Holiday Inn El Monte - Los Angeles, an IHG Hotel

Loved the feel of the place. It was quiet and upscale inside. Nobody was making a ruckus and / or being disrespectful. The lobby was beautiful, the rooms were comfy and clean, and the jazz playing throughout the hotel was great. Staff was kind checking in. We got a last-minute deal on this place for one nice and only paid $130 ish, and it was absolutely worth it😊 Hotel room was comfy and quiet. The ac in the room worked great, and the sleep was good.

I didn't like that there is no breakfast unless you pay $16 a person. This is an upper scale hotel, and they can absolutely afford to do a free breakfast in the mornings like Best Western. Other than that I don't have any complaints.

I love the room because it has microwave, nice bathroom too! clean….

the staff… I arrived at midnight and there was a old Mexican lady in the front desk that was really rude… she seems super unwelcoming that made me felt pretty uncomfortable..even the guard by the entrance wasn’t helpful when I got in .. I saw great reviews of this hotel about the staff, but it wasn’t at all… the room is the only reason I’ll give this hotel a 8

Check in was very easy and everything was well explained. Loved the breakfast and how well the staff treated my family. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Security guard did not greet or intoduce himself before yelling at us to move our car. We were looking for the check in desk and parked in the wrong area, we understood and moved our car but the security yelled rudely and did not allow us to speak. Definitely the only "bad" experience there, but it gave us the wrong idea about the whole place itself since that was our first interaction.

I liked how clean everything was, the staff was nice and helped out a lot.

I didn’t like that other clients where at the parking lot, hanging around been so loud, after midnight when I just wanted to get some rest. They were been loud, I’m not sure if it’s something the hotel could of done, but it was still frustrating. I didn’t like that the hotel didn’t offer breakfast but it’s also understandable, no restaurant in the location.

The area, the staff and customer service.

On that, the room did not have a sofa. Before booking this room. The website said it had two beds, a micro way, a fridge, etc... and a sofa, but when i checked in, there was no sofa. The weird thing is that when i checked the description of the room, it was describing a different room than the one i picked.

Great location. Close to freeway access. The hotel staff was exuberant and pleasant upon arrival. Check-in was a breeze. Considering it was storming when we arrived, the front desk personnel offered us towels to dry off. In addition to that, they also provided extra coffee for the morning. I found this to be inviting as other hotels normally do not offer it (you have to ask). These individuals far exceeded my expectations.

i had a online reservation,when receptionist looked at mine info automatically ask me for extra charge 70 dollars for some fee for gambling what i didnt know anything about that,she loked me like a robot and demand cash in order to stay in hotel with out explanations,very rude and then gave me a room but keys didntt work,i had to come bak down with luggage from 3 floor,and then she changed my room and send me to 4 floor and gave me new room and same keys didnt work,i was very upset after that,came back down she was acting like nothing happened,that kind a girl would never work at front desk at mine hotel

nice and clean. staff was very nice and location was ok.

I stayed on the 3rd floor. it was a little noisy at times maybe with some renovations going on. also the people above me made a lot of noise. Seems like they where pounding the floor as they walked across it. This would start towards the evening.

I like my room untill I hold up the tongs for the ice bucket. its never clean or change to the new one because it was dirty with some food or I dont know what stick to it. its gross me out.

The parking is enough to accommodate more quests.

The bathroom is not functioning wells. During taking showers, the curtains will not stop water going over bathroom. Some water leaks observed in bathrooms. Noisy and you can hear next room bathroom while they are using.
