Sonesta Emeryville San Francisco Bay Bridge

The price is what reeled us in. much cheaper than surrounding properties for the 3 nights we needed. Hotel lobby is large and and clean. Room was comfortable. window opened for fresh air. Bathroom was large, shower was ok but dated. Parking was great, lot seemed safe enough. We would stay again.

Bathrooms are a bit dated. Shower head sprayed. The first room we were put into had an adjoining room and we could head a man talking on the phone for hours while his child screamed and screeched at a very loud tv set. We were moved but because the hotel was full, it was to the other side of the screaming child room. this time no adjoining room door. made all the difference. Always ask for a room without an adjoining door.

the property was clean, and some what safe. The rooms were great, and comfortable.

Our shower did not drain when showering. But did get a complimentary breakfast because of it. It had poor lighting in the back where handicap parking was located. when I had to go to my truck at night to get something, I stepped off the side walk and then I tripped and fell over the cement parking block. (hurting myself really bad as I fell) because it was so dark outside with no lighting. You need more lighting in the back by handicap parking. I didn’t report it because it was late at night and I just wanted to get back to my room.

They were always helpful at the front desk. We missed our flight and they even able to help us stay another day without any issues which was very much appreciated and made a difficult situation much better. We purchased 2 rooms which the room with the 2 beds was spacious for my mom and 2 kids. The other room was a King bed room and that was small but manageable for just my husband and I. The hotel appears to have been update in the last few years but there's definitely some wear and tear happening but overall nothing major. The location was wonderful to the shopping. We easily could walk all around the area with so many dining and shopping options. We loved the Public Market!

There were some interesting guests that would stay there with some loud noises at earlier am hours and at late night times. There was a situation where a guest was being kicked out of the hotel by cops. I never felt unsafe but there was some questionable activities happening at all hours. A guy made cat calls at me when leaving the elevator.

Location was great, and the room was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Also flexible with regard to a late check-out which became even later due to external circumstances.

Only thing that I didn't like was that staff was not available to help with getting the luggage inside and to my room. I checked in on my own with luggage for two people and I had to get the luggage cart, and then use it by myself which was unwieldy and burdensome. I would expect there to be someone to help with this, but there wasn't (I asked).

Front desk service was great - friendly staff, very accommodating to last minute extra requests. Breakfast and coffee bar had delicious selections tho not very quick service. Parking was easy and convenient. I got a super-quiet room which was extra helpful.

No good info about what is located within walking distance. Allows dogs but no info on where to walk the dog, and should have poop bag supply. Pricing in snack shop was very high but breakfast and coffee bar choices were yummy.

great location to shopping and food. on site parking available and never had a problem finding a close parking space to entrance. room was very clean and bed was comfy. very quiet. food and bar onsite but didn’t get a chance to take advantage.

staff was friendly but always seemed to be on their phones and you had to really try to get their attention. water pressure was good but took awhile to get hot water.

Everything is nice. Great location with shopping center and restaurant nearby. Walking distance to Amtrak (but still need to get Uber if you have large baggage). TV and wifi work excellent. The hotel have luggage deposit service for free of charge.

Some staff act weird and give up an unhelpful keep saying no I don’t know when I asked about how to go to Emeryville Amtrak station. It’s ok that he has no idea but his manner could be better.

it was nice, quiet and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. The bed was very comfortable and room was perfect. In addition, it is across the street from shopping and restaurants.

The restaurant hours were limited but there are options at the Bay Street shopping center across the street for those that don’t have a car.

Very accommodating due to my request to be near the elevator and early check in due to my illness. The bar gave me a ginger ale when he saw I wasn't feeling well, also supplied me with a cup.

Waited 20min in line to buy a bag of chips ... having to walk all around the building at night to enter the hotel lobby, which I found difficult for a disabled person. Like staying at the Sonesta

The location was great within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and Trader Joe’s.

We scheduled housekeeping for after 1pm as we were getting ready for an event in the morning and the housekeeper shows up in the morning. She said no one told her about our request.
