Pet friendly, spacious rooms

The mattress were saggy. I could barely get any sleep. For some reason the property insisted on copying my credit card (with the security code) alongside my id at checkin. This sensitive information should not me copied or stored with a full copy of the ID (with my signature on it). When I raised my concern about this at checkin I was just told that it’s the hotel’s policy. Check out I asked to get the copy back and expressed that I am not ok with that procedure. The team member said: it’s ok that you are not ok with that. But it’s the policy.

The breakfast was good, eggs not quite hot, just on the warm side but everything else was excellent. Wished the small frig in the room would have had a small freezer, comes in handy to freeze ice packs while traveling. Parking was good and secure.

Didn’t like the fact that the hotel had to make a copy of both my drivers license and my credit card for their purposes and kept for a couple of days locked in the manager’s office. I know the hotel is covering their end on credit card fraud but at the same time fraud can be committed against the guest with all that information provided by the guest. Hope that info is being highly safely guarded.

The breakfast was fantastic, all of the staff, every single one, was so cool and nice and seemed happy to be there. A lot of staff remembered my husband and me too, just from chit chat at checkin and buying from the little snack section. Truly an excellent experience, very clean, the pool and spa were great, and I really CANNOT say enough about the staff!!!

The only thing was the bed was a bit firm for my liking, and the blankets weren't really soft.

I loved the bed...super comfy we had a king size bed suite which had a pull out couch and two tvs. AC worked well and a nice table. My family of 5 stayed comfortablebly in there. They have coffee and breakfast too. Indoor heated pool and jacuzzi.

I didn't care for the shower....it made some high pitched squeeling noise...I had to mess with the lever for some time before it stopped. The water temperature was great but the water pressure sucked.

The staff and facility was great. The breakfast had both hot & cold food choices.

The exit from highway 99 both northbound and southbound was confusing, especially at night. We eventually found LaQuinta Hotel from the highway 99 northbound exit onto highway 65 northbound. Returning from LaQuinta Hotel to highway 99 was also confusing.

The night clerk Victoria was very kind, friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and beautiful with all the nice features, refrigerator,TV, microwave and coffee maker.

The people above us were stomping, jumping and pounding on their floors. We couldn't sleep until they eventually stopped. Probably after they got tired and decided to fall asleep.

Staff is always friendly. When I visit, I've been able to store my bikes. Clean rooms with microwave and mini-fridge. They keep the hallways super cooled and that helps when loading and unloading luggage. The breakfast is also pretty decent (make your own belgian waffle!). They are friendly about pets as well. This is our go-to hotel in Bakersfield.

This is being picky but the indoor pool doesn't seem to be warm/heated, but they also have a hottub.

We both appreciated our stay. From walking in to the front desk, everything was perfect. Everyone was so accommodating. Very nice hotel to be dog friendly and they even had doggy pottie baggies by the front door. That says it all right there.

We didn't have a dog with us but we were very impressed with the staff how they deal with that and the guest that had dogs. They did a good job with covid restrictions on breakfast. Our room was great and as a smoker, we are always respectful to our rental car, our hotel rooms and carry our own ashtray and we appreciate that we can walk into the parking lot being aware of other people not to be in there space. Thank you for that. We will continue to stay at Wyndham hotels.

We booked a suite for 5. It was one bed, one sofabed and the cushions of the sofa. We all slept well, and one could not beat the price, including breakfast for 5, compared to 2 rooms. Convenient location, good food. The bed was comfy, the sofabed was not so good .

We had to make the sofabed and figure out where the 5th would sleep , but all worked out well. Had to get a sheet for the sofabed , because the one had a huge hole in it.

Breakfast, pet area was nice.

When I went to the room the door was part way open. I pushed on door but something was blocking it. I called for help down the hallway and a maid came to assist. It turned out to be a internet worker in the room and had the door blocked with his ladder. He moved long enough to let me and my pup in and we waited for 10 minutes in the room with him until he finished up. The staff should have been aware that work was going on in my room (109) and should have told me to wait or given me another room.
