Art House Hotel

It is beautiful, clean and so close to everything!

We stayed 5 nights at the property and did not have our room serviced at all. We hung out the door hanger twice requesting service and even spoke to the front desk with no response or results. We had to walk to front desk and request clean towels, coffee, toilet paper, and tissue. These items were handed to me and I carried them to our room. Upon checking out, the manager asked about our stay and I shared the information which was verified by the desk clerk standing nearby. He offered to take 100$ off our bill(which I had not requested). I would rather have had my room serviced.

Property was new and clean for the most part. Room was spacious. Location was great, Liked the table and mirror in hallway which added more prep space. Would definitely come back.

Room has some dust on the floor. Staff cleaned floor right away. Widow was missing handle. Parking spaces were very tight. Bathroom since did not have much space. Despite these issues, stay was great and we would come back.

Great location, we could easily walk to restaurants and shops. Parking was secure (although the garage is a little tight). The room we had was very spacious with modern furniture.

The rooms are not very well insulated from noise (especially from other rooms). The kitchen had decent appliances but wasn’t well stocked (ie no dish towels, no salt/pepper even though there were shakers, no laundry detergent for the washer in the room). The cleaning could have been better. While the room is modern and looks nice the finishes aren’t great. You can see it on counters and on some of the furniture. The staff aren’t well trained, don’t know how to work things in the room, don’t accommodate requests that you made well in advance and they have to argue about it (which isn’t pleasant), keys aren’t made for the duration of the stay. The bath towels were tiny.

We enjoyed everything about the Art House Hotel experience. The staff were amazing. As we went to our room my wife and I both commented on how the lady that checked us in was so personable it was like talking with my cousin. The room was BIG. Kitchen, balcony, vaulted ceiling and Huge center windows. The bed was soooooo comfortable. I have a problem with pillows. All are uncomfortable and I have yet to find a pillow that I can sleep on comfortably..... except at the Art House of course! I was half tempted to tell them to charge me for it but with my luck it would've turned into a $400 purchase. The four top restaurants in Santa Rosa were literally 2 min walks from the hotel. There is street parking with cameras for safety but opted for the $18 overnight parking in garage just for my piece of mind. The painting in the hallway right across from our door was a work of art that we paused to soak in. This was one of our best overnight adventures and we will be seeing them in October for sure.

There is construction happening and our room was on the side where all the action was happening. We NEVER get to sleep in so that was the only disappointment. But if you're an early riser it won't be a problem.

The very best things about this property are the mattresses, pillows and bed linens. Amazing. I’ve stayed at far higher end hotels and never had better pillows or a more comfortable mattress. I’d go back just for these.

The Nespresso machine in my room didn’t work and even if it had, I only wanted it for hot water for my tea which would have tasted like coffee anyone. Not good for non-coffee drinkers who enjoy their morning tea. With the extremely low water pressure in the shower it took me quite a long time to rinse shampoo and conditioner from my head. I used far more water than necessary. For water pressure and water conservation a more concentrated shower head would be much better than the rain style. A make up mirror would be helpful.

Amazing location for downtown, staff really helpful and friendly, on check in we had a couple of issues which were resolved very quickly. We stayed in a king suite and there was every thing there that you would want, wished we could have stayed longer.

The quality of the breakfast did let the hotel down to be honest, I was told it was "complimentary" even if that was the case the quality of the croissant and English muffin really would only give it a 1star where as the hotel I would give 5star so bit of a mismatch

The customer service (Ruth, Marjia, Daisy) was tremendous. The facility (king suite with kitchen) was spacious. Bed was super comfy. Bathroom was large and everything you'd want in a bathroom. The kitchenette was a huge bonus!

The rain shower shower head was awful, there was low water pressure and little water coming out. There were no bowls in the kitchen - salad, soup, anything with a lip. Asked for an electric kettle as I am a tea drinker, and was told I could boil water in pots available. Then Ruth fixed that and got me an electric kettle that I used more than once every day.

My recent stay at Art House Hotel was truly exceptional. The complimentary room upgrade provided was a good perk and the spacious room was a perfect retreat. The standout, however, was the warm hospitality from Misha and Theresa. Since we were leaving during the dawn, they were kind enough to prepare breakfast box for us. Their attentive and friendly service added a personal touch to my experience. I highly recommend Art House Hotel for a remarkable stay that combines luxury and genuine care.

It is still a pretty new property so it’s very clean and not older at all. It is so beautiful and modern. Exceptional attention to detail. I got a mini studio (Urban Studio) and it came with a full kitchen, fully stocked with cookware and dishes, a toaster, salad bowl, wine glasses etc. It even had a Nespresso machine and creamer! It was like a mini apartment with a dining room table, 2 couches (one was a pull out), a coffee table, a bed, a flat screen, a dresser, a lounge chair with an ottoman and the room still had so much space on the beautiful floor! Your kids could bring toys and play comfortably without getting in your way. I even had a place to set up my computer and work. And don’t get me started on the 2 huge walk in closets with another dresser, safe, ironing board and more inside! The bathroom was super nice and clean and fully stocked with even makeup remover cloths. It was a fully ready to go mini apartment and I am so glad I got it even for one night! It is also tucked away in a side neighborhood so it is very quiet but near a lot of restaurants and activities in Santa Rosa. It is next door to a tall apt complex and you wouldn’t even know it. So quiet! No issues! Just overall a really amazing place that you would think would be too expensive however it is so affordable and will make for a super pleasant vacation! Do not pass over this place!!!!

I can honestly say there is nothing I didn’t like about this property or my stay. They don’t have room service if you’re wanting something like that but they did have juices, drinks, snacks, beer and wine at the front desk area so you’re still good there. But honestly we didn’t need it so it didn’t matter.

The staff here were amazing! A huge shout out and hug to Michelle and Ruth at the Front Desk and Juana, head of Housekeeping. My partner had a bad fall a few blocks away and broke his elbow. We had to take him to the ER and they had to perform emergency surgery the following day. These ladies were SO helpful, compassionate and were all around there for us and anything we needed. FABULOUS customer service! My faith in humanity has been restored!!!
