Saratoga Oaks Lodge

The staff was fantastic! We got to the lodge at 1:30 and check in is 4:00 they accommodated us in early, fantastic. Upon leaving our battery was dead and the staff worked to help us get the battery up and running, unfortunately we had to call a tow truck to jump our car. The staff went upon & beyond to assist, one of the owners was there and he was so gracious to help us out as well as the gentleman at the desk. The lodge is so clean and tidy and in a fabulous location to stroll the downtown area for shops and food. Book your stay here, you won't be disappointed. We can't say thank you enough for the attention that was provided to help us out.

Nothing, all was perfect!

The hotel is located in the village area of Saratoga and easy to walk anywhere. The bed was comfortable.

The rooms were somewhat dated, but the hotel in general is dated because of it's age. It would need a lot of money put into it to make it more luxurious and updated. The price of the room wasn't inexpensive and we paid extra to have a larger more luxurious room. The room was larger but not luxurious. The toilet and shower area is very plain and small and the vanity is in the main room.

Great value on this place! I wish there was a bathtub in the room, but not to be expected for only $120-140 a night. The beds were very comfortable and they had high quality sheets and towels. It was very quiet at night and easy to sleep. The staff were super friendly and allowed me to check in a little early and check out a little late. They even brought me extra blankets upon request.

The only downside is they have slatted window shades instead of curtains, which let in a fair amount of light. I recommend bringing an eye mask if you need it dark to sleep.

Great location and very spacious rooms. I've never experienced a steam/mist device in a shower before, but it was a great feature! The bed was comfy and parking was just outside the room - ideal for transferring heavy cases! Very close to some fantastic wine tasting bars, plus of the best places I've eaten in my life - La Fondue! The staff I spoke to were great - one gent printed me off directions to help us find a particular place. Highly recommended.

Good location in Saratoga. Woodsy feeling but still located in downtown. Price for rooms was quite alright. Really classy feeling and there are some very nice rooms on the higher end of the price spectrum. The cheap rooms are affordable with a nice touch of luxury.

Hard to say what could have been better because I am not too picky. Beds may be firm for some people-- or perfect for others. Just know they are relatively firm mattresses, however still comfortable. I did check for bed bugs as with any hotel, no matter the rating. There aren't any bed bugs. So there's not anything I didn't really like.

We love the location and the front office greet and breakfast set up the next morning was very nice. The room was clean, the bed is comfy. Location is perfect for us!

The price is a little high for a one night stay when you’re supposed to check in after 4pm. The parking lot is a bit tight when it is full especially with an SUV. With that said, we’ve stayed here many times and would stay here again.

They need to have a ramp going into office It’s steps are awkward. I use a cane when walking and I fell coming out of the office. A lot of bruises sore muscles but otherwise I’m ok. The office clerk and a maid were very helpful getting me back up and making sure I was ok. They were very nice and helpful, but to accommodate handicapped they need a ramp.

Only problem was we could not access the internet even though password was correct. Spoke to the manager about this and they could not help, I had a lot of work docs to upload so it was difficult. Love the place, little pricey but once we saw the room it was very large. Nice place to stay when we visit my dad. We'll be back if they can fix the internet thing. Thank you!

The bed was extremely comfortable with a mix of soft and firm pillows. The coffee maker in my room stopped working and the property manager promptly replaced it. The property is very clean and well kept. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They accommodated a last-minute request for me without any bother.

Honestly, I can't think of anything that could have been better. The lodge fit all my needs. There's really nothing that I didn't like.

I liked that as we walked into the room the temperature was set so it was cozy,warm and welcoming! Although we booked a room with 2 queen beds,i loved that they kept the other bed tucked and out of the way since we were only 2 ppl staying. It was clean! Loved the steam generator in the shower and I loved the Peets coffee for the Keurig. The bed was also SO comfortable and I liked that they were not stingy with the extra towels. I didn't feel like I was staying at a lodge but at a really nice home. Staff was friendly. There's continental breakfast and our room had a microwave,fridge,and spacious countertop. The grounds are also photogenic! We are from SF and this place ended up being such an awesome weekend getaway despite only being in town for a work holiday party at the Plumed Horse.
