Quality Inn Chico

This is a basic motel, but it has many good points which make it a great choice and great value for the money. It has a great location in downtown Chico, a short walk from numerous eateries and the campus. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is nice pool, rooms are clean and comfortable with some extra care taken with nice decor elements like pleasant indirect lighting behind the bed and small adjustable reading lights. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. There is a complementary breakfast which is very basic but it is something if necessary. This place is excellent for the price. We have stayed here several times, first in 2019.

The worst part is the limited parking.

This hotel is great! We were traveling this time for leisure. I was not expecting it to be this nice for the price. The location is awesome! It is so convenient to be able to walk to so many restaurants downtown. We were even able to walk through lower Bidwell Park. The staff were very friendly and efficient! The rooms are nicely updated with comfortable bed and pleasing decor. Nice surprise to have daily cleaning again after Covid.

The late-night city noise is not so great due to it being downtown, but it is well worth it due to convenience! The second night we ran our fan on high and the white noise counteracted the city sounds.

On check-in, I used my military ID and was informed by the receptionist that it is their policy always to provide veterans a special room rate, but because booking.com had already charged me for the room, I was told that the veterans discount was not available when the room is prepaid unless the discount is processed at the time of payment. I believe that Booking.com should have disclosed this at the time my reservation was made. Because they did not I was not allowed the discount I would have normally received. I requested that booking.com credit back my card for the amount of the discount and I am awaiting their reply.

Good location to Chico state and downtown.

This is a very nice place to stay. Pony, greeted is with warmth and genuine interest in helping us have a good stay. The room is nicely arranged and had everything we needed. Being on a relatively busy street didn't impact our ability to sleep well. It was nice to have a pool outdoors to cool off in. The shower has 2 options, regular and rain. The toiletries are good, and the bed is comfortable. We would stay again if in the area. The vanity area is well lit.

Great location, down town, staff was very nice and welcoming. Very quick In responding to any needs we had.

upon arrival I noticed in our room, there was a bobby pin left on the counter in the bathroom, which at first made me question if it was really cleaned or not. But after a quick inspection, the room was in tiptop shape. There was also a loud noise from a pipe or water heater that you can hear all night which was kind of annoying but I personally didn’t feel like making a big deal about it or moving rooms so I made it doable.

room was very clean and the staff was super nice. The breakfast was really good and had really stepped it up from the last time I stayed there. The location was great and it was super easy to walk downtown to do stuff.

I don't really have very many complaints. One thing was that was frustrating was that room keeping kept knocking on our door even though we had our do not disturb sign on the door and there was a group of people that hung out in front of their room and made a lot of noise at night.

This large, reasonably-priced hotel is a popular destination with vacationers, business and work travelers to Chico. It is very well located near the University and midtown locations. The hotel offers breakfast and some additional popular eateries are a short walking distance from the location.

Finding a parking space in the lot can be a challenge due to the many cars and work vehicles.

Nice location, for our trip it was centrally located. We attended my daughters mba graduation and were able to visit at a close by restaurant my step niece and her fiancé.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. We were impressed with Alicia (oh gosh hope we got her name correct). She was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We will go back and stay there just because of her.

Check in was seamless and aside from one elderly woman, the staff were compassionate and kind including the housekeepers who were very attentive and efficient. The rooms were up to date with very comfortable beds and pillows. The shower was really nice! The breakfast selection great and the dining area was very clean. all round my stay was great!
