Excellent value, clean room, very friendly staff, cozy lobby area, included breakfast, great location near restaurants and cafe. Comfortable bed. A nice, privately owned hotel. Not a luxury experience, but a very solid option for travelers on a budget. Also, I loved the old school Mario Lanza era music playing at breakfast.

Everything was clean, but some things felt a little worn or old. This isn’t really much of a complaint, especially for the price. The place felt clean and tidy, but would benefit from a light renovation. Coat of paint, replace/refinish some furniture and fixtures, small stuff.

This is the third time I have stayed at this adorable cosy inn in Mammoth Lakes. I wouldn't have returned again and again if it weren't for the amazing experience each and every stay. The staff are so warm and welcoming, the rooms are nicely decorated, and the daily breakfast is prepared with love. On top of everything, the location is central, you can walk to the shops/restaurants easily, and the town trolley stop is just a short 1 min walk away. Bed and breakfast like this is hard to come by these days, and I am so happy to have found this gem.

None.

Best host ever! We all loved Lannnie! She was the nicest, most helpful host anywhere on our road trip and possibly anywhere we have stayed. We got great suggestions for places to eat, visit and stay next - all of which were ideal. Other guests seemed notably nice too something about the area or our hosts influence. Room was big comfortable and everything worked.

Our particular room had a thin party wall which meant we needed to be really quiet later in the evening, although as with all guests, she was very nice about it!

Great value for money, super comfortable, amazing breakfast and insanely friendly staff. This was a great spot for a weekend ski trip centrally located in town.

Not much to complain about. Our heater needed attention at one point but was promptly fixed. Hot tub being outside was a little tricky but ultimately worth it to have a nice soak after a day of skiing. Definitely recommend this place overall. This isn't a luxury hotel but you don't need one when you're up to rip the pow

Charming place with a nice room. We liked the variety of beds) One bed was too soft, but still ok to sleep for a couple days. We had our own kitchenette, so it's possible to cook if you want to, the room has kitchenware. It was very warm and cozy, we had a nice fireplace in the room and extra blankets. The breakfast was the best in this place, we stayed for 2 nights and every time we had smth new, very tasty and you have what to choose on your own taste.

Parking place is limited. We came after 6 pm and found that everythyng was busy, in any case we parked across the street but just to notice that parking spot is not huge. The door of our room was a little bit difficut to close, be sure that you really close it ))

Room was spacious and cozy. Contact-less check-in was w/out issue. Breakfast biscuits were hearty and coffee was tasty. Availability of small microwave and refrigerator/freezer was appreciated. Proprietors, while not seen, were very responsive through all virtual, on-line messages.

Room was at top of stairs next to road. Heard every arriving guest throughout the night. TV only received one channel. Room was heated with a stand-alone, faux potbelly gas stove in corner of room - dangerously close to the window curtains. Blackout curtains, same as over larger window, are needed near entry door due to bright lights outside illuminating the Cinnamon Bear sign.

I came late but the proprietor clearly explained everything and sent welcome messages. I stayed for 3 nights to cycle in the area. The first day Queen Elizabeth died. Being British-born all I wanted was a cup of tea. The proprietor boiled a kettle of water for the tea and turned up the sound on the TV so I could watch tributes on ABC News. I appreciate the kindness shpwn. It was good to have a hot tub each might after cycling and glad it is open until 10 pm. The breakfasts were different each day and gave me energy. My room was quiet at the back - small but practical.

The cereals were all sweet. It would be nice to have puffed wheat or oats unsweetened to eat cold, rather than porridge for the microwave that is sweetened. Some plain yogurt would have been good too.

location is really great. The free breakfast every morning was DELICIOUS and satisfying. The staff is so incredibly nice. They have one of the hottest hot tubs which is amazing after a day on the slopes. The price can’t be beat!!!!

They recently got new owners and made some upgrades, decor is better. now have mini fridge and microwave in room which is awesome, but Still could use more work/upgrades. There were empty water bottles under the bed and a tube under the sink incase of leakage. Pillows aren’t comfy.

Lonnie is the most welcoming and helpful innkeeper ever! Breakfast especially the french toast and the spinach/cheese rolls. One bed was excellent. Good View of trees and snow.

Distance from bus stop and ski area, so really you have to drive there. One of the beds was not comfortable. The toilet cistern was faulty, but Lonnie said the maintenance guy would fix it when he came. Amid apologies. The jacuzzi has no chance of being used this side of Easter, soonest.

We stayed here while exploring places in the Eastern Sierras. I felt comfortable at Cinnamon Bear Inn from the get go. There wasn’t anyone in the office when we arrived, but we felt welcome by the hand decorated envelope they left our key in. The room we had was newly redecorated and was comfortable and clean. The innkeepers prepare a homemade hot breakfast. They change the menu daily and really try to come up with original ideas to serve. If my husband wasn’t eagerly waiting for me to come out so we could drive to some of the mountain lakes as well as the mountains themselves ( they’re amazing). I could have sat around chatting with the innkeeper. I’m not sure but she might be named Lauren. She knows a lot about the area and seems to enjoy introducing people to its highlights. If I come back to Mammoth Lakes, I would stay again at the Cinnamon Bear Inn.

It is good news for future travelers that remodeling is still taking place upstairs. Although it isn’t a lot of noise, one can definitely hear the workmen
