Buena Park Grand Hotel & Suites

I feel safe here it just me and my son on the trip we’re going to Knott’s Berry Farm. We were located within 20 makes located to both SoakCity, and Knotts. Stores and restaurants for convenience of him ride with him for five blocks.

Had a hard time getting the desk clears at night to understand. There was a problem with the room the Fossett would not turn on in the tub she’s coming just turn it it will work. She’s up coming up to the room and was very mad that you can show me how to work the tub even though it’s stuck and will not turn on.  we had a suite with a fold out sofa that had no sheets or blankets  I am getting them off of my bed and give me my son when I called the front desk. It seem like I was inconveniencing desk clerk

I love the vibe of the hotel. My kids said the lobby looked like it was the tower of terror in a good way . It has a really nice wow factor with it  vaulted, ceiling Spanish architecture  the courtyard is lovely with a beautiful fountain it has a very Mediterranean fill with its palm trees limed courtyard lots other vegetation. the pool and Jacuzzi were very nice and clean The rooms are huge with a full separate living room and bedroom. the front room has a full couch that conversion into a full bed and the rooms doors are French doors style, with wooden blinds that open towards the courtyard. It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay the beds were firm but comfortable and the bedding was nice with lots of pillows. Overall my kids and I had an amazing stay and it was very relaxing and homey . It’s a block away from knotts and a 10 min drive too Disneyland if you have a car and your going too Disney I would highly recommended staying here the vale in the big room and the price can’t be beat. Just come in with the mindset of a hotel that’s in the process of rebirth. P.s The staff was really nice and accommodating

The property is under a lot of construction. It didn’t affect us in the side of building we were staying in but the building in the back was under a lot of construction during the day . The building is old and you can see the wear and tear but the new owners are fixing it up so it can be part of the Marriott chain and it looks like they’re doing a lot of work to get that to happen. I can’t wait to see what this location looks like in a year or two. The room was or a little dirty and had some wear and tear , but nothing really major. The refrigerator and microwave where dirty but nothing really major. Aging I really think that after they are done fixing it up it’s going too shine like a new penny it is a hidden gem. Just ask for a room closer too the lobby if you plan on sleeping in

Beautiful Spanish style lobby - definitely grand! The hotel interior open space/garden/pool area is like a Panama home. All the rooms have wooden shutters on the interior windows, carved wood doors with a dark stain and Spanish style plants and garden features. We had the 2 queen beds with a sofa bed suite. The front room had a door between it and the 2 queens. The queen beds were very comfortable with a light Summer comforter. Air conditioning worked well. The front room had a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and sink as well as a small round table with 2 chairs. The sofa bed is a chaise sofa (one side is a chaise) with a double bed inside. The bathroom is tiled with one sink, toilet and a tub/shower combo and the fan worked well. The whole room has laminate planks, so no need to worry so much about bed bugs and things being harbored in carpet. The closet is larger than most and is lighted. Very close to both Hwy 5 and Hwy 91.

These are just some things to know, not a true negative from me: Floors in the room are uneven - the doors on the furniture in the bedroom kept opening due to the slant in the floor. Hair dryer didn't work. Room wasn't set up for 4 people: only 2 of each towel. Had to ask for sheets and blankets for the sofa bed. We had an event to go to and were running late when we checked in (traffic in L.A.), so we didn't notice the towels and bedding until we returned at 11:45 p.m.!

Staff was great, pool area & hot tub was nice, the location was great & room size was great. Room was clean & beds were comfortable. Hotel has an old Spanish style decor & seemed to be getting some upgrades which is going to be nice. I would definitely stay there again. No signs of roaches or bed bug's, which is the first thing I look for!

Our room air temp could not be adjusted, it stayed at 61° & we darn near got hypothermia! We called the front desk @ 11pm & they quickly moved us to another room which we greatly appreciated. We slept like babies! Thankful for the quick response from the front desk.

This is a great place to stay, especially if you are visiting Knott’s Berry Farm. It’s pretty secure, it has elevators and bell carts, and there was a fridge and microwave in every room. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We felt good there, and free to walk around the property safely.

There was no AC in one room, and we were told the maintenance people needed to turn it on. It was bearable, so we just asked that it be turned on for the next day. When we arrived back, it had not been turned on. So they moved us to another room - which was a pain after a long day at Knott’s, but acceptable.

I took my family to Disneyland and all the hotels right by Disneyland were really expensive! Buena Park Grand was about a 8-12min drive depending on traffic was really good for the price. The location was amazing especially if your planning a trip to Knott's Berry Farm! The hotel was nice, but pretty old. The pool was beautiful! My children loved it! And the room were pretty nice! Overall comfortable, safe, great price and location!

I didn't care for the smell in the room and the bathtub was pretty old.

affordable and lots of space for big families.

it’s pretty outdated .. it’s smells old. we had a total of 3 rooms and they all smelled the same. The office has old couches, I sank in when I sat down. the first room we received had tape on the floor in a few different spots, the curtains had holes and the shower clogged so we had to move to another room. it didn’t smell clean or feel clean. i don’t think it’s the staff I think they just need to replace all the beds/ couches, curtains in the rooms. the sofa couch you can feel the wire.

The room was large enough to accommodate our family of 5 visiting Knotts scary Farm. It's less than a 10 minute walk from the park which is nice. The location is everything with this hotel.

It currently has quite a bit of construction right now so it isn't in the best condition in terms of being visually appealing. But I'm happy to see that they are working on improving it. We stay at this hotel at least once a year and it always serves our needs.

Beautiful & clean as always! Not to mention relaxing - no complaints here! We were on the 3rd floor and every now and then we would get a nice view of the beautiful horses from the Medieval Times place - they looked like such happy, beautiful horses! The pool was fun and the staff is great! Our room was spacious and comfy as always - I've lost count of the number of times we have stayed here, but anyways! We look forward to our next stay whenever that happens, heheheh.

Wifi was a weak, but I guess that is because we were on the 3rd floor. Usually on the 1st floor near the pool, there's no problem with the signal. But no biggie, just something minor.

I liked the Hotel and Suite I got for two nights, bed was comfortable, working Tvs, Refrigerator and microwave worked good, very quiet, no major issues.

I was disappointed the first night I stayed there that the jacuzzi was cold at 65° I did ask the front desk to turn it on and they did the second night I stayed there and was happy back up to 101° I was happy the Hotel took care of the problem.
