Calistoga Wine Way Inn

Cute and cozy atmosphere- felt very private and romantic. The snacks and water provided in the room as well as optional maid service (didn’t use them.) Allowed us to check in a hour early.

Would have liked a staff member onsite- the texting seemed like an AirBnB and unfriendly. No breakfast due to COVID but snacks provided in room. Right on the main road.

The rooms are extremely comfortable, designed with a lot of attention to detail and the inn itself is surrounded by lush greenery. The plush bed provided a cozy sanctuary after a day of wine tasting. One of the highlights of this inn is its convenient location, within easy reach of some of Napa Valley's most celebrated wineries and although they didn't provide breakfast, there were a lot of snacks to make up for it and the inn is conveniently located near a great Mexican restaurant. Whether you're a wine lover, nature enthusiast, or simply seeking a serene escape, this charming inn is a hidden gem.

The skylight in our room couldn't be covered at night and let in some light, but the hosts provided sleeping masks that could be used.

No Breakfast (still COVID protocol) but the Inn provided plenty of snacks and Kuerig coffee/drinks instead. The Inn itself is just as advertised, lots of common areas and many private shady nooks with comfortable chairs. The fireplace was super great, to relax and have a glass of the excellent wine made in the area. There are plenty of dining options from $$ to $$$$ and the Inn is surrounded by small wineries that all have tastings.

No ones fault, but construction traffic (Aug 2022) in front of the Inn started waaay too early. For other travellers, hope they finish soon!

Very conveniently located close to Lincoln, the main street of Calistoga. Restaurants, coffee shops and other attractions within easy walking distance. However, the property is right on Highway 29 and our room was at the front of the property next to the highway. Thus, there was a lot of traffic noise. There are other rooms which might have been less noisy. The garden area was surprisingly large and many areas for semi-private enjoyment away from the traffic side of the property.

We would prefer a room more removed from the traffic noise of the main highway. No access to kitchen facilities.

Gillian and Nick were gracious hosts, always available by text to answer questions. Inn was short walk from downtown. The outdoor space was fantastic. Sadly, due to COVID restrictions Inn was not able to serve breakfast or afternoon wine tasting.

Highway traffic could be a bit noisy outside.

Breakfast was advertised and in reviews previous tenants spoke about it being offered. Instead snack packs were provided due to COVID. Disappointed. Should change description on the advertisement.

Thoughtful snack packs and goodies bags. Clear welcome instructions. It's an older property with lots of charm and beautiful garden at the back.

Room is a bit smaller with tight bathroom space. Walls are thin. I could hear the snoring from next room.

Easy "check-in" with text message.

No breakfast was served. This was based on which service was used to book stay, which is dumb. Also, guests should be allowed to "check-in" once text notification has been received rather than wait until designated 3:30pm official check-in time.

We have stayed here before and they had the most amazing breakfast. We knew they wouldn't be able to do this during the pandemic but they left us a great assortment of goodies and really good coffee. I went to iron something and the iron wasn't working. I felt awful but I texted the owner at 10pm for an iron. I had an important meeting the next day. She was SO NICE and brought me one straight over at 10pm, and was so kind about it. We will definitely be back, such a great location too.

Absolutely nothing.

Great house with character, quaint and comfortable room. Appreciated the water, snack packs, refrigerator, and Keurig. Back yard setup was stunning. And great communication from the owners.

Only real complaint was traffic noise from construction vehicles on the main road. Not something the owners can control and after a while in that beautiful back garden it becomes mostly white noise.
