly and I was able to fit with my husband. That was definitely our favorite part. I was a little disappointed with the view because I thought we would be able to see the lake but that’s okay I guess. We were able to see the golf course slightly instead. The property is gorgeous and I love that there were restaurants in walking distance. Definitely a fun place to stay for a date. The bed was kinda comfy. My husband thought it was a little hard, soft fluffy pillows though.

So this almost completely ruined our stay. There was a group of people staying next to us throwing a HUGE PARTY. There were girls screaming and singing loudly and slamming doors. I think they must have booked two rooms? And kept going back and forth I guess. It was insane! I’ve never experienced anything like that. And they were also blasting music. They were wasted. So it was 11pm and we could not sleep at all so I called the front desk and I guess I wasn’t the only one (big surprise) and they sent security to talk to them. I think it took security coming back a couple of times until finally they kicked all of them off the property. THANK GOD. So I don’t really want to rate the hotel badly for this because it wasn’t their fault and in the end they completely handled it.

location grounds restaurants , the pool service and food amazing !

the showers strange as bench should be on opposite wall , rooms dated . no elevators or bellman when traveling with large groups wedding ..heavy bags etc

I love the beautiful well kept grounds, the friendly staff, the amazing food and the gorgeous rooms. The location is perfect.

There's nothing I didn't like. Only suggestion have room service go later than 11pm.

I got ready with hair and make up at the hotel and stayed there the night of my wedding. The staff was super accommodating, they even put flowers and champagne in my room before I arrived. The property is beautiful for photos and the rooms are so big.
