Front office staff friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the local steakhouse.

Check in office was musty. ‘Breakfast’ was marginal.

Basic accommodation that was clean and functional. Staff was friendly and helpful. Having a mini fridge with a freezer was nice.

After driving ten hours from southern Washington state, getting stuck on I-5 due to a horrendous accident for 90 minutes, and finally arriving at the Lodge, I was mostly in need of a comfortable bed to pass out on. The Lodge did its job. The room was clean, the AC worked, the shower in the morning got me going, and best of all, there were plenty of dining choices nearby for breakfast. Also, very convenient location off the highway -- not close enough to hear the traffic but close enough to only be a few minutes away.

The facilities are a bit dated and there was no AC unit in the main bedroom so I had to sleep in the front part of the room. Other than that, it was a fine experience and if I ever have to make the drive again, I will definitely choose this establishment to stay in.

First and foremost, this motel is extremely clean and neat. My room was spotless as were the grounds - even the pet area evidenced that the motel staff worked to keep everything clean. (So many motel pet areas have so much dog doo that you are afraid to take a step). Second, the television and air conditioner worked perfectly. Third, it is centrally located on Yreka's main street. Lastly, the motel staff are courteous..

The only thing I can think of is that the motel's breakfast offering is, basically, non-existent.

Check in went well. The attendant was very nice and welcoming. He was professional. The room was modest but clean, clean, clean and well kept up! Everything functioned well. There were thoughtful modifications to the room such as usb plugs at the night stands and standard electrical outlets for each side of each bed. (We rented two queen beds). The windows kept the sounds at bay. When we checked in there was hardly anyone parked at the hotel rooms. The next morning it was full and we did not hear a thing when late motorists must have come in.

I can't think of anything I didn't like. It was an honest hotel rate for the going rate, was well kept up and super clean. The place was super quiet! The check-in was polite and easy.

Spacious rooms, comfy beds, older rooms but have been updated. Location, value, and lack of noise a plus. Love the pet area and breakfast, which has a good variety, including hot offerings. Impressive considering it's grab and go. This small motor lodge does this style of breakfast better than the big guys!!

First stay was great, except lots of dog "bombs" in pet area. Second stay, not so great. Didn't get the room we reserved, staff member was bothered our dog peed on a bush that wasn't in the dog park area...ironic, considering the above 😳. However, the dog area had been cleaned since our last stay, and we're happy overall. We've shared this place with others, and plan to stay each month as we travel along I-5.

Room and bathroom were very well cleaned. Bed was comfortable. Good lighting and electric outlets. Amenities of fridge and microwave provided, although it took some clever positioning to update this 50’s motor lodge. The breakfast was nominal but could work if needed. The grounds are well kept with inviting charm. Definitely quaint and vintage with updates to meet the needs of today’s travelers.

No complaints.

They were accommodating when it came to my late arrival and check In and also allowed me a late check out. Both of which I was appreciative of. The room was clean and tidy the overall appearance of the location was up kept and satisfactory. Nice to know that with Themistocles affordable rates they haven’t been taken over by the people who frequent the other reasonably priced location in Yreka. Hope that doesn’t change.

Personally the staff could have been a little more friendly. Though I don’t believe it was intentional and they were not rude by any means just not what him use to with regard to customer service. Not enough to deter me from utilizing this location next time I’m in Yreka.

Swimming pool open even after we entered and time was up. 116F during day. So glad for the extra help. Bathroom very convenient in size and situation. Great.

Minimum interaction with host. Visible only at registration. Invisible in morning for breakfast or checkout.

We have stayed here several times over the years and it has been the same each time. The staff are always welcoming and kind. The room is comfortable and it is a good place to rest for the night.

The included “breakfast” consisted of coffee and a prepackaged pastry from a big box store. No fruit, yoghurt or bread of any kind. This was something new to us and really should not have been advertised as breakfast.
