The location is outstanding for many tourist attractions Great breakfast place next door Masons & across the road Pinecroft, Staff were lovely & friendly V comfy bed & clean room & well equipped bathroom Coffee at reception good bit only in the morning would have been good if all day as in room option not great

One old lift to service 9 floors meant long delays for lift Small room with no fridge or kettle Initially only had two towels & one coffee cup & pod for three of us I mentioned it at reception and this was quickly remedied

The hotel location is near the Powell BART station...only a 5 minute walk. The front desk agent Ariel was very welcoming, professional and friendly. I felt safe inside the hotel and guests staying at the hotel were friendly.

There are some homeless vagrants in the area who are under the influence of drugs and bothering people for money while others were openly injecting each other with syringes. I didn't like that the 2nd maid on day two felt the need to insist I leave a tip for cleaning the room. I would've done so anyway just as a gesture of goodwill but it gave me the impression that maybe she's not being paid a decent living wage.

Really convenient location for the tourists. they have a nice bar on the first floor, but it only works few hours in the evening. They don’t have parking but there’s a parking garage in front of the hotel, however it’s kinda pricey. But we were sure that the car is safe because you can park only from the 4th floor and we heard that small parkings usually gets robbed.

Rooms & bathroom were small, so for bigger people it might be a problem. We didn’t mind it. Paid parking.

The hotel was clean, the staff was great, and the rooms were comfortable. My cousin & I went for a weekend trip, and the price of this hotel for a 3 night stay was unbeatable.

The rooms were on the smaller side, as were the bathrooms. However, it appears to be an older property, so this is expected; and you don’t go on vacation to sit in the hotel room anyways. Also, this property is technically in the Tenderloin neighbourhood which may discourage some… but I can say that we had no issues at all.

The staff were extremely welcoming and very helpful with recommendations of where the best places to eat were with there being no restaurant at the hotel. We travelled from England so it was nice to see some home comforts with the English decor. Bed extremely comfy.

Our view wasn't great even though we were on the 7th floor. We went on the trip to celebrate my partners birthday and asked if the hotel were able to do anything special for us but they informed me before wr went that they were unable to fulfill the request which was quite disappointing.

2 young gentlemen were excellent; 1 who allowed me to check in early after a long flight from New York and the guy I asked about the AC because it’s not working when we arrived but everything was perfectly fine. This hotel is in good location especially if you’re just in the city for a tour/leisure, just a place to sleep in.Rental car is just infront of the hotel, No breakfast, but there’s a diner next to it which was very convenient. Perfect choice at Union Square, 10/10 overall!

The room was good and the night clerk was excellent and very comfortable in the sociability factor. He was perceptive when he saw my license noticed I was from kc and congratulated me my team won. Also when I asked for toothpaste he gave me that and a toothbrush, then went to check and see if the water was out on the table and refilled it quick. Also the area around had a lot of good places to eat.

Nothing I would recommend it to anybody that I know looking for a place to stay in San fran.

Fantastic location and staff was friendly and ready to help if needed. Room / Hotel was quiet so I slept my nights very well. Fridge and coffee machine in my room were very useful.

The View from my window was terrible but I wasn't there because of that so overall it didn't effect for my fantastic 10 days experience to San Francisco at all; room was for sleeping.

When my partner said she couldn't ride the elevator (too small, claustrophobic), they upgraded us to a larger room on the next floor up. Staff was very kind, respectful, and responsive. A very very nice 3 star hotel at a great location. We will definitely stay here again.
