No room cleaning and house keeping during my 2 rooms 3 nights stay. Front Desk said this is COVID policy but not stated in Booking.com hotel information for customer awareness. Front Desk staff insisted no room rate discount for this policy which is not fair to the hotel guests.

Pros of the property, it’s very secure and safe. Downtown San Fran can be a bit sketchy, especially at night but the Marriot has security on staff at all times and gated private parking. Everything is clean and the rooms are very comfortable.

Cons, it just isn’t good value for money and the amount they charge EXTRA for parking is ridiculous. When the room is more than $200 for the night AND they charge $50 EXTRA for parking, wow. It does make you want to stay somewhere else where you will feel valued as a guest. The facilities, not much to speak of. Unfortunately the rooms themselves have very thin walls which means you will hear next doors tv or conversations, I would expect better of a 4 Star.

Clean nice hotel and rooms; the staff is very accommodating, friendly & helpful; also nice to have a restaurant on the property so you don't have to travel far for a meal; it was good to have a secure place to park your vehicle; & it was the perfect location for us, right across the street from my medical appointment at CPMC.

The beds were not comfortable at all; there is no place to park while you check-in; the $50.00 fee to park seems a bit high when you've already paid to stay on the property; and the homeless people hanging out in the alley were a bit unnnereving.

The decor in this hotel is absolutely beautiful. I mean we were taking pics in the lobby, the stairs, everywhere. It was very nicely decorated. The room itself was also beautiful. The bathroom was, while small, very well designed. We couldn't get over how quiet the hotel was despite being completely sold out. And the restaurant/diner next door was delicious. Would absolutely stay here again!

Everything was great! There were a lot of homeless people in the city but thats everywhere. Did not affect our stay at all

housekeeping is only every other day so we did not get this for the time we stayed other than that couldn’t fault it - location is a bit out of the way but not major

I had a love one in the hospital, so the hotel was across the street therefore it was very easy for me to go back and forth to be with my love one. I also appreciated one of the staff there who helped me get a good rate for staying there. This helped out so much especially when you have a love one in the hospital! I will definitely stay at this place again.

Had to pay to park car on property.

The decor of the hotel was great and the room was lovely. The bed was super comfortable too. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel was good for accessing downtown and the surrounding area. There were good transport links nearby for venturing further afield. We had a really lovely stay.

Convenient location to Japan town. The gym was nice and clean. Security was good. Mel’s Dinner had good food. Bed was comfortable.

Just that there were a lot of homeless in the area , but then again it is the in t try he heart of the city.

Loved everything, beautifully decorated had a very 1920’s Art Deco feel. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was great! Our room we booked ended up being a little to small for us and they got us into a new room so quick and it was awesome!

Parking, but it’s San Francisco, but they had a great gated parking lot, just very compact.

Parking. We were told there was parking but when arrived they said it was full. there was no on street parking available and had to drop off partner to check in and then we where given directions to a parking lot close by.
