We have always wanted to stay at the lodge, but have not had the opportunity during high season as the prices are high. We were able to secure a room last minute on our way home from camping in Yosemite. The property is in the best possible location in mammoth (IMO). Shopping restaurants, bars and ski lift located on property. we have been on property many time but this was the first time we stayed overnight.
The only reason for an 8 score is because the bed in this particular unit was awful. After 3 nights of camping we were looking forward to a comfortable evening and the bed unfortunately was very hard.

Great spot!!! We were van lifing it through NorCal and after visiting Mammoth decided we had to stay a night. We were fortunate to get a room here. Staff was awesome upon arrival, super friendly and full of suggestions. Rooms are great with a full kitchen and deep tub (bath water was able to get super cold!). The pool was nice but too many kiddos for us. Tons of options for food and booze all within a few steps of the room. Highly recommend! We spent the next day at Convict Lake and it was so awesome (photo attached)!!
The only AC in the room is a portable unit which doesn’t reach the bedroom. Fortunately the weather was nice and we had the window open.

Perfect location, great facilities. Rooms were really good size and had everything that you needed. Would definitely recommend, especially if you can time it when there’s an event in the village.
Only downside was that it was very hot in the bedroom as we were facing the sun during the day, although they did provide ‘portable’ aircon unit. Maybe get a room not facing the pool in the summer.

Location is amazing. The lodge is in ideal proximity to everything we wanted to experience. The staff were very friendly and were able to answer all of our questions. The room was spacious and had a nice floor plan. Pool was great! We are already talking about our next adventure to Mammoth and will definitely be staying at The Village Lodge!
The room was in good condition, but it could use a little TLC. The locks to front entrance and patio were very difficult to engage. Nothing major, but a bit of notice to these small things would take this place over-the-top.

The bed was comfy and seemed very clean, ceiling fan above bed was nice. Overall space had everything we needed and looked, felt and smelled clean. I enjoyed soaking in Nice big clean comfy tub. Employees were very nice and helpful. It was also very nice that there were restaurants and shops so close!
There was only one bath towel in bathroom...we used the pool towels provided and it worked out. The biggest down side is that it was quite a long walk to our room from elevator, and halls felt like a sauna! (3rd floor) So every time we left or came back we got sweaty. Also...there were no carts available to bring our luggage and groceries back and forth, so we had to make multiple trips down this long hot hall. I recommend they have carts available...we would have been less irritated with the walk to our room. Unfortunately...we had to leave early due to breathing issues I was having at that elevation.

Love the location, super convenient , near almost everything we needed for being a first timer at Mammoth and the staff at the hotel, they were friendly and quick to get things done and solve situations, great customer service .. Also I want to emphasize acknowledging Sonia our housekeeper she was amazing, she took care of us, her attitude both days was incredible, she truly loves her job( it’s a hard work that no one really appreciates or pays attention to it but coming back to a clean organized room gives us mentally peace and gets rid of anxiety), she would ask what else can she do for us repeatedly and she made sure we felt welcomed and encourage us to come back and we will!! I have shared this to other families, snowboarders that love going to Big Bear or Wrightwood but I tell them is definitely worth the drive and time to stay in this hotel..Thank you all for being mindful of us!!
I wish the heater worked better or faster, the hair dryer didn’t work when I needed it but because the actual plug wasn’t working, we left to the mountains and when we came back it was fixed but I had to leave with my hair wet , wish you guys offered a continental breakfast ( would’ve payed more no problem)

We were up-graded to a suite which fit six people! It was huge! We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchenette and a "living room" and a small deck! All that for a third of the price! The central location was wonderful! The neighborhood restaurants (Campo, Gomez, Old New York Bagel & Deli) are quite good.
The electronic doors which required the room's key card seemed to work off and on. Also, the parking garage is a bit tight for some vehicles. The various floor levels are a bit confusing. The first floor is really the second floor because the first floor is where street level stores are found. Also, this hotel does not have its own restaurant. A small air conditioning unit tried in vain to keep the room cool but luckily we didn't really need it and the ceiling fans did a great job!

The first minute in the lobby we were greeted by Layla the assistant manager. She was super kind and professional and very helpful. We stayed in room 3215 which was so wonderful. We got there on 9/25/21 and the gentleman who helped us check in was instrumental in us getting our excellent room. Its almost the nicest room we have ever rented. Its a large condo with a full kitchen and an amazing balcony that overlooks the shops and plaza below. Next time we would get the room above ours because we did not need the extra bedroom. The master bedroom and bathroom were top shelf also. We had coffee and breakfast and dinners all within the hotel complex. It was really easy and convenient. The pool was nice and the hot tubs were excellent also. With 3 hot tub locations we were able to enjoy one, just by ourselves. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay with a super friendly and helpful staff. Layla was even nicer when we checked out. We would stay here again for sure
We are old and I would have liked a handle in the shower and some gripper strips on the ground of the shower. I felt a little slippery and its an all glass enclosure. Everything was so nice I almost hate to mention this small problem.

Spacious apartment well located in Mammoth Lakes. We stayed here as our base into Yosemite, much better drive and approach to see more of Yosemite than coming in from the west.
The underground parking was tight, and the air conditioning in summer was poor, appreciate its not a problem most of the year but we didn’t sleep well and the apartment was still very warm versus one mobile air con unit for a two bed apartment!

This property is awesome, it’s right in the middle of everything. They have a pool, fire pits, cornhole, stores and restaurants are super close. My kids loved having the extra space with a 2 bedroom condo. The pool has two hot tubs so it was nice the kids got to enjoy one for a little bit. The layout is great! Rooms were clean and spacious. They loved having the balcony also. I can’t wait to come back and stay again for longer.
The parking garage and directions we were given were not clear. The parking garage is underground. The spaces are very tight. We also had to call to get bedding for the sofa bed.
