This place is in one word amazing,.it is not only located idyllically surrounded by mountains, lakes hiking trails etc. it offers a fantastic spa (pool, hottub, sauna etc. where you were offered sandals, towels , robe etc. complimentary) . The restaurant has a great menu , also vegan or vegetarian options, the food is very tasteful and the excellent choice of breakfast is a great start of the day. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I travelled a lot but this place really stands out and I will definitely return , highly recommended!

The view is amazing. My wife and I had one of the best massages we've ever had at their spa. The swimming pool was heated, which was very nice. They also have a jacuzzi, but it was filled up with people most of the time that we were there. The trout pond in the middle of the property is beautiful. It's within close proximity to several hiking trails and all three lakes. The town of June Lake, which is pretty close to the hotel, is nice and has a couple of nice cafeterias and restaurants. There is an in-house restaurant, which has pretty good food, but is very pricy.

They apparently have some problems with black bears coming on to the property to rummage through the garbage, so moving around outside at night is not advisable. As I pointed out before, the restaurant is pretty expensive.

Didn’t have the breakfast. Did have dinner & had a special dinner on the outside deck with 10 friends. The food was good and waiter was pleasant & efficient.

Check in clerk did not give us info for housekeeping. I called about room cleaning & towels and was told rooms are not cleaned daily and about putting out trash, etc. I told them I had not been told that or given anything in writing. After my call I did receive an apology and prompt delivery of fresh towels.W

The main lobby , pond and the rooms were very nice. The room was clean with a nice shower and bath Tub with jets. The balcony view was nice. Nice big gym. Beautiful views. Fairly close to June lake and brewery .

The pool was cold , even though it was indoors. The jacuzzi area was kinda run down with wood panels below the window. There was a foam in the jacuzzi that had a yellow tint to it.

Beautiful resort in a great location adjacent to June Lake. The theme of the hotel is natural wood and nature design; individual condo type units are very comfortable & spacious. The restaurant was excellent. We had diner & breakfast. They have a fabulous indoor pool & gym, which we didn't have the time to use.

The facility is not actually located on June Lake, but is a short drive away. Otherwise, there was nothing not to like.

Room was clean, warm and had a fridge and coffee maker. There's also a little furnace that operates on a dial timer. Beds were comfortable but not the warmest so either put the kids in warm PJ's or turn up the temp at night to keep them from getting cold. Parking was plentiful. There's a whirlpool tub which is nice for a hot bath after a day on the slopes. Restaurant is lovely with large viewing windows so there isn't a bad table in there. Food was good and serving sizes generous. Reservations are recommended there. We unfortunately didn't make it to the pool, hot tub or steam room but the pictures of them look amazing! Nice that there is a spa on site. We had to leave early when family member got injured. Resort was so kind and offered to credit us a night. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!!!

I just wish we could have stayed longer as we had originally planned. It would have been nice to use the amenities but as it was we were only there 1 night before we had to leave due to injury. That's not the resort's fault and when I checked out early, they immediately offered to ask the manager for a credit. They did this without my requesting it. So kind!

Fantastic location, just below the mountains and around the small pond. The wooden bungalows do have a noise problem: if you're downstairs, you hear everything going on upstairs. Really good spa (included in the room price).

The restaurant is not up to the standard of the facility: pretty high prices, and really low quality. For example, as vegetarians, we ordered a salad and were given ready-made salad from the supermarket. The restaurant is really what disappointed us about this otherwise very lovely resort.

We ate dinner twice at the resort and the food was delicious both nights. The first night we had not made reservations so we sat at the bar. This actually turned out to be a lot of fun. We had an upbeat banter going on with the bartender that elevated the evening. We visited the spa the next day and although we were not able to book massages (I recommend you book that service before you arrive) we were given access to all the amenities, including steam room and sauna. Again, the staff was open, generous and fun! We saw deer every night grazing on the front of the property, cautious but comfortable enough to fill their bellies. Front desk staff also deserve a shout out, they were welcoming, informative and gracious! If you are fortunate enough to get a room, hooray for you!!!!

I have no complaints.

Chocolate Chip Cookies on check-in was GREAT. Room & Restaurant both very good. Clean, comfortable, plenty of ammenities.

At $300 a night we shouldn't have to do our own dishes nor strip the bed and bundle the laundry. Providing robes to go to/from the spa would have been nice, or even for use in lounging around. June Lake doesn't offer much in dining choices. Would be nice if the Eagle Landing restaurant offered a wider dinner selection. We probably would have eaten there every night!

No openings for my grandmother. Seeing that it was last minute and we had no reservation is acceptable. We are Japanese and come from a culture of bathhouses, if your property management are able to incorporate something along the lines of an “onsen”, with the majestic mountain scenery, it would bring a relaxing natural spring feeling in all guests. Thank you.
