Nob Hill Hotel

I LOVED staying here! There is a 24-hour front desk, which was extremely helpful for questions, also the place is NEWLY RENOVATED (has only been open for a few months) to perfection, the bed was comfortable, extremely clean, brand new furnishings, great wallpaper and floor rug, blackout shades, tv that worked, sufficient towels, overhead fan, all of the lamps, outlets, refrigerator, shower, etc. worked - it was just a lovely, comfortable place to stay and enjoy a few days in SF.

Only comment would be there isn't an accessible outlet near the bed so I had to plug my phone on the outlet by the door, which really wasn't a problem for me.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Recently updated. The area was really nice, for San Francisco. You absolutely have to pay for parking at the parking structure down the street. Very common for car breaking anywhere in San Francisco. So this is to be expected. Everything is within walking distance and as long as you stay away from the tenderloin you will enjoy your stay here.

It would be nice to have safe parking at the hotel, but there just isn’t room in San Francisco for this. Definitely, not a deal breaker. I really was not expecting such a nice hotel for such a great deal.

How old the building was and awesome elevator ! Bed comfy , can open windows, love the character of building. Fresh citrus water available Any time and good coffee / tea avail.

No shampoo in shower, coffee filter was still in coffee pot from previous occupancy. Bathroom door was locked, had to call for assistance. Street Parking was not easy to find . Restaurant next door was advertised on line but was CLOSED so had to walk to papa John s . $150 deposit was mandatory and didn’t get receipt at check out or sent to my email so had no idea what I was charged.

The hotel is in an older building that survived the 1906 earthquake and has character and charm. It's in a quiet, walkable neighborhood for being in the city. We got a good price through Booking.com and were surprised at how nice the hotel was considering what we paid. Everyone we encountered there was very nice and you could tell they wanted our stay to be a good one. If our travels bring us to Saan Francisco again, will definitely be going back.

Interior was very nice, spacious room and bath, friendly staff.

The location was not in the best area. Our car window was broken on the first night, nothing was stolen. We were parked on the street with a view of the hotel from the car. Recommend using the overnight parking garage a few blocks away nearby, it’s a close walk. Car was safe in the parking garage on the second night. Was able to have the window repaired with a local mobile auto glass repair business.

The room was very clean, the hotel had a good location close to most of the places we were planning to visit, check in was fast with no extra charges. Also, it was not hard to find parking in front of the hotel. We had no problems at all, it was good experience.

You can hear EVERYTHING near your room like people are standing near you. soundproofing is completely absent and if you come across loud neighbors, then you will not sleep well.

The room was amazing. Very clean and updated/remodeled. The king size pillows were a plus.

The windows didn’t have screens which was kinda inconvenient due to the fact that there is no Ac in the room, just a ceiling fan. So we had to keep the windows open. There was also no parking so we had to look for parking on the street.

This is a hidden gem. Our room was newly renovated and beautiful. Quiet, which is what we needed after a long flight from Australia. Eric was helpful and conscientious. Is a small place tucked up next to a lovely Italian restaurant. Easy to get to any place in SF you want to go. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location was good, it is next to a quaint coffee shop that has great coffee and breakfast options. There is no on site parking, so keep that in mind. Hotel is super cute, I loved riding the elevator! Would stay here again!

The toilet was not flushing properly. Other than that.. no issues.
