Microtel Inn & Suites Modesto

The front desk clerk Kendra was rude the moment we walked in, not only to us but to another family checking in. She said regardless of what time our reservation said to check in, she was not going to check in anyone because her computer was down. She said that happens often. Absolutely no customer service so sad.

Is close to my sons home, and all things . Staff is always friendly, hotel always looks and feels clean. Most of all it’s peaceful when I stay there no matter if it’s busy or not with other guest. I will keep returning to this hotel as my go to stay when I come to visit my son and grandson.

Honestly nothing so far. I work for a hotel so I know what needs to be done and they GET IT!!! :)

Room service did not make my bed. I had NOT put the sign to be left alone, and I was gone for most of the day. I came back by 9pm and the bed was not made and the trash was still full. MAYBE there wasn’t enough time. MAYBE I had to ask for it. Was not a big deal, but odd. I’m not used to that at a hotel.

Check in was easy, very nice lady. They have 24 hour snacks. Room is spacious. The hotel is close to the freeway if you are traveling through.

No eating places are within safe walking distance at night. Although the room size is great, you hear the freeway noise. The elevator is scary slow. The maids woke me up twice before 9AM for no reason. In my opinion, $15 over priced per night.

As a business traveler, the room was to my liking. I requested a room toward the rear of the complex on the upper floor and was pleased the hotel honored my request. For this hotel, rooms in the 320-321 numbers were quiet away from freeway noise.

The Internet was not working nor was the hard-line telephone. To reach the front desk, I called via my cellphone. Not a game stopper though.

We enjoyed the stay , room was clean and comfortable. Also front desk worker Kendra was super Friendly,Nice,Polite and very Courteous with us when checking in and checking out of our room. She made us feel very welcomed. All in all we had a great experience on our visit. We are looking forward to staying there again for any future travels. =)

Everything was great.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are casual but clean. We felt welcome using the large dining area one evening to gather with other out-of-town family. Location is close to restaurants and groceries without going into Modesto. This was a perfect location for visiting our parents at Samaritan Village.

Some of the motel could use updating, and other parts were being renovated. But the staff does a good job of keeping it clean.

The beds were very comfortable and staff really friendly. It was an unexpected stay due to weather and they got us right into a room. Outside had a grassy patch for my dog and felt safe which was really important when you have to walk a dog. breakfast was nice too. The place was very clean and quiet.

The rooms were a little on the small side. The room rates were more expensive then all our travels over several other states but it is Calif. I would stay again if I couldn’t make it home.

Well-priced traveller hotel. Easy location off motorway. Meticulously clean. Room tidy. lovely staff. We skipped the complimentary breakfast and went down the road to Huckleberry’s for brunch which was delicious!

the customer service from the front desk clerk, I understand policies but her way of talking to customers was truly unprofessional, was on the phone with and she wouldn’t let me speak, she kept cutting me off and trying to hang up the phone as I was explaining something, I’ve never had an issue before but this makes me re think any future stays
