Ayres Lodge Alpine

4th year in a row returning. This year was a bit different.

Not one to complain but this year sure was different. :( This year we couldn’t use the pool one day because the guy doing the grout around pool said it needed to dry for 24 hours and we had to get out of pool. However, the pool never closed that day… We go there for the pool since our boys are autistic. Another day we had problems with the cleaning ladies leaving something in our room and not filling the soap dispensers. Then, a lady guest yelled at my son not knowing he was special needs just because he asked her ‘why’ when she told her girls to get out of the pool. Just a whole different experience this year :(

We arrived late Friday night and I called ahead to let them know. They opened and set up the pull out bed for my kids and left cookies on the table and milk in the refrigerator. Breakfast was delicious, hot, well-stocked and had so many choices for food and drink. The staff literally couldn't have been nicer. Pool was clean, heated and the area was very nice. The hotel sits in a shopping center with easy access to all restaurants, coffee shops, specialty stores and a Rite Aid (which we needed and loved being able to walk to).

Nothing, it was perfect in every way.

Well kept property convenient to the highway and at the back of a strip mall of stores and restaurant. Our rooms were on the backside - with shade and a fire pit and places to sit. Beds, bath, all fine.

Our room was equipped with microwave and refrigerator, but they weren't plugged in and it was a little interesting to figure out which plug went with which device. Some of the cords were stretched tight to get to the outlet. Light switch location for the bathroom was not at all intuitive.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The free breakfast was delicious and the pool area was pretty clean. We were able to check in early and enjoy the pool before we went to the casino later on

The bed was so uncomfortable, they were very stiff. Those beds could really use a pillow topper. I also didn't like that the switch for the restroom was on the opposite side of the restroom it just made no sense. I went crazy looking for it. I had to go flipping all the switches to find the right one.

Breakfast was always wet from the steam table. water dripping from the lids on to the food. Sausage not cooked right. Biskets always wet.

the staff is always so friendly and helpful always also i had left a comment when i booked the room that i wanted to be on ground floor in front and room closest to office the lady at check in accomplished all of those for me which i was very grateful for thank you so much

i liked everything but just a couple little things were there was some sorta brown liquid on the doorway to the bathroom and shower curtain rod and racks for towels had either rust or again brown substance everything else was very nice like always

The Room was average, but felt clean. What made my stay great was the excellent Staff; from the friendly and extremely helpful young lady at the check in desk on my arrival day to the Breakfast lady working the next morning. They both went above and beyond in their level of service to make me want to come back!!

My pillow was "deflated", felt old/worn out. Water pressure in sink very low, but not a big deal (though shower was great!) Thought the price a little high for this facility but i know everything has gone up since Covid.

Great location and staff. Can’t say enough about the great staff! Breakfast was great. Price great. There is a fire pit and a seating area that is really nice. There are a lot of military people that stay there long term, I was told they are helping out at the border. (LOVE AND RESPECT OUR MILITARY). Hot tub was cloudy and I was creeped out due to a person with open sores on their body, so I left. Also, there was a good amount of people smoking cigarettes and pot, which I don’t like to smell.....It’s gross. With all that being said, I will stay there next time I visit my Dad.

this was a beautiful property

breakfast…. would have been great but staff boasted a full breakfast no it was definitely just a hotel breakfast. wouldn’t be saying anything if staff had not talked up the powdered eggs and dry French toast as a full spread

Good location, services within walking distance, nice pool/smoking areas. Breakfast nook was adequate and tasty. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The TV didn't work, so I fixed the cable connection myself. No big deal. Now the next person has TV
