Rodeway Inn Chico University Area

Newly remodeled room was provided to us. The shower installation was a little wonky with you needing to be in the shower to turn on the water without an area to step aside to avoid the water while adjusting the temperature. Very tasteful remodel with a sleek modern look. Plenty of plug-ins and ports for electronics. Owner brought us freshly picked peaches from the property tree shortly after we got to our room!! They were DELICIOUS! A nice treat for weary travelers!

The shower situation might need to be reworked. Not a deal breaker though!

I booked this room for a night away from the house. The value was great and met my budget restriction needs. Staff was friendly and professional. My room was reasonably clean with only minor things found that I could overlook. The sheets and towels were perfect and the other amenities were in great shape. I enjoyed my stay.

I cut my finger on the handle to the shower, but that was minor. It was difficult to find proper water temperature at first, but I figured it out.

We booked this room for a graduation. While the location was central and the room was clean, the cost did not match the value provided. This seemed like a Motel 6, but charged the rate of a 5 star hotel.

No pool. Poor breakfast. Lousy coffee. For nearly $360 a night, I expected more. Felt like this was a ripoff taking advantage of Chico graduation,

was really supprised very clean NO bugs!!! a huge plus considering other places near at higher price me my wife and daughter have stayed at quite a few other hotels in the area and all are way more expensive two other hotels had bugs at almost twice what we paid at rodeway inn our only complaint is the tub wouldnt drain and it was so late by the time we got in we didnt even say anything to staff but great room nice and quite we had a late check out with no problems we will deffintaly stay here again thank you

Our room has had some very nice recent updates. Fresh paint, tile, flooring, counters, trim etc. Very clean and comfortable room! Bed was great! Quiet, restful location (some traffic noise, but not unreasonable). Parking right outside the door to the room. Face lift and updated treatments to the outside. We were pleasantly surprised given some of the previous comments from over a year ago. It was fantastic to find such a nice place to stay at a very reasonable price! We would stay here again!

Rooms were very clean, hardwood floors, roomy. Very nice people and hard working staff.

More expensive motels aren't as nice.

Great location just outside of the central downtown area, within an easy walk. Registration was quick, polite, helpful for my one night stay.. The Inn is located within a large gated urban property, with rooms arrayed side by side on one level in a large semicircular fashion. This makes for easy entry and parking generally directly in front of your room. The rooms are clean, facilities all in good working order, and I found the staff in this family owned and operated Inn to be pleasant, discreet, helpful.

Actually there’s nothing I disliked I think it’s a prime spot! especially for discreet get togethers!

Very friendly staff and nice rooms and very peaceful and quiet stay. I would definitely recommend the Rodeway Inn to friends and family. 💖💚💙💜💛
